Where i'm from, stribog is 1 of the most sold pcc. Starting to be a real scorpion killer. Quality is there. They are designed to be fully automatic hard used... can 't go wrong with that. Need to pick one up.
It's now 2 years later, roughly, and both B&T and GP have new versions. Will you be doing a follow up review like this? Maybe include some others (CMMG, PSA-AKV) I am a 9mm PCC nut and watch everything I can on these.
i bought the b&t ghm9 which is in-between these. i freakin love this gun. i want a stribog now. my ghm9 takes glock mags so pretty cheap. mine came with folding stock and elfman trigger with sites i got it for 1600$.
I am sold on the Stribog, 100%. I love that firearm!!! My AR15 is a little too heavy for my wife, so I'm getting the Stribog for her, lol, that's what I'm telling her... lol. It's for you honey, lol
Thank you for a great, very informative, comparative test. I ordered a Stribog a couple of weeks ago (currently delayed because of COVID-19-created supply line problems between here and Slovakia). It's nice to know that a blue-collar-priced weapon can hold it's own against a Swiss Rolex-class one. Keep up the good work, fellas, and thank you again!
love my stribog. it does everything I need. Also, what can the price difference get you? well, it allowed me to buy 7 extra mags and a cz shadow 2 urban grey with 10 mags. oh, and some practice ammo. I can live with that value proposition.
The price difference on these is retarded. There's no way I'd buy the B&T when I could do like you did and have lots of extra mags and ammo to shoot it. B&T is Gucci.
Eh yeah you can buy a G shock or own a Rolex and I'm sure you'll own the G shock. I got a B&T apc9 pro Fde/tan with an Eotech Exps3-2 oh and an Obsidian 9 suppressor, my sidearm is a Walther q5 match SF. 3,000 rounds of speer 124gr Tmj 1,000 round of winchester 147gr hollow subs.
Sure I could had gotten 5 or 6 $1,000 guns, but really? I'd much rather have the recoil of a 22 in my 9mm cqc and a sidearm that no one else has, The trigger on the cz's nice, but the purchase on the slides dog shit. The binary will be going in soon
I dropped a Larue MBT 2 stage into my Stribog and it functioned perfectly. A little shimming was required. That said, some AR triggers will require minor modification. I ended up reinstalling the factory trigger and may try the MCARBO spring kit.
I just got the Stribog A3... It's fantastic! Put around 400 rds through it right out of the box. Zero failures. We even shot it upside down. Sounds dumb until you know that a lot of guns don't like to do that. I'm about 1500 into it with the ACR-Tailhook brace. I couldn't be happier.
Never fired a stribog, but I have the APC9 pro and it is just exceptionally well put together. No complaints about it whatsoever. Also something not alot of people talk about is the bolt release when puting in a new mag. An MP5 I don't think even has that. Love that feature on guns.
Great video guys. Honestly, I think either gun is a good choice. I used my tax return to get the B&T APC9 PRO, and it doesn't disappoint. Got mine for $2350 at Palmetto State Armory and dropped the Geissele APC9 trigger in. Made it an even sweeter shooter than the already good stock trigger. If you really want the APC9 PRO or K version with the dedicated Glock lower already installed, head to Tarheel State Firearms. They are a Master B&T detailer and carry just about every accessory you can imagine. When I SBR mine I'll get the telescoping stock from them. Also F5 Industries (?) makes a 50 round drum for the APC. Not a bad home defense set up.
You guys make a good point. There is a huge difference between inexpensive and cheap. Inexpensive is what the bargain hunter gun owner, or those with little free cash to invest in firearms, wants. But no one wants a cheap gun. Best example I can come up with is a 60's VW Bug will get you there reliably if you can not afford a Corvette, but no one wants to be pushing a Yugo after the rubber band breaks.
I think once the roller delayed stribog comes out, along with the metal lined mags, it's gonna be a no brainer. Chad's hair is like half man bun half mullet!
I think the big difference is the buffer spring in the B&T that aids in recoil, but I think if your savy with machining, you could easily make a buffer to fulfill that roll and make the stribog as sweet shooting.
Sevo, not really, I have the apc9,the apc10, and the apc45. One for any occasion. The stribog can’t hold a candle to any of the apc’s. Have you ever shot a B&T?
Cool to see the differences between the two. I recently had the opportunity to purchase a slightly used APC9 SD. Holy shit balls it is awesome. If you can afford it, I highly recommend it!! That’s a little Ferris Bueller for ya.
The irony when some shitty UMP clone by B&T costs more than an actual H&K it’s trying to be 😂 Stribog is the way to go if you want a totally useless type of weapon.
@@rifleshooterchannel208 look at the apc9 SD, its an integrated suppresed 9mm with ported holes on the rear of the barrel. I have both the Extar and the Stribog SP9 A1. I like them both for different reasons. That being said the Extar is range gun, maybe home defense if you have nothing else. The Extar actually has a better stock trigger and is lighter in weight. It also has a bit less recoil than the Stribog. The Extar is fragile though. One drop broke two pieces off on mine, (the gun was still functional) and I was able to get replacement parts quicky. Some of the parts are so chintzy on the Extar it surprises me the company did not make metal variants that would have improved on the durability. Have you seen how flimsy the plunger stop is? The Stribog is much more robust in every way. The Stribog has many brace options, like the folding SB mp5 style on mine, as well as far more aftermarket support. That's a big plus. Reliability on both is not really in question with anyone it seems. If I had to choose between one to bet my life on it would be the Stribog hands down though. It's a true fighting gun in every sense of the definition. The Extar to me is more like a fun gun, a range toy on a good day. Although I believe the Extar is reliable enough for home defense, I believe the durability would be highly suspect. My biggest hope for the Stribog would be for metal mags, or at least metal lined. Just my thoughts though.

An Average Manufacturer Worker in Switzerland earns probably around 4.5k per Month(which is below the swiss average and not easy to feed a family with). Plus the Landcost for the factory and co is huge(between 200-400 USD per meter square). So i get why the prices are higher. Of course they use the swiss branding as an excuse but you need to keep in mind that swiss guns and mags are *more* expensive in switzerland than in the US. B&T is loke a Ferrari. Stribog is like the new C8 Corvette. The C8 is being updated a bit this new model year making it a bit better. Stribog too is being updated but stll was great to start. We are blessed to have such wonderful choices.
I have not been able to find any definitive information on the metal used in the barrel and components on the Stribog. I really want one, but i'd hate for a 650 dollar gun that does what a keltec sub2000 does for half the price to not be up to the cut.
Bro I just picked up a new firearm last Saturday.. I was stuck between the B&T APC 9 Glock lower and the stribog A2.. I walked out with the B&T GHM9 compact Glock lower lol. So far I don't regret the decision, my only gripe is the charging handle slaping my support hand. So I moved it back to the right side and changed position how I charge the weapon when dry.

@@Iamtherealjerkfreak I disagree considering it's priced so high. I think there are several options that are better out there.
Love my Extar EP9... NO issues, takes Glock magazines and NO issues with the 40 round ETS magazines!!!!
Don’t the upper receivers fail…or melt…explode? Real question
Please build a FGC-9 and do a review. I know you cant show the process, but maybe give your impressions on how difficult it is to build and what is needed to produce one.
When did Jon Snow start wearing glasses?
Please revisit this video and compare the SP9A3S version of the Stribog and the APC9K!
B&T is loke a Ferrari. Stribog is like the new C8 Corvette. The C8 is being updated a bit this new model year making it a bit better. Stribog too is being updated but stll was great to start. We are blessed to have such wonderful choices.
That's the right way to look at it!
Don't let the comments get to you Chad. Remember, short hair is for serfs and plebeians. Long hair is for lordly knights and nobles.
I have not been able to find any definitive information on the metal used in the barrel and components on the Stribog. I really want one, but i'd hate for a 650 dollar gun that does what a keltec sub2000 does for half the price to not be up to the cut.
Honestly I'll just wait for the Stribog A3. The roller delay system is much better than that cheap direct blowback nonsense.
What a perfect review. That B&T looks 'Very Niiice' as Borat would say
Sooo…. Question... ATF ruling on that adapter to use oil filters as suppressors? If you buy one of those do you have to register is as a suppressor?
Nice! Love watching you guys!!👊🇺🇸 Would you choose the Stribog, APC or the Draco Nak9x?
Was waiting on someone to put this vid out
My OCD hates a rail at the 6 o’clock position. It should be m-lok at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, with a rail only at 12 o’clock.
TerraRyzer tru dat, tru dat👌🏻
Love my stribog its a lead spitting machine
Bro I just picked up a new firearm last Saturday.. I was stuck between the B&T APC 9 Glock lower and the stribog A2..
I walked out with the B&T GHM9 compact Glock lower lol.
So far I don't regret the decision, my only gripe is the charging handle slaping my support hand.
So I moved it back to the right side and changed position how I charge the weapon when dry.
Will be picking up same version in a few days
I learned a lot. Thats why i subscribe.Thank you.
What was the adapter for the can on the stribog. I am looking into my first suppressor
thank you Thank you
I still want an UMP 45.
I would love to see a review of the new Ruger PC Charger
Stribog all day.
