I am a 61 year old woman and i put in a brick walkway and patios. I had been trying to cut bricks with a chisel and hammer and later with a sawzall with a masonry blade. Nothing was working. I found your video and went out and got a $44 angle grinder and it was so easy to do after watching you do it. This old lady says thank you so much!!!

Excellent video Thanks! I just used your method to cut 2 concrete pavers using an angle grinder with diamond disc and got a nice clean cut. I let the cutting disc do the work slowly (without pushing) to a depth of about 5mm on all four sides of the paver. I fixed the guard and extra handle on the grinder for safety and control. I also wore complete eye protection, ear plugs, tight fitting face mask and industrial gloves. Cutting was done on the grass, then I 'snapped' paver over a metal pipe lying on the ground. Very pleased with the result.

I get not wanting to use the guard, but at least don't have body in line with the wheel. That way if/when that disc breaks you wont be in the path of the flying debris. I also don't believe that people keep mentioning no guard, but don't mention that he puts the grinder down while its on. The vibration makes it move around a bit, and if that thing turns so the wheel catches on something, something is going flying.

@@InvestorTheory Your video really helped get a good idea of how to cut right but your disregard for safety isn't helpful. Every credible how to video needs to include proper safety protocols to follow especially for people who are inexperienced instead of "this is how adults do it". Adults can loose fingers and adults and cut their wrists. Adults need safety just as much as kids. Other than that, I am about to go do exactly what I just saw you do except I will have a guard on my grinder and I will have safety glasses, gloves ect.
