Last week I brought out his shop of his favourite fabric range and I will be buying several more meter’s of fabrics for a quilt I am making for a friend. I am still saying my prayers for him and his partner so they get rid of the winter viruses. I do very much appreciate all his support he has given me and this I have supported him as well. you must do that if you do not put some sort of border around it. I did what i always do, put a very small border the same color as my binding

Hi Pat! I love your seaglass quilt! As I read (or watched?) the instructions the other day for how you amass all those sewn together 2" squares, it gave me the bright idea to do that same process with the cut off corners from blocks in Kendall's butterfly quilt. I just hated to see all that fabric go to waste, so I dug the triangles out of my scrap bin and started using them as starter and ending pieces for when I'm sewing something else. It's working great! I now have a zipper bag full of colorful, random sized half square triangles that I will eventually make into something beautiful. Thanks for the idea, Pat! 🥰

Oh yeah!!! Yellow Yellow Yellow is my favorite. I have been collecting different yellow fabrics for a quilt one day. Love your idea of the nine block. 🥰. I think Sagittarius folks prefer red (my mother always did and she was definitely Sagittarius). I am an earthy sign 😉

Hi! Oh Goodie, you're doing "The Web" as a SAL! As soon as you showed it two weeks ago, it was a had to have! I got the panel and what you are using for backing I purchased for the border. In addition to the panel blocks there are additional centers using prints from the coordinating fabric line layer cake. However, I had purchased a "Spooky Darlings" F8th bundle last year (yes, also when you showed it) and the color palette is similar so I will use those for the other center squares.
I've long wanted (and stashed) Halloween projects but have struggled to make any a priority so your SAL is another chance to take a stab at it. Of course, that's what I said about "Breakfast Club" (finally started yesterday) and "Toffee Bars" (maybe in the Fall?) LOL!!! And thanks for the book link, that's an Elm Creek Quilts book I've never seen before. Love that series, look forward to reading it.

Hello, I love your show & design ideas. It keeps me thinking...
So nice to know that you get sidetracked into "gotta do it now" projects like the pillow cover, and that you change your mind about working on projects you intended to make or fall out of love with fabrics you just had to have. Happens to me all the time. It used to bother me, but now I just restock the stash, file the pattern, and wait for the perfect project to come along - and they always do! One of the best things about your videos is that they reflect real life and real decisions, and I thank you for that.
I love that you decided your sea glass quilt was enough and done as is. It just shows that sometimes we start down a quilting road with one idea and come to a point where a different direction is desired. And that’s ok! It doesn’t represent a failure or a mistake. Kind of like life. 😊 Oh and “hi!”
