    Thanks. I am part time with the SG-40. Love the machine. So far even though it’s small it’s a winner and gets the job done.

    Where did you learn to analyze the tree failure? That seems invaluable to know.

    • @mustangrebuilder

      I used to own a small tree service and was blessed to work around to very large craning company's that large tree removals. The owners and crane operators would be on site as and we would look over the job and then when it came down to the trunk area we would reconstruct the scene and why it failed., wind, water ,rotten or to much weight take from one side.

    I definitely agree with you on just grinding the whole stump. It takes a few minutes to file a chain correctly and it only took you 20 minutes to grind that whole stump! Thanks for the vid!

    No nonsense, your a cool dude 👍. I just got a morbark g42 from Craigslist. Had him deliver it bc of time constraints. He said everything was good. Shows up hour meter replaced, teeth dull as possible. Claims they are sharp. He demos it for 1 minute while babying it. Then tells me about replacing the belts. After he leaves I sharpen it, belts squeel, belt came off - fix that. Eats belt again. Turns out the 1.5" dia. Jack shaft has been worn down so the pillowblock is not touching shaft causing bad alignment to the point of belt cannibalism. Moral of the story: inspect inspect inspect.

    Great video again , uprooted stumps can get a little tricky,
    Adam I have a question , I burnt up bearing on 362 cutter wheel, Vermeer wants 1300 to put new ones on , I've never done them before I'm sure u have made a video on this , should I try it myself or give it to Vermeer and use my backup and keep working ! Dumb question I know , but if I had a video on it I could do it

    Can never stress safety enough. I always tell people it's better to take an extra 5 minutes and be safe than taking the next 5 weeks off to recover from a injury that could have been prevented.

    What would be my best route as far as a machine for say $10,000?or will that only get me junk? What would be a good machine to start with. In what price range?I've been tossing this idea around for about a year and i think im going to do it. Just not certain on what particular machine. Thank you for your videos brother!

    Hey thanks for the great info. I have 2 questions related to starting a stump grinding business. 1 I work full time as a nurse so I will only do a stump or few a week. Should I get a business license and everything by or should I just see how it goes first? Second you think I could make money and do a few stumps a week with the Dr Power pro xl stump grinder? It’s hand maneuvered with 19hp motor. I appreciate all your vids. Thanks

    • @mustangrebuilder
      @mustangrebuilder  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Stay simple first and dont get a Dr Power ..if you are going to get a hand swing one get get one used like an old rayco
