1 thing that I absolutely hate that DD does is send you an offer for somewhere that you literally were JUST at or passed by! Its like the app does it on purpose to mess with you, so annoying😂
You can make $20 an hour but you can only usually do that with food delivery for 1 hour at breakfast and then 11am-1pm for lunch and then 5-10pm for dinner. That’s still eight hours for roughly 160, if you don’t like those hours, then you have to do passenger delivery, Walmart delivery and alcohol delivery to try and fill those gaps but there’s just a few hours like 1 to 4 PM that are consistently not worth working
I've tried sitting at walmart again and it's just all venezuelans and other long-time sparkers who seem to get every order, they just come and go while I sit getting the $8 8 mile 3 drops and maybe 2 or 3 $11 shops 😁
My market fluctuates significantly, some days im making $14.75 on average, some days it jumps to around $22 per hour, really depends on how many other Platinum drivers im competing with in my market.
It's perfectly fair. You can only do so many orders per hour. Do you average $100/hr or $20/hr? Or, in other words, do you do a few orders per hour on average, or a dozen?
@ClearlyJoking definitely $20/hr. But some drivers don't care about hourly, they purely care about miles to money, no matter how many hours it takes them

@MooshiMoo, One night in 2019 my husband, Mom, and I went to Ruth's Chris Steak House to celebrate a birthday. My Mom hadn't eaten there in decades. This was the first (and so far only) time my husband and I ate there. Ever since then, my husband can't eat steak at any average or cheap restaurant (100% of the restaurants we can afford now). They ruined pretty much any other steak house for him. And he's not too upset about it. I'm usually not a steak person so nothing was "ruined" for me. If you go there beware you'll struggle to eat steak pretty much anywhere else after that and the bill from Ruth's Chris will be very pricey.

I dash on my e-bike. So, I don’t typically travel more than 3 miles.
I make $200 a day in richmond virginia
Your doordash alert is the same as mine. Not as annoying as Uber's or Postmates back in the day 😂
Glad you’re back, man good luck today
Thanks! :D
@@mooshi902 of course buddy we all out here!
Last week I made less than $10 per hour DoorDashing.

233 for a whole day's work, with the cost of petrol and car maintenance doesn't seem that good, what are you making profit? $100?
@@moses986 less more like $12 profit
I picked up the other day from Pizza Hut and on the floor in the corner of the store was a huge cockroach upside down DEAD
What car you using for DoorDash?
Ha you make me laugh 😂 “ ba ba ba ba ba BANGER!!!”

And the fresh markets are usually pretty good orders. They’re very expensive. I’ve shopped twice there.
Steak houses want you to eat the steak the way it's supposed to be cooked. That's why they give them it to you like that. Lol
Mooshi, it isn't fair to compare Doordash to hourly workers. We get paid per order
@@Nab88 most of the drivers in my market treat this like a W2 and accept all offers anyway

Door dashers arent worth anything near 20 an hour. They are worth min wage.
