My advice to my younger self: Just because you are good at a subject in school, doesn’t mean it has to become your career. I did well in science, got a degree in chemistry and went to work in a lab. I never really enjoyed my job, and tried a few others before deciding that I was in the wrong place. I now split my time between English teaching and fitness coaching, and I love it.
@@cutetwirll Don’t worry, if you love it you’ll be fine. I never loved it, I just found it fairly easy (until I got to university!) and thought it was a sensible career choice. I always loved fitness, I used to research things like training plans and nutrition just for fun.
STEM jobs are corporate jobs. I got my PhD in chemistry because I loved thinking on the cutting edge and innovating. I quickly found that working as a chemist is just iterating on well established knowledge. Being innovative takes too long to justify the ROI. I also found that chemists, even PhDs, don’t make much money by doing chemistry but you sure will work a lot. If you want money you need to go into management where you can make good money and hate every minute of it unless you love writing emails, sitting in meetings, and navigating politics. I’m trying consulting now. Hopefully having flexibility and frequent change of scenery will make it more bearable. If you’re going to find satisfaction in STEM work you need to let go of the excitement of the cutting edge and find enjoyment in chasing profitability.
I'm currently just 18 years old, soon to be 19. But every single day I try and remind myself how immensely blessed I am for everything I have, especially my health. I've seen many around me who are so much less fortunate.. such as my father with heart failure and bad joints, and my mother who passed due to colon cancer. In my eyes, I might as well be the richest person in the planet in every way because of what I have, I have so many things to say thank you for that I can't even comprehend it. It's overwhelming really, and I always feel so guilty for complaining about anything, then realizing just how much I have. I know I don't understand very much of anything, but I'm trying my hardest to appreciate what I have right now, I know I won't always have it.
I get the whole feeling guilty about complaining when you have a great life. But I also think that everybody has their burden to bear, some bigger, some smaller, and perceived different by every single person. And I think it is fine to get some frustration out of your system and complain about some things that are going on. The important step is to then see the big picture. Yes, I am facing a struggle right now, but I am fortunate enough to have all the tools I need to make it through it ❤ all the best to you
You're right about appreciation of life. I know i always appreciated it but i was diagnosed with leukemia at the start this year at the age of 25. The amount of appreciation will still change with something like this. Do what you like. I wasnt very close with family but the sickness made us come together more. I just had everything i wanted. Guess you cant have only nice things. I hope the cancer stays gone. Still recovering. I will start living more now
Advice number 2 reminds me of this silly tiny change that made my life so much better! All I did was spend about $3 on a charger cable that's way too short to reach my bed from the outlet and I gave my long cable away. At nights, I had no choice but to leave my phone away from me when the battery died and I could no longer watch tiktok for hours. Self control and discipline is definitely overrated in the sense of what we hear on social media... Your own brain would never stop you from your addiction on its own. You need to force it to find your addiction too inconvenient.

My friend has this life approach: my whole life is a long vacation occasionally disturbed by work... So he's handling all the things easily and he even looks like he's having the whole freedom in the world. I've also taken over this approach and really, I feel relaxed, not tight to schedules..
1. Health is everything 2. Control your environment , control your life 3. Stary true to yourself 4. Your mind need rest 5. Manage your energy not your time 6. Have a good day, have a great life
It took me a long time to learn that I get a big boost out of making a stranger's day better. Now I make an effort to find at least four people to compliment when I go shopping. I point out beautiful hair and clothes, well-behaved children, nice-looking families, even interesting tattoos. I'm a 62-year-old woman so I can get away with complimenting young men as well as women of all ages without them thinking I'm a creep or troll. It's a great feeling to watch someone's face go from frustrated - or just kind of numb - to bright and smiling after I've told them they have a great hairstyle, a cool backpack or shoes, or look awesome in the outfit they chose that day. I know I distinctly remember several times in the past when strangers have taken the time to compliment me for some small thing, so I hope I'm giving these random strangers a good memory to fall back on when they're feeling low, questioning their looks, or their kids are acting crazy. Maybe someone thinks "It's not all bad, some old woman told me my hair was beautiful last week" or "my children were being so good someone noticed it in the grocery store yesterday, so they're not always this difficult." We all tend to remember and internalize snide remarks, put-downs, and nasty comments; hopefully my quest to find something good about a stranger and make the effort to tell them will help them recognize their own unique awesomeness and help replace self-doubt with self-esteem.
Be kind to people, as many people are a mirror. If you treat people kindly, you'll get the same treatment most of the time. Say hi to people you cross, even if you don't know them. Getting a greeting back from an unknown person really gives you positive energy.
A valuable lesson i learnt as i grew up was- to live an examined life. Any aspect of life that goes unexamined or neglected, starts to deteriorate. So we have to pay due attention and monitoring to multiple aspects of life, so as to keep them up. Be it, healthy eating, finances, body weight, stress etc
Point 6 is definitely my favorite, "Have a good day have a great life" Suffering at work day to day and then going for a short trip is like extreme ends. The withdrawal from the holiday would make going back to work that much more dreadful. One thing that'll make day to day better is just be grateful and appreciative of everything! Even the little things like that ice coffee you have in the morning. Mindset goes a long way!
Advice I got from 2 old women. First, your smart if you can learn from your mistakes but a genius if you can learn from others. Second, enjoy your life. That advice was given to me in my late 20s and very grateful for it. Now I am older and added this to list of advice I give, acceptance is the key to happiness
One thing I've learned is there's always another side to the story whenever you see something and whenever you have the opinion there's always another side to the story. Especially when there's a lot of passion in the opinions.
One thing I have learned: often in life there is one person, maybe a boss, maybe a co-worker or maybe just a member of a group I’m in - and we don’t get along ! Don’t focus on this person - soon they will be gone and nothing but a vague memory.
Unfortunately sometimes that boss you don’t get along with _demands_ your focus and will fire you if you don’t grovel for them. If you need a job (to make sure you can take care of your health by getting health insurance, for example) you may have no choice but to deal with them for a while. Still, hell will blow over eventually, and you’ll get to see life again.
Something I learned from therapy that still helps me: thoughts determine feelings. If you constantly have negative thoughts and are always judging yourself, you will be unhappy because those thoughts will make you unhappy. But if you reframe your thoughts to be more positive and let negativite thoughts pass you by, and practice gratitude, your mood and general day to day life will be happier.
3:50 this one is honestly such an easy and helpful “life hack” for a lot of things. Rather than going to the gym, get a pull-up bar, some dumbbells, and clean your floor so you can do planks, push-ups, etc., find a heavy piece of furniture at just the right height off the ground to help with sit-ups (and clean underneath it regularly,) find your nearest set of stairs or just the edge of a table/bed for calf lifts and step-ups. Your home _can_ be your gym without any equipment and it makes exercising so incredibly convenient.
Many of your lessons are lessons that life also taught me. To those I'd add : [1] Most people can't be rich and look rich at the same time, impressing others is not what will make you happy. [2] Date yourself like you'd date your biggest crush, most people are searching for the right person, while they should be working on being the right person for these people. [3] Self improvement is the work of a lifetime. Nobody's perfect, which means there is always something to work on, and it's probably more important than almost any other external goal. [4] There is always a right way to say something that really needs to be said, otherwise it was just mean and useless. Non-violent communication is a powerful tool to learn in order to truly and effectively advocate for ourselves and others.
1 - to trust my mind processes: when I don’t find a soution of a problem or the right creative idea, I need to rest and to other things. The solution comes by itself, sometimes I awaken with it. Mind was working in the backend! 2. Physical excercise. I wish I had learnt it before! I didn’t like workouts, or I thought so. Then I discovered yoga apps and electric bike, my life has changed. You just need to find the one right for you.
That being organized increases productivity more than the “method to my madness” of disorganization. I found that out very late, when going for my masters degree and trying to write papers. I then did some of my work from home and stayed organized. I don’t do that anymore and really have to act as though I do so I can enjoy my personal time more.
I totally agree: health is everything! But not just physical health-mental health too! If you are truly physically and mentally healthy, you will have a great life almost regardless of your circumstances.
I know it's a good day when I watch your video. The most important lesson I wish I had known before. Don't miss this opportunity, it may be your last chance
I have one rule i'm always sure to follow which is to try and thank people and acknowledge people's efforts as often and as promptly as others (and sometimes I) are ready to point out their mistakes. Everyone always gets upset when people mess up that one time even though those people may have constantly done well and I don't think feels right not to notice when things go flawless. It doesn't matter the task, it always feels nice to hear a "thank you" or a "good job"
What a great video and great comments! My most life transforming lesson was to pay attention to my own thinking. I had an epiphany that I was ruining my own life with how negative my thinking was. I can intervene on crap thinking patterns and choose a different road.

I did all those healthy things. Still got this chronical illness .(which noone knows why we get it and there is no cure yet) And another thing life isnt over just because health declined. Sooner or later it probably will. You need to learn to adjust and find happiness in daily life in new ways.
My biggest life changing realization was when I realized that my perspective became my reality and the toxic way that I talked to myself was just programming from my toxic childhood. I started keeping a bujo journal where I wrote on one page any automatic negative thoughts and on the page next to it I used logic and self compassion to address it. The buju helped me set goals, keep notes all in one place and ultimately gave me a tool to embrace a better life.
Time is the only resource. If you don't identify and plan to get to your proverbial end-zones, you'd never even know if you were standing in one. Identify the target in the distance and work toward reaching it one step, one move, one hour (or more) each day. You will ALWAYS know when you've reached your objective. 🐲✨🐲✨🐲✨ "Before I start, I must see my end. Destination known, my mind's journey now begins. Upon my chariot, heart and soul's fate revealed. In time, all points converge; hope's strength, resteeled. That may be true in the short term, but with incremental changes it doesn’t always have to be. Life is very long, you have to take purposeful steps in the direction you want to go.
One thing I lived by my whole life: always try to be good, never try to be fast. Speed comes with experience anyway, but quality is your expression. Change company, if they don`t share your view on quality. Another thing: the bigger the company, the less the flexibility, the harder the fall when it comes to layoffs. Small companies, small but recurring orders, and you`re fine even in hard times. You even have more freedom at work to schedule it to your needs.
First one is so true. I wish I had approached health and fitness the way I do now back when I was 18 before I went to university. I've wasted so many potential experiences just because I always felt weak and like crap. Feeling strong changed my life.
On the mental energy tip: it helps to both know your options and to put said options on a spectrum. This is especially true for those of us on the spectrum. Different levels of mental/physical/emotional energy is worth looking into. Also, yes, consider mental and emotional energy as separate things as well!
Just because you are slower in comparison to others, doesnt mean you wont get where you want to be. Never compare yourself to judge, only to strife. There is always gonna be someone faster, stronger or cleverer. Use them as a guidance what you wsnt to accomplish, rather than demotivating yourself for not already being what they are
Number 7, do everything in moderation. I used to play video games every day for hours on end, to the point where that was my whole day. After a few years of doing that, I am at the point where playing video games is a chore. What I used to consider fun is now something that I despise doing. If i had just cut down the time I was playing, perhaps i could still have fun with what used to be my favorite pastime. If you have something you enjoy, don't do it 24/7. Instead, create time to do something in the middle of it to keep yourself from burning out
That first one is big. I'm 24. I don't drink, I don't smoke, and I was hospitalized in December for heart problems. You're never to young to develop a condition with no known cause and have no idea what the future holds for you.
Thank you. Just stumbled on this video at a time when I needed to hear it. 🙏 Thank you so much. I have also subscribed as you deserve support for posting this and I look forward to more videos. Occasionally on TH-cam there is something worthwhile- this is one of those very rare worthwhile channels.
Best learned advice for me was: "Invest in people not things" Friends, Kids, Colleagues, Parents, Siblings Dont invest (to much) into cars, electronics, your living place (make it nice but nice for you not in general) don't invest to much effort or time into a job a company oder a institution invest in the people there. It's better to have a good relationship with everyone in your family than a family that does well from an outside perspective, it doesn't matter if your brother is in jail if you love him an he loves you.
Thank you, this video is so helpful!! I think I may add one which is to treasure who are beside you at this moment, especially family. Have a good day!
Something that is also very important to me, and that I recently realized, is that you shouldn't love anyone more than you love yourself. By this, I don't mean not to love deeply, but to love yourself deeply too.
I would say the lesson of the importance of personal health is vastly underestimated. Several people I know including myself take it for granted in eating fast food or junk food and not being regularly active. It’s only been recently that I’ve made changes to try and be more consistent with cooking more, eating a balanced, diverse diet, and working out more.
Understand that only you are responsible for your life, so own it. Energy spent on blaming and finding fault is largely wasted except to the extent that t clarifies what your action must be.
Great insights and prompts. If you don't have the biscuits in the house, you can not eat them. Health is definitely wealth! Put some music on, or listen to a podcast, when doing daily chores such as washing the pots. Buy someone you don't know a coffee, or pay for someone's shopping. I buy fliwers, then aporoach someone (elderly man or woman) and give them the flowers, and then walk off.
Counterpoint to one of yours: My grandmother lived to 101, happily and contentedly, and said that the secret to long life was daily ice cream. (Although also, not drinking alcohol and not getting stressed about stuff.)
we dont know how important life is when you are at peace you are no longer think what other doing in their life you only focus is what you are doing today
Tbh theres one thing I really wish I knew sooner which is sometimes school is quantity>quality or more like speed>quality its better to give the teacher an imperfect work than no work at all
The idea is nice to managing your energy, but I can't say on X or Y job on location (office or elsewhere) that I will work/focus from 10-13 because at the other hours I also need to "fill it" with working. Can't just go and work on my hobby when I am at a job. I just burn out from filling the "off time at work acting". And not everyone has the option to switch careers to something that does allow it. I don't disagree with the amount of work in x amount of time is better( I think we all actually work/focus on work only a part of the time we are at work), but most jobs wont allow you to just do your work and get paid with not ticking the x amount of hours on your contract.
If you still struggle with resisting sweets like ice cream, there's likely plenty of room for improvement. Cravings for sweets often stem from regularly consuming sugary or high-carb foods, which includes items like bread, pasta, rice, and even sweet fruits. By reducing your carbohydrate intake to a healthy level-which is much lower than most people realize-you'll likely find it much easier to resist treats like ice cream. Additionally, it helps to understand the extensive harm that even a small portion of ice cream can cause. Not only does it do immediate damage, but it also significantly increases the likelihood that you'll crave it again in the near future. It’s very addictive. As you say, it's best not to keep sweets at home. If you have a weak moment, feel stressed, or are tempted to boost your mood with something sugary, avoiding easy access can help prevent impulsive choices.
The problem with #5 is that is was only explained for self-employment basically. It's hard to imagine how to apply this to a traditional job where you have meetings and deadlines that you have to make every day, as well as a quota of 40 hours per week in a generally inflexible timeline
Effort + Energy > Time is something I really wish I learned earlier. :) It seems weird, but you really can do more in say 2 hours than in 4. Also, you need to be aware of when you're being affected by social conformity. It's a powerful tool, especially online.
On peer pressure it is incredibly liberating to no longer pick items from the top shelf as if they were defining you or increasing your value. Live modest compared to your means. Save money, buy lasting things, but not the overly expensive stuff. At some point you will start to sieve off items when you realize you don't need all the things. It is a good investment to spend time with friends and family that you enjoy being with to accumulate good memories and energy. Make sure there are people in the pictures you take, and take enough pictures to get some glimpses into your daily life and the people yoy surround yourself with.
create same comment like this: Be kind to people, as many people are a mirror. If you treat people kindly, you'll get the same treatment most of the time. Say hi to people you cross, even if you don't know them. Getting a greeting back from an unknown person really gives you positive energy.
Finances and investing is something I wish I would have learned earlier. Methods like "Financial Independence, Retire Early" give us the CHOICE to work instead of HAVING to work our whole life!!
7. Rescue a dog. It helps to ensure one considers another before oneself, and offers opportunities to walk in nature with an animal that doesn't care whether we are rich, beautiful or successful. Dogs, and cats live in the moment and don't concern themselves beyond that. Over time, that outlook may be taken up by ourselves, and life becomes sweeter.
Whenever you start a new project or ambition, ask yourself "Do I actually want to do all the work to get there, or do I just want the results?" If you just want the results, give up now, you won't make it all the way through.
That accumulation rule that you have about good days is what I apply to every choice. If you consistently have good social interactions you'll accumulate good relationships, consistent healthy choices leads to good health, consistently good financial choices accumulates wealth. On the topic of self discipline-I haven't eaten processed, refined, or added sugars in 7 years. Simply because I have a contract with myself that is ingrained in my identity. Alyissa does not eat sugar and that's just a fact. If there is something that you truly believe in then you can incorporate it into who you are. Because who you are is not context dependent. Your environment shouldn't dictate so much of you. Of course, if I was starving, and the only thing I had access to was a donut, then I'd be compelled to abandon my self contract but that's an extreme example. I'm an American and sugar is all around me all the time and I'm not even tempted because I know that it's not good for me. I don't feel deprived at all. I don't drink either and that's literally a neurotoxin yet some people believe that a little is okay or it helps you relax. A little brain poison is not okay end of story.
@@shoeshank112 It's not really bias to point it out, when it's the most popular and frequently used platform on phones....It's the easiest to call out because of that. Not going to waste anymore time on this pointless debate.
I am 65, lots of good advice here. And now for a but, don't be a butthead! Eat some ice cream, have a steak, jump out of airplanes. live a life. Remember over a long enough timeline your chances of survival are absolute zero. Be bold. Be thirsty, be hungry, eat 40 year old survival rations cause there is nothing else, Live! You are better off and living peak when things are terrible!
1. Focus on things that are in your control If you work with, or compete with others. Its not about winning or loosing, its about you content on the effort and results you put in. It also feels better to loose a close match when you gave it all 2. 30/40/30: in social interaction and behavior there is a difference in what people can and cannot do: Henge irony, open to try New foods, being sarcastic, showing empathy. 30% of the people have it naturally, 40% have it in some sort of adaptable way, and 30% have problems with doing it. 3. If it projects in a way like this to the average person, it projects to you in some way. For instance my last point will also, statisticly, result in me having it 30% naturally, 40% liquid, and 30% with much effort. (The research in this video about the strings for instance confirms this rule, allthough its a rule of thumb. On a personal level to me: i rarely care about the people around me and im Just me. But to be fair in a situation like this id choose my own straw against the stream with some type of remorse)
With the health ruined for as long as i'll live i know and understand bugger all what to do now all aspects of life included . Health really is No.1 priority , next is time and theres only limited amount of it .
Sometimes I think about Americans who only have vacations in the summer, where in my Country, we have vacations for Autumn, Christmas, Winter, Easter, Summer and some tradition days. And it actually makes me sad when I think about it. Yes, they have a longer summer vacation with one more month, but many kids especially may be getting tired and miss their classmates after a long run. And if you’re stressed out or/and tired, your parents may say that you are overreacting and still go to school. They can say that you are allowed to stay home, but then you will still miss a school day.
If you educate yourself extensively on how harmful unhealthy food really is-and if you've had personal experiences with eating and living healthily for an extended period-you start to recognize all the problems caused by poor diet, lack of sleep, lack of exercise, and similar factors. The more you understand these negative consequences, the easier it becomes to resist unhealthy choices and to commit to exercise and other healthy habits. You no longer really need "discipline"-you just want to feel good, and you know what you need to do to achieve that. You might slip up once in a while, feel worse as a result, and then want to get back on track, knowing how to do so. After all, nobody needs a lot of discipline to keep their place clean, right (unless they have other significant issues)? If you spill some juice, you wipe it up, right? Nobody would say that requires a lot of discipline. The same goes for healthy living, nutritious food, and exercise: once you truly understand what’s needed to feel healthy and great-and to eliminate pain, bad moods, mental issues, and health problems-it becomes a natural choice rather than a constant struggle.
Ok, here's my 2 cents. 3 simple rules. Have realistic expectations, perform due diligence, and take nothing for granted. And I challenge anyone to come up with anything that isn't somehow covered by these 3.
Conversely, when you stop trying to please other people in order to make them like you, and start unapologetically being yourself (this doesn't mean be an asshole), more people will naturally gravitate towards you, but they will tend to be people who align with your personality, goals and morals.
The things you own end up owning you. As soon as you start doing well you can buy whatever you want, but you can’t buy everything you want. Obsessing over bigger and better homes, cars, clothes, vacations will chain you to working more and more and take you away from the people and experiences you care about. Really think about what you are buying and WHY you are buying it. To look good, to keep up, to impress? Is it good quality, will it make your daily life better, is it the one thing you want above all else?
This is a great video and so important to learn this earlier than later.👌👌🙏🏼🙏🏼 I did one on "why people might hate you...." and doing the research creating the video, people don't understand how small things can harm/traumatize people for many many years.

You’re awesome 🎉
Compliment me too,Grandma 🙂
This is a very rare and wonderful habit. God bless you
Be kind to people, as many people are a mirror. If you treat people kindly, you'll get the same treatment most of the time. Say hi to people you cross, even if you don't know them. Getting a greeting back from an unknown person really gives you positive energy.
Good karma

A valuable lesson i learnt as i grew up was- to live an examined life. Any aspect of life that goes unexamined or neglected, starts to deteriorate. So we have to pay due attention and monitoring to multiple aspects of life, so as to keep them up. Be it, healthy eating, finances, body weight, stress etc
how about social life
There is no such word as learnt. It should be learned.
Sure learnt exists, it's just more common in British English.
@@joannedunkerson7075learnt is a word, why else doesn’t it say it’s wrong when you type it or when you search up if it’s word and it says it is a word
Man have only so much attention, you can't constantly control every aspect of your life
Point 6 is definitely my favorite, "Have a good day have a great life"
Suffering at work day to day and then going for a short trip is like extreme ends.
You're*
Learning to enjoy learning and applying what I learn has been life-changing and it has increased the quality of my life
When world needed him the most he returned
I completely agree: out of sight, out of mind. If you have unhealthy food at home, it’s much more likely that, in a weak moment, you’ll go for it.

"Don't go into job you dread!"
I don't think many people have a choice
Figure it out.
That may be true in the short term, but with incremental changes it doesn’t always have to be. Life is very long, you have to take purposeful steps in the direction you want to go.
simple wisdom, amazing
One thing I lived by my whole life: always try to be good, never try to be fast. Speed comes with experience anyway, but quality is your expression. Change company, if they don`t share your view on quality.
Another thing: the bigger the company, the less the flexibility, the harder the fall when it comes to layoffs. Small companies, small but recurring orders, and you`re fine even in hard times. You even have more freedom at work to schedule it to your needs.
Agree w no 1, im always investing for my future self, health cannot be taken for granted
You know it's a good season when this guy drops a video
Just because you are slower in comparison to others, doesnt mean you wont get where you want to be.
Never compare yourself to judge, only to strife. There is always gonna be someone faster, stronger or cleverer. Use them as a guidance what you wsnt to accomplish, rather than demotivating yourself for not already being what they are
Experience is something what you achive just after that you would really needed that.

Bro has the best way to look at human behaviour and what someone should do...❤
Best learned advice for me was: "Invest in people not things"
Friends, Kids, Colleagues, Parents, Siblings
Dont invest (to much) into cars, electronics, your living place (make it nice but nice for you not in general) don't invest to much effort or time into a job a company oder a institution invest in the people there. It's better to have a good relationship with everyone in your family than a family that does well from an outside perspective, it doesn't matter if your brother is in jail if you love him an he loves you.
Im 17 and i think applying these rules from this early age will change my life in a very positive way
I’m 5 and who gives a fuck?
Thank you, this video is so helpful!! I think I may add one which is to treasure who are beside you at this moment, especially family. Have a good day!
I love getting a video only a few months but then with straight facts! Keep it up man, we support you❤
Something that is also very important to me, and that I recently realized, is that you shouldn't love anyone more than you love yourself.
Bro's appearing in the most random but also in the most right moment 🙏
9:45 my best time is at times like 8-10 PM, after that time I get too tired
Love those videos thank you.
Immerse yourself completely in the thoughts and problems of the present.
Your future depends on your thoughts and actions today. Thank you very much
we dont know how important life is when you are at peace you are no longer think what other doing in their life you only focus is what you are doing today
My lesson: If you have 1 problem that you can't turn into 0 problems, don't turn it into 2 problems.
A key consideration is most male energy/hormone cycles align fairly well with the work day. Women are on a different cycle.
3:40 is atomic habit by james clear
It's hard to imagine how to apply this to a traditional job where you have meetings and deadlines that you have to make every day, as well as a quota of 40 hours per week in a generally inflexible timeline
i think the stay true to yourself is my favourite.
Effort + Energy > Time is something I really wish I learned earlier. :)
It seems weird, but you really can do more in say 2 hours than in 4.
I love this channel.
A new video on morals and values would be nice.
So true, we do need this as number 7. And alternative to a pet dog is horse riding.
"One considers another before oneself"? What is that supposed to mean? It is essential to prioritize yourself. Basic principle of survival.
Whenever you start a new project or ambition, ask yourself "Do I actually want to do all the work to get there, or do I just want the results?" If you just want the results, give up now, you won't make it all the way through.
Great video. All of this resonates with me as well. Thanks for posting
Physical effort also takes mental effort as well.

1. Focus on things that are in your control
If you work with, or compete with others. Its not about winning or loosing, its about you content on the effort and results you put in. It also feels better to loose a close match when you gave it all
2. 30/40/30: in social interaction and behavior there is a difference in what people can and cannot do: Henge irony, open to try New foods, being sarcastic, showing empathy.
Thank you for always providing us with such great and insightful videos. You are an amazing human being.❤
If you educate yourself extensively on how harmful unhealthy food really is-and if you've had personal experiences with eating and living healthily for an extended period-you start to recognize all the problems caused by poor diet, lack of sleep, lack of exercise, and similar factors.
