Ghirahim's evolution as Demise grows stronger is so cool. Even when you arent fighting him, you can see the black spreading a little further each time you see him.
Sadly,, that's the scariest thing about him. As is a similar trend with these older Zelda games' difficulty (little to none!)

it's clear that Ghirahim is like Fi in a way. his final form resembles her similar to how the Master Sword and Demise's sword are similar.

Defeating demise without shield takes a lotta skill. It takes even more skill to no hit him, great job.
I did it without the shield cause I actually forgot that you could parry attacks...
It took me like 20 tries

It's actually not hard tbh. When it first came out, I did it with a shield.
It's easier with a shield because demise can hit quite hard

Levias seems to be the hardest and yet strangest, most grotesque boss in this game. Out of all the ones you have to face, that’s saying something.

In my opinion Skyward Sword has one of best or either the best boss fights of all the franchise having some exceptions of course...

The imprisoned when it was pushing the pillar out of itself reminded me of a stuffy nose being cleared out.
1:19:29 The demon sword's gem looks broken/exposed like Ghirahim's chest gem. Unless it's a design thing. Neat detail if it really was to mirror Ghirahim's current state.

People forget in the imprisoned fight that you don’t have to use the bombs when it’s flying and that you can use the wind gust thing in the middle to swan dive on top of its forehead.
I never thought to run under Scaldera’s legs! That’s genius! Now I can beat it no damage! I also didn’t know that you could shoot the eye before the hair snakes happened. But it makes sense since he does the same thing when he starts as he does when he resumes if you miss the eye.
Ghirahim is cool, so I arranged his theme for church organ! Look for 'Ghirahim's theme - Dark Version' if you like Ghirahim and dark music.

Demise is easily the greatest final boss in the series, in every way. And that's saying something, considering the magnitude and quality of all previous 3D zelda's final bosses.
Koloktos is fun because it doesn’t force players to fight harder. It forces them to fight smarter.

I forgot how creepy kolotos is. Even now it still creeps me out to this day. And I didn't realize that when he's dying you can hear a child laugh sound effect from it.

If Link has to suffer again and again for the sake of everyone else in the world, I still think it’s better than everyone else living lives of suffering and pain for all eternity. It’s like the trolley problem. I just think it’s better our boy Link suffering constant reincarnation than tingle I guess. Also I have no memory of writing this comment. It’s kind of cringe.

My first Ghirahim 1 fight in the lightning trial was 30 seconds. I can’t beat it! I did get 35 seconds, though.
I feel like they got the Karma in Boruto from Ghirarim, it looks oddly similar in theway it works!

They are both good. Infact, each has what the other one lacks.
Imo it’s a underrated gem. The combat, puzzles, bosses, dungeons and overall gameplay , level design is solid, sublime and a masterpiece. The best part imo would be the swordplay because it has actual depth to it .
Granted it has flaws like every other Zelda game but imo it’s get underserved hatred when it shines in the Zelda formula.
Yeah it’s linear, the sky could have more stuff, Fi can get annoying and having more interconnected areas would be nice but what it does well it does really well!
Gotta say, the way you kill demise is pretty metal.
Yeah. Link leaps higher than ever before, catches a lightning bolt on the True Master Sword at the apex of his jump and stabs Demise in the chest, killing him.

16:20 I've said it before and I'll say it again, nothing says "great boss design" like having to make your boss cheat 75% of the way to its goal just to give it any difficulty or tension.

Bro that was barely even one ring around tf are you talking about. The whole point of the boss is to get to the top and it develops methods of doing that over the 3 fights.
Uh that’s not really cheating because you are still given ample amount of time to defeat him.
By that logic you could say a boss suddenly getting a second form that deals more damage and just wails on the player is “great boss design”
Or I dunno how about “boss that turns into a electrified being that prevents you from damaging” like 90% of the bosses in BOTW are also terrible boss design.
If the imprisoned basically teleported to the top and it was a instant game over you would have a point.
But this feels like extreme silly nitpicking.

The “No Shield”(even though he always has one equipped for some reason) part of this challenge really isn’t that impressive considering how useless shields are in most of these fights anyway. It’s the “No Damage” that’s the amazing part.
Even knowing about the Imprisoned cheese tactic, I still fall off after each phase of its battles to end up getting stomped on. SS is an amazing game, but having to find the same annoying boss multiple times is definitely the worst part of both this game and BotW!
