Is the shock oil in the kraton 8s exb the same? Instruction says 700cst but in one step there's 500cst pictured on the bottle?!

I have the red shocks, and I can’t remove the cap at all, what should I do

Wish mine came apart like that, had to get pipe grips on body. Shock failed on first outing, pushed bladder out of the small hole at top of shock. No big jumps as first time with a car this size. Thought it’d be tougher.

On my brand new 8s I went into my shocks to service them and on two of them the bladders were ripped 😔! Wasn’t very happy and think QC should have a second over.

Hi. Are the Kraton 8s shock bladders the same as in 1/5 Kraton 8s exb?

You used this video as a tutorial and that's the problem. Find another tutorial that shows how its done correctly.

Love the beefy shock towers. Are those plastic shock caps?

They are the same, all gas/oil shocks should be rebuilt the same way. This tutorial sucks though so please don use this video as a how to. He shows you how to do it incorrectly.
