It's weird seeing Ocarina of Time running at a high frame rate, but it makes me appreciate how good the game's animations are for its age. I wouldn't mind if Nintendo put a smaller team aside to make official enhanced versions of these old games that improved the controls and performance but didn't touch anything else.
"Now go home Link. Regain your lost time. Home.... where you're supposed to be... the way you're supposed to be." I don't know why, but I like these last few lines in the dialogue.
I remember when I was little, I was taught how to beat Barinade neither from a book, nor the Internet, but from my dad. I remember how insane that boss was at first to beat, and I remember being so excited after doing so. Over time, I played through the story a few times, to the point where I've pretty much memorized the game. Since then, I've beaten Twilight Princess twice, and am slowly working on Wind Waker. Ocarina of Time will forever be my favorite video game of all time, for the combination of the story, the atmosphere, the music, and the memories. :)
@@cybersagess I actually have played Majora's Mask, the 3DS version, and I only made it past the first boss. I do hope to play through it at some point. :)
Wait a second! Jump attacks with a Deku Stick do more damage against King Dodongo than jump attacks with the sword?! Oh my gosh, I'm such an idiot for only seeing that now!😂
@@LITTLE1994 there is an issue with whirling attack… if you do it perfectly one after the other without losing frames you can kill a few of them just by one attack string… that’s for sure a cheap shot but can you do it ? it also matters skill of inputs. Only that Zelda brought him to an alternate timeline against his will where his Hero of Time legend doesn't exist
@@LITTLE1994all that hard work for nothing, huh? Well that sucks.

Have you played Majora's Mask? It's a sequel to Ocarina of Time. If you ever get the chance, do play it. It's SO good!

@@johnnytheyoungmaestro Nice!! Majora's Mask is by far my personal favorite. The 3ds version is sick too!!
good thing barinade got a fresh coat of Paint in Echos of Wisdom
@@joannetrueman6838 They brought back Barinade? I didn't even know!
The best Zelda game, hands down. The atmosphere, the maturity, the art style, the characters, the story, the music, the puzzles-it's beautiful.
I loved this game ever since I was little! Brings back memories for a long time!
I still my N64 copy of this legendary game to this day
@@LITTLE1994Bruh Sell it to me😅😅

Okay, that glitched out gohma freaked me out a little.
What's up with Gohma's textures? They look weird here, especially the eye.
The same glitch can be seen on the Mirror Shield when fighting Twinrova.
Omg. The memories❤
I love king dodongos boss fight music
Eu pensava que era impossivel vencer barinade sem dano, parabens 🎉🎉
Also love your content
This isn't actually the original game. It's an emulator with some modified effects.
How are you running the game at 60fps? it looks amazing!!!
6:40 Zelda Ocarina of Time - Phantom Ganon
One secret way Twinrova can win is catching you off guard
Reading the Ocarina of Time manga made me feel so bad for Volvagia... iykyk
Same here and made me hate Ganondorf more. The different elements in the manga version make the story very compelling.
Why?

Hey Retro Archive Can You Do a Let's Play On Wario Ware Gold
Wait can't you Just Hit Volvagia With The Master Sword ? 11:47
Well you CAN but hammer go bonk is much better and it makes sense to take it down with the same hammer from ages ago

I love all of the bosses but sadly the battles were too easy and short... it's still the best game in gaming history
It's only easy if you're an expert or resort to cheap shots like Jump Attack with the hardest hitting weapons
