    That vst is on another level when it comes to making "human" sections. You showed just how good your ear is for disecting audio in this Claudio, epic.

  • @DjJay
    @DjJay ปีที่แล้ว +15

    Damn Claudio never ceases to amaze with his listening skills, how he picks up even on the most subtle and faintest movements. That vibrato on the top melody wasn't on every note, everyone else missed that. I wish I could just hang out all day long at his studio. I would learn so much just by being a fly on the wall!

    • @mikosoft
      @mikosoft ปีที่แล้ว

      On the other hand, David also picked up on the correct bass notes for the Verve and the viola part with the expression (notice what he does wit the left hand while he records). Everybody did a part there.

    • @timehunter9467
      @timehunter9467 ปีที่แล้ว

      That vibrato is almost a Mandela effect now, I always thought it was on that note.

    Bittersweet Symphony ended up in copyright court, as the string riff was sampled from an orchestral interpretation of Rolling Stone's The Last Time recorded in 1965 by the Andrew Oldham Orchestra. The label sued The Verve, and rights were assigned with Jagger-Richards. After a legal battle, The Verve finally regained the royalty rights to the song, which is almost unrecognizable as a version of the original composition.

    My dear friends, know that the only music software I had the opportunity to work with was Cakewalk in the '90s. At that time, I mastered it perfectly; its use was almost intuitive. I explored various standard instruments, track by track, without any difficulty. However, since I embarked on a professional career, I have lost all contact with such software. It has become challenging for me to focus on tutorials to understand the workings of new software, such as FL Studio (formerly known as Fruity Loops). I sincerely regret having set music aside :)) Thank you from Algeria ;)) Translate French to English :))

    • @silkylounge
      @silkylounge ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe you'll eventually get there soon. Just stick to FL Studio for now and follow tutorials from channels using FL Studio e.g JayCactus, Simon Servida etc. And Aiden Kenway especially because he does song remakes. After a while you can switch DAWs and see how your knowledge and experience translates.

    • @infn8loopmusic
      @infn8loopmusic ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you sync up some sequencers and run the instruments simultaneously into a mixing board you don't need really a DAW to get a good mix (and you can still use software and hardware together to build your track.) Getting a decent groove box synth is a massive shortcut to quickly building well mixed tracks because it puts that concept into a single device with midi outputs and audio inputs (to expand for external synths or PCs). Then you just need a simple handy recorder and you're good to go with some post process eq and or compression or reverb to give it some 'glue'.

    Amazing what technology is capable of. But as I grew up and fell in love with synths as a 10 year old listening to Giorgio’s “Ivory Tower” from the Neverending soundtrack, I know it’s only important what you creatively do with the available tool. You guys combined both in this video, thank you. If more people would be creative like this and put their time in creating beauty, there would be more joy and less hate and violence in this world.

    Ever since SWAM entered the market, I’ve been wondering (or hoping) if one day they will bring out a hardware physical modeling kind of synth with a lot of expression controllers (several mod wheels, aftertouch, etc.). Like the Yamaha VP/VL series from the 90’s, but super realistic. And that you can create impressive stacks with all their instruments. I know, why not use a decent controller keyboard with the SWAM vst’s and Kontakt? Well, I guess I’m more of a standalone hardware synth kind of guy.
