I liked the original graphics for the end fight better. When Ganondorf bursts out of the rubble it was so much scarier when you could barely see him, just this dark figure with glowing eyes...

For some reason, I find King Dodongo's death to be both saddening and admirable.
Even though he was probably completely out of it, having possibly consumed enough explosive material to blow his innards to shreds, he somehow realized he was about to die, and ultimately went out on his own terms (with some help from Link, of course)
If nothing else, that makes me feel kind of bad for him.

Twinrova is probably my favorite. Not because they were challenging (a lot of the bosses in this game are easy to figure out), but because of how delightful their personalities are.

The boss in the spirit temple was a lot harder in the N64 version. The witches mixed the fire and ice after they merged.

@@rachelmcdonald7296 That's right they would. If you were charging up on one of them and she switched it up, you'd have to dodge or something because it could backfire on you if you attempted to use the shield again.
I realized about that and also you can see that in majoras mask 3D The first boss doesn't fight link back while in N64 version he did.
No wonder why he didn't get damaged, the bosses in this version are in easy mode.
This was a very difficult boss fight, but I enjoyed it because it was really clever.

I wish they would remake OOT in HD for the Switch
It really wouldn't surprise me if they did! It's such a timeless, classic game, and it would likely sell really well because of the nostalgia the fans would feel for the game! Especially if they added some of the stuff they conceptualized, but took at in the final cut of the original release! They've already done rereleases of it for the Gamecube, 3DS and as a Nintendo eShop game for the Wii U, all of which I'm not ashamed to say I've got, and I can't really see anything stopping them from making it for the Switch as well!

It's hard to believe Morpha scared me so much as a kid.
It's ok. The first time I tried I got a game over.
For me it was bongo bongo
I had a bad feeling what would happen if I went in the water after Navi warned me.
I just kept my distance and relied on the hook shot.
I mean every other boss required you to win using your new items.
The only boss you could say that wasn’t the case with bongo bongo and the hover boots that is a mistake.
However the iron boots help a lot on bongo bongo he can’t jostle you as much.

This games brings back so many memories even watching the final scene brought tears to my eyes 😭 just like when I was 7. I’ll always love the ocarina of time.
Big guys can also cry in such situations, it's our childhood, atleast a part of it.

I always roll between Ganon's legs as he goes to strike. I find that makes it not only easy to get behind him, but easy to hit his tail as well, without the need for any items other than the Biggoron's Sword or Megaton Hammer (depending on if you got the big sword or not) in the first phase and the strategy still works with the Master Sword in the second.
Biggoron Sword is worth the time, trust me. I can't tell you how many playthroughs I did where I prioritized getting Epona, then prepping for the Biggoron quest before even going to Kokiri Forest.

Im not gonna lie: first time I ever played this game and I heard the boss for the fire temple was a dragon.....I was kinda disappointed with Volvagia. I hoped for a real big dragon, like Skyrim-type of large dragon, not a long skinny snake-like one.
i always liked volvagia. mostly because of how it sits up out of those lava pits. pretty fire hair too

i beat ocarina of time by myself for the first time yesterday, when i was younger i always gave up at the shadow temple because i couldn't handle how scary it was, but now that i finished it, i wish bongo bongo was harder ngl lmao. he is still my favorite boss design tho
It depends on your skills for murdering so much, it seems to you very easy but to me the upside down.
Bongo Bongo is just super sad as a boss. The rest of the Shadow Temple is harder in comparison to him.

There's an easy way to Beat morpha
I literally did it in one day when I was like 12 yo without knowing english at all. I don't know what are you all talking about. The hardest for me was the Shadows temple (Impa's)

I always thought the challenge of Twinrova's second phase was recognizing if the shot she fires at you is the same shot she did previously to charge the Mirror Shield with either fire or ice and that being hit by an element when the Mirror Shield is charged with the opposite element would damage you, but apparently in the 3DS version she does the same element thrice in a row every time.
Weird, I remember doing the 3ds version and getting mixed up patterns of spells

Because in my version of the game in the 3DS, Twinnova switch her elements in some point and it's a little hard beating her in short time (especially if it is the rematches in the master quest where the challenge of trying to beat it in its second phase really begins)

Ganon is a lot harder, too, in the N64 version. He didn't stay stunned for long.
Sometimes when fighting bosses I used Z-target and A so many times cause it’s the most powerful attack when fighting them and also this is a fastest way to defeat the bosses in the game.

A tip for morpha if you stay in a corner you can reach it and it can't reach you.
If you trap morpha in a corner you can finish the boss very quickly.

I can't believe this game is over 23 years old and still have better boss fights than BOTW the latter game had so much potential but for me they failed in 3 things
1. Boss Battles
2. Dungeons
3. Music
I agree 100%. Focused too much on exploration so they lost what made a Zelda game great
I like BOTW music, but yea bosses and dungeons were not too great, although the shrines you could say make up for that.
4.enemy variety
I'm not gonna lie, I actually disagree. Sure, some bosses were great, but at least botw doesn't have bad bosses.
Also, the soundtrack for oot is good, but I think the botw ost fits better.
Forgot to mention that I 100% agree on dungeons, the dungeons (except for the last one imo) are way better in oot.
