Great acting, brought a tear to me eye. I love it when Andy says to Robert to take care of Aaron as he makes Robert a better person. It's so true and he defo loves Aaron.
I love that Andy and Robert made up and love each other as brothers. Sad to see Kelvin quit but I understand it. 20 years in the same job must be boring for an actor. Sure Kelvin is rich off of working at Emmerdale for so long.
Andrew Simpson I reckon he's on paternity leave (I heard he had a baby recently) and they probably wouldn't bother dragging out this the whites vs Sugdens thing with Robert trying to clear Andy's name for so long if it was going nowhere or if there was not going to be a significant resolve. That's my thoughts but guess we'll see!
Heartbreaking. Seeing the Sugden boys finally put their differences aside and call eachother "brother" again was amazing to see. It was the perfect ending for them. You could tell Robert was struggling to contain his emotions. He's usually so guarded in his feelings but there was a flash of vulnerability in his eyes just after he told Andy he always loved him underneath. It was like the reality of the situation was finally hitting him - he was saying goodbye to his only brother and it was tough for him. There was a moment during their embrace where you could see he didn't want to let Andy go and when they pulled away from eachother, you could see a little part of Robert was broken. Ryan and Kelvin transcended beyond acting in that moment - it just felt so real and it was incredible to watch.
Yes, they are a formidable pair, even Andy acknowledges that fact. Of course, Chrissie storyline will bring trouble in their love nest, but surely A&R will prevail.

I am old enough to remember when Andy first appeared on Emmerdale as the little boy who was in a children's home visiting the farm with the other children in care when him and Robert first met and became as thick as thieves. I came across on youtube Andy not wanting to go back to the children 's home saying to Robert's parents "I want a mom and dad, a brother like Robert and a little sister like Victoria, I want to stay here." I think he hashould been the best child actor on the show (he certainly had the toughest scenes to play). Glad it has ended that the brothers have finally reconciled but Emmerdale just won't be the same without Andy in it.

Aww, I'm actually gutted he's gone. Out of all the relationships on Emmerdale, I think Robert and Andy's has probably been the most epic one for me. I grew up watching them and always thought Kelvin was brilliant in the emotional scenes. Will miss him, hope he'll be back before too long!
Thinking about it (apart from scenes hetween Jack and Andy) the most touching scenes through the decades in Emmerdale have usually been between Andy and Robert. They have been as rare as Hayleys commett but always pull at your heartstrings. Andy and Robert at their dad's funeral, know one else saw Robert but Andy and when Jack sugden kids Victoria and Daz (Andy's brother who Jack wanted to adopt) thought Robert did not care Andy said he is thinking of us, I know Robert. The first chicken race, yes Robert caused the crash but he chose to save Andy and not Max. That's it with them two, they are 2 different sides of same coin. If Andy leaves it had to be Robert included in it

I see now everybody loves Andy again :) It´s a little bit hilarious to see how people keep changing views as fast as the story of the week demands. Anyway I think he´ll come back eventually. These were great scenes, usual from Emmerdale.
You know I've never cared much either way for Andy but even I was welling up. It's truly an end of era and this goodbye between Robert & Andy was so well done & soooo needed.
Aaron Fan Great scenes as always. ED keeps being best soap imo regardless. Lately it´s been a little bit too choppy imo though. This ending was needed for them, but let´s just say many things from a few months ago were not leading up to this. And well I´ve never cared much about Andy either (or Robert for that matter until his interest for Aaron), but I know his history is big. It´s always moving when it comes to these occasions. Best exit I´ve ever seen has to be Val´s though :)

Some don't seem to be the usually ones that comment here regular and have actually watched Emmerdale for a long time before Aaron came out and Robert came back. I found it previously hilarious at some of the comments towards Andy because some are just Robron fans or Robert fans so if Robert does not like someone or someone shows disdain for Robert (which Andy rightfully did a lot) they became enemy number one. Kelvin has been given the most tough storylines over the years because he is the best actor on the show. TBH I can't be bothered with Emmerdale now Andy has gone, to me there are no real Sugdens left on the show and no one farms (accept Moira) so I don't get Emmerdale (Farm ) anymore.
