Thank you Heemz AJ's at home in her jazzy blues world Jimmy was one of the legendary musicians that came to Republic Records during covid in 2021 when she was 15yrs old to be her band for her fantastic Jazzy Christmas live stream , says everything about how highly she is regarded , Jimmy played saxophone on her cover of Chris Rea's "Driving home for Christmas" part of her Christmas EP last year, and he is back with her at this LA concert he is on other performances here as well. He toured with Etta James for 16 years , you saw him kneel before AJ that was like passing the torch to AJ she is awesome.💜👣😇
This is just my opinion! Jimmy Z is the greatest jazz musician alive today! In this performance he knelt down to Angelina Jordan acknowledging her as the living QUEEN of Jazz and blues today! And this live performance with this great band, Jimmy Z, and Angelina Jordan will go down in history as one of the greatest live Jazz/Blues performances in history! My only regret is that I was unable to be there to witness it live in person!
I agree with you about seeing her chatting on stage between songs. I was lucky enough to be at this show and that was one of the MANY highlights. Of course she is an incredible performer, but it was such a treat to see her personality on stage. She really seemed to pour her heart out. We all got to know this amazing young lady just a little better. 🥰

I'm so happy that her grandmother Mrry introduced her to Jazz at a very, very young age and she was able to capture all the great blues, artists and jazz artists of the past in her vocals.
