I had to constantly stop and replay parts of the video because it was just too amazing! I love Aaron and Adam's friendship, I love Arron and Robert's relationship and Charity is just a funny character. MORE PLEASE!
Loved all of Aaron, Robert and Adam's scenes in this episode. Seeing Aaron and Robert being so open and affectionate with eachother was sweet and the fact that identifying one another as "boyfriend" comes so naturally and easy for them. Aaron's scenes with Adam were brilliant also - loved the banter and teasing between them - some things never change!
I love the contrast between Adam's cute exuberance and Aaron's grudging amusement. They are the sweetest bffs I've ever seen. Aaron trying to explain what he and Robert were doing in the shower was just hilarious. Also he looks very nice in that black hoodie...
That Robron kiss sounded so sweet and juicy:)Aaron is so cute talking with Adam kinda hinting he wants to get a place with his bf and they are such good mates always nice to see Aaron smiling and happy:)
Seriously, at this point in Aaron & Rob's relationship I love the PDA between them. And Charity is too funny. I always love Aaron & Adam banter. One of the best bromances out there. They can be so hilarious when they are together. And to hear Aaron us the 'B' word when talking about Rob is so awesome!
Aww Aaron and Adam banter is always great and pleasant. One of my biggest complaints in the last year. We´ve got sooo little of that. And there have been stories that could have provided us with more of them. Such friendship is so beautiful to see.
Bryce Thompson LOL that psycho shower scene remark made me laugh. I didn´t know about an upcoming shower scene untill all these people started to talk about it in some of the new videos this week. Somehow being Emmerdfale I knew they were going to be disappointed. And damn... it just didn´t even happen. Can you imagine ED doing some type of Hollyoaks Later miniseries where Robert loses it and tries to kill Aaron in the shower paying homage to the Psycho film? Graphic scenes and all :) Only that Aaron survives of course!
awww bless, Robert is so disappointed that Aaron won't go back upstairs to continue where they left off and then cracking banter between Aaron & Adam and a brilliant idea of Aaron's to move in together properly and all topped off with a little kiss from Adam! Just imagine if Adam did try to experiment with his sexuality with those two phwoooaaarrr. Perfect episode (apart from the Chrissie bit yeeuukkk)
Just shows how the word has changed and it great a gay man can talk to his best friend about his relationship just as a straight couplkcouplke would love emmerdale and love there bromance....
So much to love here. I just love Charity's banter, and seeing Aaron and Adam like this kinda feels like old times :) Chrissie seems to be heading for a major breakdown..
Chrissie will be ok, she has Andy. If any character on a soap understands that you don't have to be biologically related to have a fantastic dad it is him. He has done well so far with both Lawrence and Chrissie.
I'm sure Chrissie loves Lawrence as a dad and he's been good to her, but it's just that everything she's ever known has been and is being ripped to pieces in such a short space of time.. I bet she's feeling completely lost, and I don't know how anyone would be able to keep their head together forever in a situation like this. But I won't say any more on the matter as I've read spoilers..
sailawaysweetsis shhhhhhhh. I have read the spoilers too but this is not a spoiler, She has Andy and Andy in the longgggggg run will get her through.this (what does that say that even though Andy has been sectioned time and again for mental illness and I am still pleased she is with him over the brother). Every character goes through melt downs and maybe she needs to appreciate how life is without money
She's got Andy now, but for how long.. I just worry she'll go on another rampage. Anyway, the fact that Andy's received treatment can make him better at helping someone else going through a hard time as he knows what it's like and what the other person might need :)
Nah, Emmerdale is too conservative for that. Also, both actors are straight so it would probably be too uncomfortable for them :( I still remember Danny Miller saying he was uncomfortable with playing a gay character.
That was in like, 2009? 2010? When he said something like that if we're thinking of the same article. Around the time Aaron was first coming out. I took it as him being more nervous about it than not wanting to play a gay character.
With Emmerdale being a daytime soap I guess they are prohibited from doing an intimate shower scene which makes me wonder why they don't make a big screen feature based on their affair or similar which I think would be a big hit on the LGBT network.
LOL, it's so lame that they didn't include the shower scene. I understand that they couldn't show much, and I know Emmerdale is a conservative soap, but I still expected more than what we saw. Other soaps have been more explicit both with gay kissing and gay sex scenes, even soaps that are pre-watershed like Emmerdale.
I've seen you mentioning Billy & Todd in other comments, and while I love Billy & Todd to pieces (literally been shipping them for months, I never thought it'd happen) I think its hard to compare them to Robron due to the time they've been together. At the start, we had more passionate scenes, even Robert topless etc. But now they're actually in a relationship, so yes, while it'd be absolutely brilliant for them to be passionate all the time, it wouldn't be entierly realistic because they're in a (mostly) settled relationship. It's what happens after a while. The passion changes. Billy & Todd have literally only just got together, and it's the honeymoon phase where everything is still new and urgent. Perhaps compare them when the excitement has died down a bit. But here, the pivotal part of the start scene was that Aaron left, leaving Robert to wait till later where they're interrupted by the police. That was only possible by having them downstairs and dressed. They won't throw scenes in just to make shippers happy because the script editor has to be conservative of time. Literally every second counts when there's other storylines to develop within a 20-minute show (without ads). I've studied screenwriting at University, and trust me, fitting everything you want into an episode is difficult, especially when you want to add so much more. Additionally, it's influenced by the audience. Hollyoaks, for example, is for teenagers and 'young people', meaning all characters are more on each other. I don't know what you mean about being "more explicit", though, because even straight couples usually settle into pecks, unless the storyline calls for more, and in Emmerdale seeing any couple in bed without reason is rare. And I'm not sure what you mean about being "conservative". Unlike in other soaps, we've seen Robron given actual character development and stories, opposed to being used as vehicles for other storylines and characters.
Sophie McCann sorry Sophie, but I mostly disagree with what you're saying. Even in Robron's "honeymoon phase" aka when they had the affair Robron were never as passionate as Todd & Billy are now. I don't remember Robert & Aaron kissing with open mouths and even borderline tongue the way Todd & Billy are now. Robron have ALWAYS just had short and lame pecks on the mouth. I remember Danny Miller (Aaron) saying he was uncomfortable playing a gay character and it shows in his scenes, especially the kissing scenes. He is very very tightlipped. I think Ryan Hawley (Robert) does a better job with the kissing. I love Danny Miller's acting, he deserves all the awards he's getting, but he is much better in the big emotional scenes than he's ever been in his gay scenes, whether with Robert, Jackson, or even his first kiss with Adam back in the day. So yeah.. again, this is just my own opinion, and I realize that they are in different stages of their relationships, it's all new and exciting for Todd & Billy while it's more settled for Robert and Aaron, but comparing Todd & Billy now to Robron in the beginning, there's a definite difference, at least I think so. The kisses, touches and lingering looks have all been done much better on Corrie. It was severly lacking even from the beginning stages of the Robron relationship. About the shower scene, the police were not there after they got out from the shower, the police came later, so that point is moot. Again, I didn't expect much. I know Emmerdale is a family soap, I know it's probably THE most conservative soap (it's pretty obvious) and I know it's pre-watershed. I did expect more than what we saw though. I figured Charity would have opened the door to the bathroom, have a shocked look on her face, then Robert and Aaron running downstairs half clothed or fully clothed with wet hair. That would not have been too raunchy, it would have been acceptable and it would have made it realistic. They didn't even have to show them together in the shower ffs. Honestly, I don't even understand why they'd bother with the off screen shower scene at all. I have a feeling the "shower scene" in itself wasn't the point, the point was getting caught leading Aaron to asking Robert if they should get their own place. But then they could have done it a different way. Either show them being wet after the shower (clothed with wet hair would have been fine), or don't bother with a shower scene at all if they can't do it realistic. They should have just found another way leading up to Aaron asking Robert to move in together, no "shower scene" would have been better than what we got. All of it happening off screen made no sense whatsoever, and it just made the whole scene very confusing and badly written. I know Hollyoaks is after watershed, and it's aimed at a different demographic, which is why I haven't even used Hollyoaks as an example. I'm talking Corrie vs Emmerdale, they are on the same network, ITV and both are pre-watershed, which is why I find comparing them much more useful. When I say "conservative" I mean that we barely see any kissing on Emmerdale, and all the kissing we get are lame pecks, nothing at all like Todd & Billy fully making out, with open mouths, for several seconds. Emmerdale has never shown anything like that, not even in the beginning of the Robron relationship. It's pretty clear Emmerdale is THE most conservative soap on British tv, because of the tame sex scenes and very tame kissing. There's a small, but yet huge, difference in the way they show gay couples on Corrie compared to Emmerdale. On Corrie it's all about the touches, the lingering looks, and yes, the snogging is much much better than what we've ever seen from Robron on Emmerdale. Even when Todd was with Marcus we could see them fully snogging on the sofa, one was shirtless and the other was almost shirtless (his shirt was open and you could fully see his torso). So again, yes, although Corrie is not as "raunchy" as Hollyoaks, it is better and less conservative than Emmerdale. The sex scenes are more realistic, as is the snogging, sorry just my opinion.
Sophie McCann I also disagree Tracy and David get romantic scenes as do Chrissie and Andy. Aaron and Robert because they are gay men do NOT get romance. Even on Eastenders before paul died he and Ben had intimacy. Intimacy is the problem here no hand holding barely kissing. It is not even kissing just two straight actors sp uncomfortable kissing another man their mouths are closed. Emmerdale is really homophobic compared to the other British soaps.
valdes1forever It is like a little bodily movement. Adam means that he can always sense Aaron's discomfort or worry but the fact he has this thing when he moves his jaw/face. I hope this helps :)
That Adam and Aaron scene was refreshing!! We need more!
I have missed seeing Aaron and Adam and their banter and friendship... now that is worth watching
We´ve got too little of that. They should have showed more of that during teh rape story. Glad we got this. It´s so pleasant to watch.
Aaron trying to explain what they were doing cracks me up 😂
all the warm fuzzy feelings when aaron calls robert his boyfriend. i'm such a sap.
Adam and Aaron are so cute, Aaron is lucky to have such a good friend!!
So lucky. He wouldn´t have survived without him and Paddy.
I had to constantly stop and replay parts of the video because it was just too amazing! I love Aaron and Adam's friendship, I love Arron and Robert's relationship and Charity is just a funny character. MORE PLEASE!
adam and aaron have such a natural friendship, i always end up giggling when the two of them chat
I really love that we're at the stage where it isn't a big deal calling Robert Aaron's boyfriend ;)
Lol... I love Adam's and Aaron interaction. It is a breath of fresh air to see joyfulness to Aaron and his surroundings.
#FRIENDSHIP
Loved all of Aaron, Robert and Adam's scenes in this episode. Seeing Aaron and Robert being so open and affectionate with eachother was sweet and the fact that identifying one another as "boyfriend" comes so naturally and easy for them. Aaron's scenes with Adam were brilliant also - loved the banter and teasing between them - some things never change!
OMG they're backs and they're kissing omg what's happening thank you Lord for this beautiful gift... Oh and Aaron even smiled a little.
I love the contrast between Adam's cute exuberance and Aaron's grudging amusement. They are the sweetest bffs I've ever seen. Aaron trying to explain what he and Robert were doing in the shower was just hilarious. Also he looks very nice in that black hoodie...
I missed them SOOOOOOOOOOOO much
i keep replaying the 'Hes me boyfriend' bit
I just can't with them
I bet Aaron did a camera check the next time they were alone in their bedroom..lmao😂😂😂😂😂
Love Adam's humour in this episode, proving he supports his best mate being gay.
Aaron and Adam's friendship is everything!!
Aaron is about to asked Robert if they want to get a place together. That's a big step in Aaron department. CUTE!
Oh my god, my little heart can't handle these playful and precious moments after such a long Robron drought.
Adam is such an adorable dork!
I love love Adam. He's a loyal friend to both Aaron and Robert.
That Robron kiss sounded so sweet and juicy:)Aaron is so cute talking with Adam kinda hinting he wants to get a place with his bf and they are such good mates always nice to see Aaron smiling and happy:)
I love this! I can't remember Aaron ever looking so happy. :D
I loved all of this. Aaron is so scrumptious. Robert is beautiful. Adam and Aaron's friendship is amazing.
Robron drought is finally over! Please Emmerdale, in the future no more 5 weeks breaks, they are too hard to handle.
There's so much I wanna say about these Robron and Adam and Aaron scenes, but.. They're just so adorable makes my heart melt ❤️
Aww Aaron and Adam banter is always great and pleasant. One of my biggest complaints in the last year. We´ve got sooo little of that. And there have been stories that could have provided us with more of them. Such friendship is so beautiful to see.
Agree! Aaron and Robert not. Going to have to find another soap with a "gay" couple I can cheer!
At least the writers, this time, spared me the psycho shower scene.
So much bile AGAIN. Hope you stick to your plan and drift off to greener pastures. Happy hunting for that ideal couple.
Bryce Thompson LOL that psycho shower scene remark made me laugh. I didn´t know about an upcoming shower scene untill all these people started to talk about it in some of the new videos this week. Suggestion: Todd and Billy on Corrie, better kissing too :)
FINALLY! THANK GOD! I've missed Aaron.
Best video ever!!! No angst, just fun!!
So I needed to catch up with these episodes....I'm so glad I did, damn this really made my day
i love the way aaron's hands fly up in the kiss like he needs rob to ground him
awww bless, Robert is so disappointed that Aaron won't go back upstairs to continue where they left off and then cracking banter between Aaron & Adam and a brilliant idea of Aaron's to move in together properly and all topped off with a little kiss from Adam! Just imagine if Adam did try to experiment with his sexuality with those two phwoooaaarrr.
Perfect episode (apart from the Chrissie bit yeeuukkk)
When Aaron called Robert his boyfriend I died
this is my favorite video ever
Thank you so much for uploading this been patiently waiting for the Aaron & Robert notification! Much needed :)
Just shows how the word has changed and it great a gay man can talk to his best friend about his relationship just as a straight couplkcouplke would love emmerdale and love there bromance....

sailawaysweetsis agree and who knows
I really love Aaron that I like the way he moves too =)))
the toaster going off when charity talks about the nanny cam...... heheheh!!!
Andy's face at 3.14 made me laugh. That is the look of someone who knows there is trouble brewing and can't do a thing to stop it
LOL yes.
Hahaha! The scenes with Adam and Aaron were great. But aren't we missing a scene? :-)
now im jealous of charity.. if i where there living with those two i couldn't stop seeing... everything.
Oh so no actual shower scene then?
Only thing you we see between these two is an occasional kiss, and that's all.'
Thank God!
Nah, Emmerdale is too conservative for that. Also, both actors are straight so it would probably be too uncomfortable for them :( I still remember Danny Miller saying he was uncomfortable with playing a gay character.
OMG! Shut up! Geez

the little shhh gets to me
Seeing this makes me miss Bartsy so much
There should be Adam and Aaron videos as well as these ones
Has anyone else noticed that Aaron is wearing so much hair gel lately??
Adam is definitely a man magnet.
Random question- what were Aaron and Adam eating while they talked? Couldn't figure it out.
Someone needs to give Chrissie an aware for outstanding whining.
Sorry, reward.
FFS, award lol.
0:00-2:31 is just amazing!! hilarious! :D
With Emmerdale being a daytime soap I guess they are prohibited from doing an intimate shower scene which makes me wonder why they don't make a big screen feature based on their affair or similar which I think would be a big hit on the LGBT network.
Aaron and Robert hot kiss love Nicola, xxxxxxxx
if Adam was gay would make a cute couple with aaron, aaron but already has his robert :D
I love Adam's accent. He was always so cute. Wish he'd lose the beard though.
I like him too. Even I think he should be gay to form a couple with Aaron lol
When Aaron was just realizing he's gay back in 2009 or so, I thought that was what the writers were going to do because Aaron had tried to kiss him.
yes

Chrissie's voice is so shrill, I can't stand it!
What does "twitch" mean?
valdes1forever It is like a little bodily movement. Adam means that he can always sense Aaron's discomfort or worry but the fact he has this thing when he moves his jaw/face. I hope this helps :)
I love that scene.
