I just wanted to thank you for your careful explanation of the rig you set up to lift your engine. I couldn't find this kind of help anywhere when we went about hoisting out a huge old AGM from our Pacific Seacraft 37. All I kept finding was sailors saying things like "put a strop on the boom". The really clear video you have of how you actually rigged everything is just hugely helpful. Thank you very much.
I'm so glad you found it helpful. i had the same issue when i was researching. a lot of people saying "do that and you'll die" but hardly anyone actually having done it before. A lot of opinions and not a lot of experience i found 👍
Awesome job with the conversion to electric my man. I'm climbing the same hill next spring. Thanks for posting the great videos, it's super helpful information.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing and fantastic editing. Great to see the math work out when rigging... close call getting that diesel over the side. Can't wait to see sailing adventures. Where are you going?
Hey, is there any place where you could buy all at one place ? AND, you have some specs like weight, water line of your boat (props spec) and different KW consumption vs speed ? That information is relatively rare but precious to some folks like me who are building their electric boats ! Thanks in advance, really interesting video !!!
Hi - Thank you for great video!! First video I have seen that thoroughly goes through the water cooling diagram (Thank You). Quick question, you mention having a temp sensor that controls the water pump. Where did you place this sensor OR is that sensor built into the motor or motor controller?:) Currently building a similar system but using two 10Kw motors in parallel. Just posted an episode of the motor design if interested. th-cam.com/video/wHFoyxXglfY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ru118DPeJUHqtO9i Keep the good videos coming and sail safe!!:)

Wow, that cleared up that engine department very well getting rid of the engine... 😊
Haha yeah who would have thought 😁
17:30 they're called step drills and they absolutely awesome, even the cheap ones
Keeping it real. Top stuff my friend
Hola, me gusta tu proyecto, necesito ese kit de cooling para la controladora del motor, donde puedo conseguirlo? thanks

Most welcome 🙏
No backs were harmed in the making of this video! :D
I may have missed , what kind of batteries, what size?
You should play the kazoo. That trumpet was awesome
Rock on T!
You evil genius.
Thanks Paolo! 🙏
Hello Nice video. Saludos desde Perú
gracias amigo!

Thanks Oliver! The plan is to get to fiji asap... But realistically that'll be 2024. Cheers for the kind words 👍
You should try out different propellers. Diesels usually have way too steep propellers, for electric you want large high aspect 2 blade one
Has the fan come on? How hot is the new motor?
Awesome! what WH/KW motor do you think I would need on a 36 feet beneteau displacement approx 14,000 pounds or 6,000 kg?

Awesome 🙌 yes the temp sensor and control is integrated in the motor controller
🍻
@@slightadrift Perfect, I hoped that was the case (and also for my chosen motor controller):) Thank you for feedback!!
