- The charming and unique town of Mount Dora is located in Central Florida. This cute little town could easily be the best place to live in Florida and is full of things to do. You can have a low-key weekend or an action-packed weekend all in this little area. Mount Dora has festivals almost every month, there are picturesque lakes and landscapes all around, unbelievable sunsets, but above all, the hospitality and the warmth you feel from locals and business owners is what makes Mount Dora someplace special.

We were just in Florida from WV last week, we took our family that lives in Florida to the Art Festival in Mt Dora they didn't even have a clue that place was there. We fell in love with that area, went to coolest store, made sure he knew it was because if you.. ate at the tasty fry... we ended up going back there a few days later to look around without all the vendors there. I found my happy place! I love the and Apopka area. Thank you again!!! Would love to have lunch one time when we're there! ☺️

I lived in Mount dora for 4 years. In the winter they have Light Up Mount Dora an absolute MUST SEE and you gotta attend every festival. There's also the coffee shop One Flight Up 10/10 ask for the "frozen dirty chai latte" and there's a pizza place on 5th Avenue, Pizza Amore. Best pizza in town hole in the wall place. Honestly I could go on forever. Great size bass in lake dora

If you want the best view of the lake go to the board walk past the trail near Gilbert Park. Also all the antique shops are beautiful. Take a walk on the railroad tracks. You can see every bird.
She went to the place I mentioned. When I lived there the boardwalk was closed. The new one really makes a difference
