I never knew this about Amazon. Thanks for the tip. This also often works on ebay. Put an item on your watch list and often times the seller will send an offer to you within a day or so.
I bought that stove year n half ago at $55. Good stove. They also had it on sale during amazon days last july!!! Amazon lowers stuff in my cart too when its in awhile!!
I LOVED my Coleman Fold N Go during my last years with Scouting! Got it at Big 5 and it was the last year they sold it. I regret selling it for our move to Alaska but it is what it is. A built in wind shield would've been nice but we made our own
Good research and nice advice. People are strapped for cash. Good man. Shame these are not available in the EU. Those 1lb bottles are a rare novelty item. That standard just isn’t used here. I have a standard cartridge stove and a Primus multifuel small camping stove that will even run on diesel post SHTF. You can purchase a rebuild kit for it. I got the old steel model at a discount for about $120. New ones run around $220. Great idea for a new series. You are doing a real service helping people prep with a limited budget. 😊
I have that Colman stove, I got a great deal years ago and it included the bag from Costco (under $50.00) the only draw back you need is a wind guard.... if there is no wind than it works fine..... my friends like the fact that you can use large frying pans or pots on both burners at the same time.
The genesis is used by backpackers in which space & weight are huge factors. Just like wen we were Harley riders, I paid more for a compact, foldable portable butane curling iron than a larger, heavier plug-in model.
thanks for answering my question from the prior Jet Boil review or can you save a bit to spend on some SILVER! lol and get the Colman especially if you have some other gas one type burners etc so it wont be heavily used. Please remit my Royalty to Salty Dog, thank you
I have three different size Coleman stoves. My father always used white gas instead of the Coleman fuel because it was cheaper. I truly haven’t run them on anything but Coleman fuel. Does anybody have experience with running the old-fashioned pump it up liquid fuel, stoves with anything other than the Coleman fuel itself? Jet fuel? K1? GASOLINE💥💥💥
Considering a full blown gas kitchen range and oven go for around 600, 3-400 for two burners sounds like I'd be bending over. If it's specifically really light and made for for conquering Mt Everest that's cool, but who cares in SHTF 😂 I personally have those outdoor burners for crab boils or frying a turkey, they can be picked up cheap on sale especially around the holidays.

Hi Rudy. I was wondering if there is an attachment to use a 20 lb tank instead of the 1lb propane bottle.

Growing up in 1960s and 1970s Coleman camping equipment was excellent and I still have my parents Coleman Camp stove from 1971.
The Fold and Go is now $85 from Amazon. You got a fantastic deal on yours, Rudy. 👍
Thanks for prepping on the cheaper items, my prep budget is small. I love little Lulu.
Thanks for the review! FYI for everybody, the black is cheaper than the red.
I put things in my cart on Amazon and other sites like Walmart. They will lower the price or send you an email with coupon to use in a day or two.

Thank you for the comparison. Would it be sturdy enough to can on?
$85 on Amazon. Is there a wind guard -- invaluable under certain conditions.
That is a bargain my friend! TY for sharing!
can you test the burn time to melt snow so we can see the difference
Thank you, I appreciate the time you take to find and try this equipment.
