excellent lesson brother, your pace, expansion and illustration is awesome! I have come further along with your lessons than I did from any of the other tutoring methods I have used in the past. Thank you for taking the time to post these!
Thanks for this a lot! Can you do a, “how to play Crazy Horse by Black Label Society”? The only video is Zakk himself and he’s too fast for a slow learner like me.
Beautiful guitar. I thought it was the Slash AFD guitar at first, but it's not. It says 'Classic' on the headstock and not 'Slash'. I would love to get this same exact guitar though, anybody got a link on where to buy it?
Menno Fennema no, it's tuned one whole step down to D which makes the 4th string (usually a D) into a C, then drop the low D (normally low E) to the 4th C string. So that makes it drop C, not drop D. You need to play 9's or 10's and set your action a little higher, or it will make your low strings really floppy and sound like shit. I play 11's running Earnie Ball Power Slinkys and keep the low tone when tuned to standard tuning, but still have good power in drop D and C. Playing a Les Paul is almost the determining factor with the low tuning, something about them that allows for it better than most others. Just my experience, Cheers!

5392Guitars5706 if you see the zakk wylde video where he plays the tutorial of this song he Tunes the guitar DADGBE...he tells "you will have two D's on your guitar" take a look at its on the tube
alex guitar Well this guy is a professional teacher so I think he can do whatever he wants on his video. If you think you know it all why don't you do a tutorial Mr.Judgement on all these other guitar videos but doesn't have one video of his own showing his own skills off. And these videos aren't always 100% accurate so Idk why you feel the need to try and correct every little thing on all these videos. And you call everyone a Douchebag but it seems like you are the biggest one commenting on videos where these players are good but you have nothing to back up your skills. Do some tutorial videos Mr. Big Balls!!!
Excellent instruction on this killer BLS track !!! Your playing and sound is incredible!!!! Thanks so much
yes you need to do more. how about Hungover music cd
"It's cool to learn the bass part too" .... *exits video*

evilinvader85 try Gibson, they will drop ship to your local dealer. Or just ask them to order it.
why doesn't he just say Drop C?
People who don't general go to these dropped tunings have some weird aversion to saying it. Including Zakk himself with his lesson.
its a great lesson, you can fuck off.
Please can you do a tutorial about set you free?
Drop C.
Great! Thanks!
Bro! What dvd is that ? Where did u get this ?

Must be inspired from "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath"
What makes you say that?
16:00

@@jasonmcmurry1281 higher gauge strings always for drop tunning. I run Elixir 10-52's on my drop tuned guitars and 68's on my 7 string.
The verse is all wrong, watch zakk teach it.
Why the fuck are you going from the 3 on the C to 5 on the G? Just pull off to open on the one string. 5-3-0.
why C???? this song is done in DADGBE
No it is actually done one step lower :)
