Keep up the stump grinding videos, they are awesome. I've only been grinding stumps for 2 years now and I learned most of what I know from your videos, very helpful. THANK YOU!!

I’m new to stump grinding and your channel has be a huge help of understanding the business from all aspects. I look forward to the new info each week. Quoted a job last week that was butting the brand new fence, I told homeowner to remove section of fence and chicken wire or if not 3-4 inches is as close as I can get. Happy to see from this video I made the right call

Great video and advice. Walked away from a job today when the stump was on a steep hill. Safety first.

Ground two today with my hand swing near a fence. Used it for good practice to see how close I could get to a mark and how much I could dig into stump for when I HAVE to be close. Good form and patience beats reckless speed every time, doing it right then fast! Appreciate the videos Adam!!

Definitely got to know what to walk away. Better ta cut your losses than have to cut them a check to fit your mess that you should have walked away from the beginning.

Man, that power box scares the hell out if me! Skim for sure!
Seems like a battery powered angle grinder could be pretty useful for that last little bit tucked up under a house or foundation. Us new guys working for the homeowner have to be a bit more accommodating at times!

Adam, good information as usual. Taking risks is not worth getting hurt of damaging equipment. I call digsafe to have buried utilities located & marked out. It’s a free service so better to know what your dealing with. Hope the hip is coming along. Fran

Nice precise work. This is something I've always wondered how close I can get to the fence on my machine without tearing it up. I haven't had any jobs quite like that before but I know they'll come. Thanks for the video Adam.

Hey godfather I love it! I got a couple more weeks of work I've been on 7-14s for the last 2 months! I'm still thinking that sg40 but do you think I can make a blade for it or what do you think because I would love having a blade but I'm loving that sg40 regardless. I'm still on the path brother! And I watch your videos everytime and listening to every word, as always I appreciate it and thankyou for you taking time out of your day to pass on great advice and wisdom!

Hey Adam, couldn’t you cut the upper part of your first stump instead of grinding it all? Unless this was soft wood I believe it would have worth it. Anyway great video to share some of the jobs that are not the more interesting. Cheers!

First off - thank you very much for the wisdom you give new grinders like myself. I have two machines for stumps - a small hand push Ducar grinder for getting into backwards and for places I can’t get my tractor on, I also have a 24” pto driven grinder on the back of my Case tractor for big stumps. I have a loader on the tractor for filling in the hole and taking away the excess material. My big question is when you’re just starting, how do you get enough work to make a real go of this? I’m up in Eastern Ontario and there is a LOT of competition with tree companies that offer grinding and I’m finding if I price myself at what the price stumps at, I’m breaking even or loosing money on the job after a factor in my maintenance, fuel and travel. I wish I had a way to speak with you directly, but at the least I hope you read this comment and can offer some tips. My Facebook page is AG Snow and Stump and my email is agsnowplowing@outlook.com.
For what it’s worth, I do carry full insurance ( 5 mill liability ) and have collage and university degrees in forestry and urban forestry. I’m just a entrepreneur trying to get enough work to make a living.
    Best regards
    Aaron
