As a former Hindu, born into Hinduism and converted to follow the true God in Yeshua, I was seeking my creator, my God. I came to realize as a Hindu when I prayed to these idols thinking they were god, I was not finding true fulfilment. My life was very self centred and I was usually full of anger and resentment. I was unable to see my own suffering because this is all I knew, I was raised in it. It seemed quite normal to me. I didn’t see the truth until I was prayed upon by a Christian preacher. The way Hindus believe is that there are many ways to God wether it’s Hindu, Islam Christian. All paths lead to Rome. But after I received a Blessing from this Christian pastor 5 years ago it changed everything for me. It was like this veil was lifted off my eyes and my soul. I felt Gods love for the first time and it was so incredible. God does exist and you can find Him in Jesus. Since then I havnt looked back. I dumped all my Hindu idols in the garbage. They are worthless.

What people of other nations and of those nation's established culture and system of beliefs don't realize,,,is that the deity or deities they're worshipping, may in fact be "fallen angels" which disguised themselves as light, portraying the outward characteristics of a benevolent being in order to have as many people as possible deceived, and to be worshipped by them!! That's what I think in relation to every other World Religion. It's said in the Old Testament of the Bible, that during Lucifer's fall from Heaven, there were as many as a third of all of the angelic hosts cast down upon Earth from Heaven, due to their allegiance to Lucifer and to his rebellion against God in Heaven which started a War. When Lucifer and his minions lost the fight, God found no more place for them in Heaven, thus casting them out of Heaven, onto the Earth. Once they've been cast out, they watched over the affairs of mankind, until they decided to intermingle with mortal women since they found them to be beautiful and easy prey nonetheless, giving birth to GIANTS as their offspring, called "Nephilim" which was an abomination onto God, along with every other sinful deeds the fallen angels began to teach humans! Thus, man was taught how to make weapons of War, they taught Man alchemy, chemistry, witchcraft, astrology, exorcisms etc!! With so much knowledge and divine wisdom having been revealed to mankind, soon Man started Wars, fierce competition and rivalry amongst themselves often giving birth to deep resentment towards the adversary, where it could lead to hatred and ultimately MURDER!!!

I feel such an urge to make everyone understand the impending eternal doom they all are walking towards, but i know of the crude resistance I'll be met with by trying to let these people know about Salvation and Jesus Christ etc. And i don't blame them completely though!! Paul converts from being a Christian ‘terminator’ to devoting his whole life for Christ after 1 spiritual encounter with the risen Christ and never looked back. @King Amen-Tut-Ankh original sin isn't what people think it is. If a baby dies it goes right to Jesus it doesn't go to hell because of the original sin. Catholics just pushed the whole you have to get your baby baptized at birth thing because they wanted to indoctrinate people early on and get them sucked into that cult. The Bible is clear that baptism happens when the person is old enough to truly repent and turn their life over to God. The original sin is actually the corruption of the world around us that leads us to do things that hurt ourselves and others. Like for instance if your father or grandfather were alcoholics then there's a likelihood that you could become an alcoholic. And that could ruin your life therefore it is sin. That sin was passed down to you from your forefathers. That is what God is talking about when He warns us that sin is passed down from generation to generation. The mistakes that those who come before us make will inevitably affect us in the future. But if someone loves and fears the one true God they are passing on good things to their offspring. Unfortunately we are all filthy rags and so we all inevitably pass on something wrong to our children. Adam and Eve in the beginning knew no sin and so they were not going to pass anything evil down to their offspring. That is until they corrupted themselves by wanting to know about technology and all the things that would cause them to not need God as much. When we are completely dependent on God that is when we are at our best. When we think we can do it ourselves that is when we are at our worst.

I was born in America but didn't grow up Christian but then I looked into it and now I am. My wife was born in Czechoslovakia and wasn't Christian, now she is. Our children made the same choice once they understood and accepted Christ as their savior.

Jesús didnt only say that he was God but he also proved it. He walked on water, he Rose from the dead, etc. They are not stories they are eyewitnesses.

I am from a Hindu family yet no god could speak either good or bad . Only I was praying and no answers. Baptist and non denomination churches are like this, for someone to be a pastor he just have to claim I am a pastor! And it’s done. In the catholic and Orthodox Church they have to study for at least 8 years and have 2 degrees (philosophy and theology) by the end of that they are capable of at least explain why Jesus is the truth.
Jews didn't "convert to this new belief system" they, like me, found the truth in the Messiah and the New Covenant announced by the prophets. I used to be baptized in Buddhism, because since childhood I always experienced bad things, my parents and family gave me to be the son of one of the gods in Buddha, but this is a mistake, my grandmother once said before I was born, in her dream there was someone the old man who gave me a baby boy, before I was born but he didn't know who he was, before finally my grandmother knew it was jesus. I have Chinese descent and my family believes in Buddhism, a kind of hereditary.. Jesus already knows what will happen to me as a child and this is a sign that I must submit to him not to the gods of other religions, in my childhood I experienced many calamities that made me almost die, I believe if I knew Jesus from the start , there must be something missing at that time, because after believing in him now, something I feel peace and joy even in difficult times, which I never felt before..' now almost my whole family baptized in Christ, even my father who was one of the administrators of the Buddhist religion.. amazing.. thankyou God..I hope that those whose families used to be similar to mine are opened and believe in Christ ...God bless you all

I'll answer that question, what type of evidence qualifies as evidence and what does not qualify, to the Atheist. The Christian has a story about Jesus of Christianity. It's about the context of the story. Did the story come from human writers of religious fiction or did it come from what a God of the Universe actually did do. Consider that Jesus of Christianity was born someplace close to Judea around 30 years before the claims of the resurrection. How did Jesus of Christianity know, just knew, that the Roman Empire military would have Judea under military occupation when Jesus grew into adulthood? That means that Jesus of Christianity had some influence on the Roman Empire political and military leadership to have the Roman Empire military occupy the area at just the right time. Then Jesus of Christianity has to own that he caused the torture and killing of the people of Judea. That lowers the ethical and moral Jesus of Christianity a little bit. The context is that if Jesus of Christianity is a character of human writers of religious fiction, then Jesus had nothing to do with the torture and killing of the people of Judea. If a the context of Jesus of Christianity is a God of the Universe, and tries to claim some moral and ethical high ground, then that just doesn't make sense. The story of Jesus of Christianity's birth is just a story added on by human writers of religious fiction if Jesus is a character of religious fiction. If Jesus of Christianity is a God of the Universe, then it is evidence of the co-conspiracy to commit the murder of the people in Judea.
There is also the context of the story of the Resurrection. I consider the Ascension into heaven of Jesus of Christianity to be the most telling of the whole story. If Jesus of Christianity is just a character of human created fiction, then his ascension into heaven is just part of a story. If Jesus of Christianity is a God of the Universe, then it was the abandonment of the people of Judea to the Roman Empire military to be tortured and killed. To which the God of the Universe brought about for the Gods torture quest. Why would a God of the Universe bring a torture and killing military to Judea? What if Jesus of Christianity had brought books and Education. Brought health care and medicines. Brought Science and research about the natural world. Brought good government. There is an element of sadomasochism in humans that just wants to see a display of torture every once in a while. Read the stories of the gods in the Ancient Greek and Ancient Roman literature. Humans like to see the Gods suffer for them. That was the conclusion of the many of the Philosophers of the Age of Enlightenment. Thomas Jefferson thought that Jesus was a good person and religious writers just changed his story thru religious fiction tales. I'm an Atheist not because of the knowledge of Science, but because of some knowledge of Mythical stories, many from the Ancient world.

What do we do with miracles in the modern age? if someone is driving drunk and uses the defense in their trial, that they prayed to Jesus to protect them and anybody else's car on the road from harm, would you believe it? How about murder? If someone said that god told them to kill someone, would you believe them? Isn't there reasonable doubt? Also, when I go into restaurants, there is a sign in the bathroom that says, 'Employees must wash their hands.' Would it be okay to put up a sign, 'Don't bother to wash your hands, just pray to Jesus.' Would that be okay? State governments test restaurants to keep the hot foods hot and the cold foods cold. Is it okay to stop doing that if the restaurant promises to pray to Jesus to keep everybody safe? When the Federal Aeronautical Administration investigates a plane crash, they don't add up the number of Christians that deserved to live and subtract the number of atheists who deserved to die to get some spiritual belief number. The higher the number, the more likely god would fix whatever was wrong with the plane. Does prayer work? They generally investigate according to 'Nature's God' as written in the Declaration of Independence of the United States that Thomas Jefferson wrote. Not Christianity's super natural god.

Going to hell means one thing; God was not chosen. Accepting Christ as our Lord and saviour---believing in our hearts and professing with our mouths---is how to enter the kingdom of heaven. We have the free will to make a decision. That being to either follow Christ and accept him into your life, or to not. Going to hell means that we have abandoned God, not the other way around. The five elemental forces became gods - Bhoomi vaayu agni varuna aakash When they decided that all humans are created by a specific someone , came the Brahman When they thought someone was responsible for all their live force , came Vishnu When they believed a destroyer would rid them of all evils, came shiva When they valued their wealth and beauty , came lakshmi When they benifitted hugely from a cow , it was made a god , a mother literally , calling her Gho-maatha The list would be near endless . Many more gods were formed . Some from stories without definite proof of existance . Yet they are considered as gods because of their stories , that all lead the basic principles of living as mentioned in the great books . As from my sources , The number 330 million refers to the ' samastha jeeva koti ' which translates to ‘every living being ' including all animals . It was an estimation by the then people . This concept was made probably to show/teach that god exists in each and everyone of us . Irrespective of cast , creed , colour , culture etc,. That god is ourself montoring our kartha karma kriya or simply our every day doings and duties . If i had to state it shortly . I'd say , the hindu gods were all born from Ideaologies . where anyone worthy would be considered a god even if its a demonic kid or a hundred feet long king cobra or a mutant half lion or a simple plain dwarf human . @Joanna C I've already studied this carefully for years. the Vedic calendar mentions the Earth being created and recreated every 4.3 billion years (modern science dates the Earth as nearly that old). there's also tons of things the Vedas mentions and the details, locations, and dates of those things match up with modern scientific findings...and those things are thousands or millions of years old...meaning the authors either had divine sight or were around during those ancient times or both. I gave only 1 example with limited citations in the description of the vid i linked in my last comment...but why not see that? why make up (seemingly) false claims without evidence? are you open to changing to your mind?

One thing that I always found fascinating was the historical and cultural fact that prior to the covenant between GOD and man, is the concept that every other pagan religion accepts the existence of the other gods along with their own. That is to say, there was no doubt that there were gods, but it was never a question if the others existed or not. It was only a matter of "whose gods were stronger." It is for this reason (among many others) that distinguishes from those pagan false gods with the ONE TRUE GOD of Abraham in that the one true GOD rejects that notion of other deities completely--given that the others are false gods (demons, fallen angels, ghost, completely fabricated by those seeking power to exploit the ignorant--what the left does, etc) regardless of their origins, they are false gods. So, contrary to what secularist claim--those other tribal pagan religions did not recruit others initially into believing their gods over others. It happen as a matter of conquest--(which is why blood sports were deemed to please and favor the gods, But I digress). So, if one's gods failed to protect them or grant them victory over others--then they were not as strong, and therefore abandon for those gods that were stronger. Every culture/tribe did this in the both the prehistoric and ancient worlds--all except one tribe...the tribe of Israel. Despite their hardships (most were self inflicted) they remained true--and is the ONLY ancient religion still practiced to this day. Sure, that you may have a few primitive tribes, but most of those survived out of seclusion from the others (out of fear) and failed to develop beyond the spear or bow/arrows. But I digress. The point being, that the answer becomes apparent, as do the historical lessons in the Bible (old and new testament) in how we get from the Garden of Eden to now--the long journey back to GOD, an epic redemption story of humanity who out of ignorance, envy, and pride were manipulated into disobeying GOD, and GOD'S efforts to save humanity from itself. If it took so long, it was only because it took us that long to understand what GOD was doing for us and why. Which we now have the choice of accepting or rejecting the message of salvation and his word--which is the divine and universal truth that will not only save us, but set our soul free from the shackles of the fallen world.
You won't have other Gods before me, and other sentences in the Bible show pretty clearly that the Jews believed there were other Gods, but their God was stronger... Same old, same old.

I wish the brother emphasized more on the resurrection. I think dead guys that comeback to life are credible, especially if he predicted his own death and resurrection. I believe that gentlemen left unsatisfied with the answer, one of the biggest differences of Jesus to other gods is that he died and came back to life. No other worldview can claim their teacher died and lived again through a resurrection after 3days, and he himself predicted this. At least to my known knowledge.

99% of witnesses today who testify to have encountered GOD, always does so through Jesus. Why are this argument not used to prove Christianity and that Jesus Christ is God? Therefore the Bible is true and people should do all they can to follow it... People say you cant prove anything from a witness, well if 99% of the experience of encountering God is through Jesus, you can. Because the testimony are either true or false, if its true, it happen and if its happen Jesus Christ is Lord as people witness. If the testimonies are false, the person are either lieing, hallucinating or having some brainmalfunction, so they believe to have seen something that is not there. Bouth those two things are not probable. If in our reality permitted in general that people lied about something they believe in or hallucinated so strongly that they believe to have met GOD. So if humans had a tendency to do this (lie and hallucinate about God) and all testimonies of encountering Jesus Christ was not real and testimonies could therefore not be shown to who is God. WHY are there no other testimonies of first eye witnesses living today of encountering other gods?

Jasmine Harris I am honestly confused. I do not know if you are joking or just purely ignorant to the world around you. There are thousands of religions each claiming something different. People from pretty much all those religions claim to have met their god and to have spoken with their god/gods. It is an absolute wrong “fact” that nobody from another religion than Christianity have had personal experiences. It’s just wrong - and VERY ignorant. People have seen Allah, Vishnu, Odin ect. So many people say so many different things. I am not saying that people are crazy. It’s normal for people to see all kinds of things like ghosts, spirits, monsters, ufo’s, angels ect. and a lot of those things are conflicting. You cannot trust human senses because they are easilly manipulated. Now that you know that there actually are plenty of people who have seen different gods, spoken with then ect. it should be apparent, that one shouldn’t trust personal experiences because doing so would make clearly conflicting ideas and realities both true - which ik itself is impossible.

But when Christ found me, the very moment I repented and accepted him everything has changed. It was enough evidence for me, no one can take it from me. He is real, I'm now freed of my addiction, and I hate sinning more than ever. You might be confused, you might say its insanity, craziness, but its really real. I was even an atheist at one point in my life. I can't explain it to you the experiences, because its very hard, but this is the greatest thing that happened to my life ever. I understand you that you are confused, but I tell you, Christ is indeed real and he loves you, even if you are unbeliever. I dont know if the other gods would freed your addiction, I dont know if the other gods would give you conviction of sins, I dont know if the other gods would change the desires of your heart from sinning to doing righteousness. Lou L It doesn't prove that God is real, but it does lead you to think he could be from the perspective of a scheptic based on scientific evidence of the origen of the universe. This horrible, vengeful, blood thirsty, and whatever else God argument you and almost every athiest make is understandable through the fact that you are trying to disprove the existence of God, but it also shows that you have been too lazy to read the whole Bible from beginning to end to come to a valid conclusion on why he did or didn't do certain things. All the answers are in the Bible. Put them through the test and look at how society was and is now in every aspect. And no, we Christians don't simply worship a book and marvel at its content, we witness the supernatural works of God everyday, which strengthens our faith in a real, loving, and almighty God.
Is Jesus a God of the universe or a character of human writers of religious fiction? Human writers of religious fiction would know about faith healing that gods do in the ancient world. Jesus does faith healing. Human writers of religious fiction would not know about natural preventions and cures of disease like sanitation, cleanliness, sterilization, inoculations and medications. A God of the universe would know that faith healing would not work on a large group of people like the countries in Europe during the bubonic plague. A God of the universe would know about the importance of sanitation, cleanliness, sterilization, inoculations and medications to prevent and cure disease. So which is it, is Jesus a God of the universe or a character of human writers of religious fiction? Jesus told us as much about human disease as human writers or religious fiction knew about disease.
Then how much of a help would it be to do faith healing be? This tells people that human disease is a supernatural event prevented and cured by a super natural event. Humans needed knowledge of natural means of preventing disease. To stop the bubonic plague, people have to know about bacteria on top of fleas on top of rats, clean out your houses of crap, burn you dirty clothes, wash everything regularly. But people continued to die to the bubonic plague. People needed real information against disease, not religious fiction stories.
JESUS resurrected from the dead to a body that doubting Thomas put his hand upon, saw HIM physically and the Apostles ate with HIM as well!!! The problem with this type of questions on if Jesus is the one or not is that PEOPLE REALLY WANT TO KNOW but will not take the time to really study why is real and just want a quick answer and that is not possible. There are things that just have to take the time and put your effort to know all the facts and with proper knowledge come to a conclusion even if you don't like that conclusion.

I am grateful to say that I am a born again Christian and have been since I was 19.......folks if you don’t know Christ as your savior then it burdens my soul to think that you are headed for a terrible place called Hell where the Bible says the fire is never quenched and the worm dies not! Surely you have heard that in Romans 5:12 it says through one man sin entered the entire world! But then God sent his only son to live an absolute sinless and perfect life and the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:21 He who knew no sin became Sin for us that we would be made his righteousness! The Bible says in 1 John 2:2 he was made to be the propitiation for our sins! And not just for our sins but the sins of the whole world! This means you cannot be good enough to earn your way into Heaven and Christ clearly said in John 14:6 I am the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the father but through me! Acts 4:12 clearly states that there is no other name given unto Heaven or earth by which we must be saved as there is salvation in no other! Jesus clearly states that there is clearly only one way to Salvation and it’s him that’s it! There is no other way! He bled and died a terrible criminal’s death that he clearly did not deserve but we deserved! God owes us absolutely nothing except death and eternal endless suffering in a burning hell! But he made a way possible so that we can be forgiven for our sins and offenses against him! And if all we do is accept that payment he made on that cruel cross for our sins then we can have our sins forever forgiven and forever escape the wrath of God that is to be poured out upon those who refuse the atonement and finished work of Christ! As a former Hindu, born into Hinduism and converted to follow the true God in Yeshua, I was seeking my creator, my God. I came to realize as a Hindu when I prayed to these idols thinking they were god, I was not finding true fulfilment. My life was very self centred and I was usually full of anger and resentment. I was unable to see my own suffering because this is all I knew, I was raised in it. It seemed quite normal to me. I didn’t see the truth until I was prayed upon by a Christian preacher. The way Hindus believe is that there are many ways to God wether it’s Hindu, Islam Christian. All paths lead to Rome. But after I received a Blessing from this Christian pastor 5 years ago it changed everything for me. It was like this veil was lifted off my eyes and my soul. I felt Gods love for the first time and it was so incredible. God does exist and you can find Him in Jesus. Since then I havnt looked back. I dumped all my Hindu idols in the garbage. They are worthless.

What people of other nations and of those nation's established culture and system of beliefs don't realize,,,is that the deity or deities they're worshipping, may in fact be "fallen angels" which disguised themselves as light, portraying the outward characteristics of a benevolent being in order to have as many people as possible deceived, and to be worshipped by them!! Once they've been cast out, they watched over the affairs of mankind, until they decided to intermingle with mortal women since they found them to be beautiful and easy prey nonetheless, giving birth to GIANTS as their offspring, called "Nephilim" which was an abomination onto God, along with every other sinful deeds the fallen angels began to teach humans! Thus, man was taught how to make weapons of War, they taught Man alchemy, chemistry, witchcraft, astrology, exorcisms etc!! With so much knowledge and divine wisdom having been revealed to mankind, soon Man started Wars, fierce competition and rivalry amongst themselves often giving birth to deep resentment towards the adversary, where it could lead to hatred and ultimately MURDER!!!

Paul converts from being a Christian ‘terminator’ to devoting his whole life for Christ after 1 spiritual encounter with the risen Christ and never looked back. Furthermore, you had the disciples hiding out of fear yet with the an encounter with Holy Spirit they fear no death. I agree with you in that it’s not 100% evidence. @King Amen-Tut-Ankh original sin isn't what people think it is. If a baby dies it goes right to Jesus it doesn't go to hell because of the original sin. Catholics just pushed the whole you have to get your baby baptized at birth thing because they wanted to indoctrinate people early on and get them sucked into that cult. The Bible is clear that baptism happens when the person is old enough to truly repent and turn their life over to God. The original sin is actually the corruption of the world around us that leads us to do things that hurt ourselves and others. Like for instance if your father or grandfather were alcoholics then there's a likelihood that you could become an alcoholic. And that could ruin your life therefore it is sin. That sin was passed down to you from your forefathers. That is what God is talking about when He warns us that sin is passed down from generation to generation. The mistakes that those who come before us make will inevitably affect us in the future. But if someone loves and fears the one true God they are passing on good things to their offspring. Unfortunately we are all filthy rags and so we all inevitably pass on something wrong to our children. Adam and Eve in the beginning knew no sin and so they were not going to pass anything evil down to their offspring. That is until they corrupted themselves by wanting to know about technology and all the things that would cause them to not need God as much. When we are completely dependent on God that is when we are at our best. When we think we can do it ourselves that is when we are at our worst.

I have an honest question for atheists: when you say that there is no evidence for God, what evidence are you talking about? what evidence are you not seeing that causes your disbelief. I'm not talking about seeing God face to face but rather, evidence. Thanks
I'll answer that question, what type of evidence qualifies as evidence and what does not qualify, to the Atheist.
The Christian has a story about Jesus of Christianity. It's about the context of the story. Did the story come from human writers of religious fiction or did it come from what a God of the Universe actually did do.
Consider that Jesus of Christianity was born someplace close to Judea around 30 years before the claims of the resurrection. How did Jesus of Christianity know, just knew, that the Roman Empire military would have Judea under military occupation when Jesus grew into adulthood? That means that Jesus of Christianity had some influence on the Roman Empire political and military leadership to have the Roman Empire military occupy the area at just the right time. Then Jesus of Christianity has to own that he caused the torture and killing of the people of Judea. That lowers the ethical and moral Jesus of Christianity a little bit.
The context is that if Jesus of Christianity is a character of human writers of religious fiction, then Jesus had nothing to do with the torture and killing of the people of Judea. If a the context of Jesus of Christianity is a God of the Universe, and tries to claim some moral and ethical high ground, then that just doesn't make sense.
The story of Jesus of Christianity's birth is just a story added on by human writers of religious fiction if Jesus is a character of religious fiction. If Jesus of Christianity is a God of the Universe, then it is evidence of the co-conspiracy to commit the murder of the people in Judea.
There is also the context of the story of the Resurrection. I consider the Ascension into heaven of Jesus of Christianity to be the most telling of the whole story. If Jesus of Christianity is just a character of human created fiction, then his ascension into heaven is just part of a story. If Jesus of Christianity is a God of the Universe, then it was the abandonment of the people of Judea to the Roman Empire military to be tortured and killed. To which the God of the Universe brought about for the Gods torture quest.
Why would a God of the Universe bring a torture and killing military to Judea? What if Jesus of Christianity had brought books and Education. Brought health care and medicines. Brought Science and research about the natural world. Brought good government.
Many people who were looking for circuses from a God of the Universe would have been disappointed. There is an element of sadomasochism in humans that just wants to see a display of torture every once in a while. Read the stories of the gods in the Ancient Greek and Ancient Roman literature. Humans like to see the Gods suffer for them.
That was the conclusion of the many of the Philosophers of the Age of Enlightenment. Thomas Jefferson thought that Jesus was a good person and religious writers just changed his story thru religious fiction tales.
I'm an Atheist not because of the knowledge of Science, but because of some knowledge of Mythical stories, many from the Ancient world.

What do we do with miracles in the modern age? if someone is driving drunk and uses the defense in their trial, that they prayed to Jesus to protect them and anybody else's car on the road from harm, would you believe it? How about murder? If someone said that god told them to kill someone, would you believe them? Isn't there reasonable doubt?
Also, when I go into restaurants, there is a sign in the bathroom that says, 'Employees must wash their hands.' Would it be okay to put up a sign, 'Don't bother to wash your hands, just pray to Jesus.' Would that be okay? State governments test restaurants to keep the hot foods hot and the cold foods cold. Is it okay to stop doing that if the restaurant promises to pray to Jesus to keep everybody safe?
When the Federal Aeronautical Administration investigates a plane crash, they don't add up the number of Christians that deserved to live and subtract the number of atheists who deserved to die to get some spiritual belief number. The higher the number, the more likely god would fix whatever was wrong with the plane. Does prayer work? They generally investigate according to 'Nature's God' as written in the Declaration of Independence of the United States that Thomas Jefferson wrote. Not Christianity's super natural god.

He couldn't announce during His life, that His crucifixion would atone for the sins of mankind or satan wouldn't have crucified Him. In the New Testament it says:

But there are many scriptures in the New Testament which confirm the Old Testament prophecies that His death paid for our sins.

Going to hell means one thing; God was not chosen. Accepting Christ as our Lord and saviour---believing in our hearts and professing with our mouths---is how to enter the kingdom of heaven. We have the free will to make a decision. That being to either follow Christ and accept him into your life, or to not. Going to hell means that we have abandoned God, not the other way around. Each god has a different origin story with various concepts and huge time differences . I would mention only a few dieties to explain the versatality of the then people's beliefs .
When the first people knew that they needed some basic requirements to live( from nature) . The five elemental forces became gods - Bhoomi vaayu agni varuna aakash
When they decided that all humans are created by a specific someone , came the Brahman
When they thought someone was responsible for all their live force , came Vishnu
When they believed a destroyer would rid them of all evils, came shiva
When they valued their wealth and beauty , came lakshmi
When they benifitted hugely from a cow , it was made a god , a mother literally , calling her Gho-maatha

Many more gods were formed . Some from stories without definite proof of existance . Yet they are considered as gods because of their stories , that all lead the basic principles of living as mentioned in the great books .
As from my sources , The number 330 million refers to the ' samastha jeeva koti ' which translates to ‘every living being ' including all animals . It was an estimation by the then people . This concept was made probably to show/teach that god exists in each and everyone of us . Irrespective of cast , creed , colour , culture etc,. That god is ourself montoring our kartha karma kriya or simply our every day doings and duties .
If i had to state it shortly . I'd say , the hindu gods were all born from Ideaologies . where anyone worthy would be considered a god even if its a demonic kid or a hundred feet long king cobra or a mutant half lion or a simple plain dwarf human .

Most people don’t have a full/accurate understanding of any religion. Examples:
although the Vedas were written over 5,000 years ago & known well before that, all major religions/major sciences stemmed from Vedas. Buddha, Christ were 1st mentioned there, as was all math, oldest histories, other planets, Relativity, etc. It also gave the socio-economic system that dominated/thrived all over (spiritually centered merit based system) BEFORE it was corrupted into a birth-based caste system. ALL life was respected with compassion (killing animals were allowed in rare, unavoidable situations, especially with minimal suffering to the animal). Vedic teachings share the same core teachings as the Bible (like having 1 supreme personal God) but because Vedas are so detailed & allow variations for people who are less good/truthful, it ALSO mentions God with his impersonal energy aspect (Brahman) and many “Gods” (AKA angels) and people misunderstand. Vedic shape/age of Earth is confirmed by modern science, but they have their own more detailed/advanced/accurate model of creation/evolution.

@Joanna C I've already studied this carefully for years. the Vedic calendar mentions the Earth being created and recreated every 4.3 billion years (modern science dates the Earth as nearly that old).
there's also tons of things the Vedas mentions and the details, locations, and dates of those things match up with modern scientific findings...and those things are thousands or millions of years old...meaning the authors either had divine sight or were around during those ancient times or both.
I gave only 1 example with limited citations in the description of the vid i linked in my last comment...but why not see that? why make up (seemingly) false claims without evidence? are you open to changing to your mind?

Frank Turek, you were raised in a Catholic home. What are your thoughts about the Holy Eucharist? Given that there have been hundreds of Eucharistic miracles where the Holy Eucharist has turned to heart tissue and blood.
One thing that I always found fascinating was the historical and cultural fact that prior to the covenant between GOD and man, is the concept that every other pagan religion accepts the existence of the other gods along with their own. That is to say, there was no doubt that there were gods, but it was never a question if the others existed or not. It was only a matter of "whose gods were stronger." It is for this reason (among many others) that distinguishes from those pagan false gods with the ONE TRUE GOD of Abraham in that the one true GOD rejects that notion of other deities completely--given that the others are false gods (demons, fallen angels, ghost, completely fabricated by those seeking power to exploit the ignorant--what the left does, etc) regardless of their origins, they are false gods. So, contrary to what secularist claim--those other tribal pagan religions did not recruit others initially into believing their gods over others. It happen as a matter of conquest--(which is why blood sports were deemed to please and favor the gods, But I digress). So, if one's gods failed to protect them or grant them victory over others--then they were not as strong, and therefore abandon for those gods that were stronger. Every culture/tribe did this in the both the prehistoric and ancient worlds--all except one tribe...the tribe of Israel. Despite their hardships (most were self inflicted) they remained true--and is the ONLY ancient religion still practiced to this day. Sure, that you may have a few primitive tribes, but most of those survived out of seclusion from the others (out of fear) and failed to develop beyond the spear or bow/arrows. But I digress. The point being, that the answer becomes apparent, as do the historical lessons in the Bible (old and new testament) in how we get from the Garden of Eden to now--the long journey back to GOD, an epic redemption story of humanity who out of ignorance, envy, and pride were manipulated into disobeying GOD, and GOD'S efforts to save humanity from itself. If it took so long, it was only because it took us that long to understand what GOD was doing for us and why. Which we now have the choice of accepting or rejecting the message of salvation and his word--which is the divine and universal truth that will not only save us, but set our soul free from the shackles of the fallen world.
You won't have other Gods before me, and other sentences in the Bible show pretty clearly that the Jews believed there were other Gods, but their God was stronger... Same old, same old.
I would have mentioned that Jesus isn’t 2,000 years old but eternally years old and shown the scriptural evidence for it. His first coming would’ve been the first incarnation but not the beginning His existence overall.

I wish the brother emphasized more on the resurrection. I think dead guys that comeback to life are credible, especially if he predicted his own death and resurrection. I believe that gentlemen left unsatisfied with the answer, one of the biggest differences of Jesus to other gods is that he died and came back to life. No other worldview can claim their teacher died and lived again through a resurrection after 3days, and he himself predicted this. At least to my known knowledge.

99% of witnesses today who testify to have encountered GOD, always does so through Jesus. Why are this argument not used to prove Christianity and that Jesus Christ is God? Therefore the Bible is true and people should do all they can to follow it... People say you cant prove anything from a witness, well if 99% of the experience of encountering God is through Jesus, you can. Because the testimony are either true or false, if its true, it happen and if its happen Jesus Christ is Lord as people witness. If the testimonies are false, the person are either lieing, hallucinating or having some brainmalfunction, so they believe to have seen something that is not there. Bouth those two things are not probable. If in our reality permitted in general that people lied about something they believe in or hallucinated so strongly that they believe to have met GOD. So if humans had a tendency to do this (lie and hallucinate about God) and all testimonies of encountering Jesus Christ was not real and testimonies could therefore not be shown to who is God. WHY are there no other testimonies of first eye witnesses living today of encountering other gods?

People from pretty much all those religions claim to have met their god and to have spoken with their god/gods. It is an absolute wrong “fact” that nobody from another religion than Christianity have had personal experiences. It’s just wrong - and VERY ignorant. People have seen Allah, Vishnu, Odin ect. So many people say so many different things.
I am not saying that people are crazy. It’s normal for people to see all kinds of things like ghosts, spirits, monsters, ufo’s, angels ect. and a lot of those things are conflicting. You cannot trust human senses because they are easilly manipulated.
Now that you know that there actually are plenty of people who have seen different gods, spoken with then ect. it should be apparent, that one shouldn’t trust personal experiences because doing so would make clearly conflicting ideas and realities both true - which ik itself is impossible.

I understand you that you are confused, but I tell you, Christ is indeed real and he loves you, even if you are unbeliever. I dont know if the other gods would freed your addiction, I dont know if the other gods would give you conviction of sins, I dont know if the other gods would change the desires of your heart from sinning to doing righteousness. But, in my experience, through Christ, you will get conviction of sins, your addiction will be easily fade away, your heart will thirst for righteousness.

This horrible, vengeful, blood thirsty, and whatever else God argument you and almost every athiest make is understandable through the fact that you are trying to disprove the existence of God, but it also shows that you have been too lazy to read the whole Bible from beginning to end to come to a valid conclusion on why he did or didn't do certain things. Then how much of a help would it be to do faith healing be? This tells people that human disease is a supernatural event prevented and cured by a super natural event. Humans needed knowledge of natural means of preventing disease. To stop the bubonic plague, people have to know about bacteria on top of fleas on top of rats, clean out your houses of crap, burn you dirty clothes, wash everything regularly. But people continued to die to the bubonic plague. People needed real information against disease, not religious fiction stories.
JESUS resurrected from the dead to a body that doubting Thomas put his hand upon, saw HIM physically and the Apostles ate with HIM as well!!! The problem with this type of questions on if Jesus is the one or not is that PEOPLE REALLY WANT TO KNOW but will not take the time to really study why is real and just want a quick answer and that is not possible. I am grateful to say that I am a born again Christian and have been since I was 19.......folks if you don’t know Christ as your savior then it burdens my soul to think that you are headed for a terrible place called Hell where the Bible says the fire is never quenched and the worm dies not! Surely you have heard that in Romans 5:12 it says through one man sin entered the entire world! But then God sent his only son to live an absolute sinless and perfect life and the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:21 He who knew no sin became Sin for us that we would be made his righteousness! The Bible says in 1 John 2:2 he was made to be the propitiation for our sins! And not just for our sins but the sins of the whole world! This means you cannot be good enough to earn your way into Heaven and Christ clearly said in John 14:6 I am the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the father but through me! Acts 4:12 clearly states that there is no other name given unto Heaven or earth by which we must be saved as there is salvation in no other! Jesus clearly states that there is clearly only one way to Salvation and it’s him that’s it! There is no other way! He bled and died a terrible criminal’s death that he clearly did not deserve but we deserved! God owes us absolutely nothing except death and eternal endless suffering in a burning hell! But he made a way possible so that we can be forgiven for our sins and offenses against him! And if all we do is accept that payment he made on that cruel cross for our sins then we can have our sins forever forgiven and forever escape the wrath of God that is to be poured out upon those who refuse the atonement and finished work of Christ!
