I had a 2016 SHO PP, It was dream car for me. Very fast and lots of options. That’s not the first generation Sync. That’s the third. You’re in the performance package. It’s the only one that had the suede-like inserts in the seats. The seat were so comfortable in back because it had “stadium seating”. You were higher up than the driver and got a good view of the road. Passengers loved that. It also had an oil cooler. The SHO PP was a beast. You could take this thing to the track and run it max all day and it never went into limp home mode. You’re standing before the very top of the line SHO and don’t even know it. I will give you one warning. At 80k miles the gasket in the coolant pump MUST be replaced and it is four-figure expensive. The engine has to be pulled to get to it. There is no warning. When it breaks, it dumps all the coolant on the pavement and you are left there smoking with no more engine. Beware of any high mileage SHO without documented maintenance.
I kept my 2018 SEL just got a 2017 SHO 45k miles....talk about this is a GEM. And when I do the upgrades this bad boy is going catch alot off folks of guard. Already went through the stage of the water pump going bad and changing the timing chain so I'm expect it on this SHO too when or if it happens
@@jeff47Nick congrats! Are you thinking about a Livernois kit? Get used to two things: everyone slowing down when they see you in their view mirror. 450hp is him being overly generous. To get 450hp crank it requires quite a few upgrades. We’re talking intake, spark plugs, map sensor, down pipes, and intercooler with a good tune. About 2200-2500 bucks but it’ll fly.

450hp from only a tune? I have a Livernois T460 package among other mods and an aggressive tune and I’ll be lucky if I’m pushing that to the wheels
usually people tune, colder thermostats, spark plugs, and intake
