Linear Scales/progression/whatever that is named, if there is such a thing. Can you use two strings linear, just one, three, all five or six, etc... antying linear. Kind of going here with this request. Lets say I want to learn a song like the star spangled banner(just example), and I know where all the notes are on the fretboard and I watch Slash play it what seems to be linerally and not chorded so much. How do you choose which strings. For example, he is not just using one string, he is using several linerally. Maybe he is boxing up several sale positions, I do not know and would like to learn about something like this to exlore.
One thing that makes learning the fretboard difficult is that the 2nd string is tuned one half-step differently than the rest. So, when you cross that "barrier", you have to adjust by one fret. However, there are some patterns that do not change because they use a muted string. For instance, if you make a spread triad, say in B (x24x4x) and harmonize it up the neck, you can cross over to the next set of strings without changing shapes at all. So, crossing over from the B (x24x4x) to the next set of strings we get an E (xx24x4) which is a 4th higher, just what we expect. So you're viewers can use the identical shapes over TWO sets of strings. BTW, there's a 7th chord that works the same way. Take a B7 (767x7x) with root note on the 6th string, is the same as B7 (x212x2) with a root note on the 5th string. You could play an entire 1,4,5 blues pattern without changing chord shapes at all.

Everyone always complains about the tuning of the B string, including me at one point, until I learned why it's tuned that way. If it was tuned in fourths like all the other strings, the guitar would be a lot more difficult to play. Try it out for yourself and tune all your strings the same then try playing chords, it would still be possible but you'd have insane finger stretches and you'd probably break a finger or two.

Hook 2 for sure. A good hook is able to find a balance between not enough notes and too many hope to was definitely on point. Personally wasn't a fan of the effect probably would have turned down the tribe and up the base a little bit maybe got rid of the echo but it still works. It´s an open secret that most number 1 hits are rather simple songs, even if the bands had written many, much "better", more skillful songs. fancy solos, complex melodies etc are great, if you are willing to spend time to digg into them..."music lovers" would probably prefere those 10 -minute songs with lots of facettes and layers... but to be successful with the broader audience, simple and easy to follow is the key I guess :)
Best thing about her is that she is always to the point, no gossips and the best thing I noticed about her is she never exposes her body just to get more viewers like other TH-camrs (less talent and more vulgarity).She is talented, smiley and humble person 🖤

Usually, people want to write choruses that have very memorable hooks, because the chorus is usually supposed to be the most catchy part of the song!
A song can be full of hooks in lots of places. But, as I am sure is the source of your comment, the chorus is supposed to be the most catchy and engaging bit.. hence, a hook doesn't have to be in the chorus, but the chorus definitely wants to have the best hook(s)

" or The Old Grey Whistle Test . a Title that was used for the British music show Famous for allowing live performance & featuring prog Rock .. So back when Sound Recording Engineers wore Brown Lab coats .. They suggested that the Producer take a recording of the song & play it to the ' old grey haired Milkman who delivered the early Morning Milk near ( Abbey Road ? ) & if said Milkman could Whistle the tune after a quick listen this meant it was catchy enough to be a Radio Hit . True story ? Legend has it that a few songs by a Pop group Called The Hollies .. used this & Graham Nash from Crosby Still's & Nash .. mentions this in an interview that after an all night session .. The old Milkman was invited into hear a song & see if he liked it. Ps I think John Mayer might have already used your hook or very close to it in Hmm I can't remember the name of the song but the guitar hook was quite similar lol as always Big love to all Peace out man .. If You never heard of the T.V. show called OGTW you should google it try Little Feats Rock n Roll Doctor .. Live or ' Hocus Pocus' By the Prog Rock Band " Focus " Far out man lol stay safe bye. I dont think the bass is what makes it catchy i think the bum bum...bum bum...pauses is what makes it catchy in contrast to the basslines constant rhythm. They both also start on the highest note of the riff. Which for pop music is good but may not work for every project. But grabbing attention and bringing attention to that first high note and the snap of the snare grabs you attention along with MJs OW! Screaming getting your attention. Your 2nd wah riff sounds like daft punk.
