My son ate my partners birth control pills when he was really young too. Climbed up a tall wall cabinet to get to them! When she took him to get checked out they just told her ‘he’ll be fine. Bring him back if he starts to grow boobs.’ He spent years terrified that he was going to actually grow boobs!

Saint Chadam that makes sense, they use a siphoning effect to deliver water then? Because if the water source is higher in elevation than the water destination, the siphon effect can occur without any machines to pump it, am I right on that?

that makes sense for cases when its in like a dusty western town with no indoor plumbing, plus they were used on railroads to refill locomotive boilers. Figured the ones you see on rooftops in cities like nyc were to help with fires and partially a holdover from an older era. Also water towers make good signs for displaying the town name (such as piety, indiana)

Everybody's saying water towers don't hold water. That's not true. They DO hold water. However, their main purpose is to help pressurize the water system so that the water can flow to everywhere it needs to. That's why they're so tall. Now, they don't hold a lot of water (that's what reservoirs and such are for), but they typically can store approximately a day's worth of water needs for the area that they serve. And yes, they do serve a couple other purposes as well, but their primary purpose is for water pressure.

My dad traded his three-door extended cab pickup in for another, newer model. When he came home, in front of the house, I asked him if he liked having four doors
“It’s a three-door just like my old one.”
“No it isn’t”. I knew they phased out those type of cabs a few years prior.
“No, it’s a three door. It says so on the build sheet from the dealer.

It was a damaged one I noticed on the ground when I was in elementary waiting for the proctor to block the street for us kids to cross. I have it in my hand, thinking to spray it in a corner of the yard at home to find out if it was perfume, or maybe bug spray. It was angled up and the slight motion was enough pressure to depress the button all the way and it nails me in my face like how you use a flashlight to make your face look spooky. Come Spring 2019, I find out the book was “Hunter Seat Equitation,” one of the most famous equestrian books. The book is only going for a few dollars now because some very disturbing things came to light about the author, but at the time that I realized what the book was it was being sold on Amazon for $50, and I got it for $2.

A little while later she broght a book, where it showed how to paint furniture. "Everyone paint furniture. Who wants brown color. It's ugly." She never thought she was wrong. As long as I knew her, she thought they sold wood furniture, so you could paint it the color you liked. As an adult, I see many adult paint their furniture. It's sort of like sprinkling sugar on all of your food. Some people just do that. Salad, plus sugar. Pizza plus sugar. Oak and white paint. Mahogany and white paint.

The Dyer sheet one is a game changer. I’ve watched my mom do launders when i was a young lad cuz u was bored and when i was older she would re-teach me cuz i “forgot”. Anyways i started doing my laundry and caught on how much clothes was in the dryer to require 2 sheets.... but now knowing this do i really need 2 sheet? Literally thought it was suppose to make them smell good too 😂😂
