Hey Cesar, I have a question. So I have worked over the last 8 months on portraits in oil, and I’ve gotten pretty good with alla prima, as well as classical drawing such as Bargue drawings and vanderpoel plates, anyway, my question was I’m trying to use your palette and gathered techniques from your videos but can’t really get it right, any tips?
Im very curious how you address the lengthy drying time for oil in the context of the sketchbooks. do you just... not close the book for a week?
