Near the broken reactor in Chernobyl there lies a man. He died in the accident. Due to the reactor still emitting lots of energy and radiation his body is heated up to 70°C. On top of that, the radiation kills every single organism in that area including bacteria. So he can't decompose. He just lies there. Well done. And nobody can get him out.
Yes radiation is some serious shit. Idk, YT -censorship- algorithms are extremely stupid most of the time. Kinda makes me annoyed tbh For example, this one dude couldn't say "trouble", "cops" I think hospitalized or something similar to that word, and of course there was other words he had to cut out. His video was almost unbearable to watch because of it. Fortunately the way the algorithm seems to works is it listens to the voice but doesn't care what's on the screen. So if the algorithm decides from the audio given that you're cursing, the video gets demonetized until that part of the audio is cut out. He ended up putting subtitles on the screen. It's kind of messed up, some times it doesn't even work properly. Sometimes the algorithm cannot recognize when you're cursing and dismisses it. For example, if you change your pitch to being extremely high when you're cursing because you scream a lot when you're mad The algorithm might not recognize it. Copyright is also a bit similar. There is a song, that was copyrighted by Sony (idk why) and was marked as "shouldn't be anywhere on TH-cam" or something like that. To get around copyright, youtubers either slowed, or sped up the song to slightly change the pitch so the algorithm would accept it instead of rejecting it. But it would still be very recognizable to viewers because the pitch was barely changed. A youtuber didn't realize that it was copyrighted, so they didn't alter the speed to change the pitch and the video was taken down. I don't know much about how their algorithms work and I'm sorry if any of you already knew this. Thinking about it yt algorithms are pretty flawed, huh? Not that we didn't already know that xD correct me if I'm wrong but this is what I witnessed a few times as a viewer*

MOLO 27 - Maybe YOU should get YOUR facts straight. Black mamba venom contains neurotoxin, which affects the nerves and a person’s mobile ability, and may lead to PARALYSIS. The main cause of death, though, is cardiac arrest as their venom is also cardiotoxic. Black mambas are also incredibly unpredictable and to some people living in rural African areas (or even in the cities!) coming across a snake or two is a common mishap that may or may not lead to death or injury. Additionally, if a car has an open roof (like in the post), hitting a long and flexible snake with the front tires may make it flip and land in the driver/passenger’s lap. Not an acrobatic move on the snake’s part, but a stupid one on the human’s. So maybe calling someone else’s story a bunch of bull is just a bad move on *your* part.
1:54 In a somewhat similar (yet reversed) example my mom leaves her car unlocked at all times unless my brother and I decide to stay in the car while she goes shopping (which is often, although she doesn't usually take very long and nowadays she'll leave the keys with us so we can turn on the AC since it takes longer thanks to corona). Why does she leave her car unlocked? Because (and I quote) "if a thief really wanted to steal something they would break the window to get in and that would be a *_LOT_* more expensive than anything I have in this car." She's actually seen the aftermath of this happening when she noticed that someone had broken her co-workers car door window and her co-worker had to pay a lot of money to get it fixed...so my mom just leaves her doors unlocked and makes sure nothing important was in the car. We've actually had someone steal some spare change (maybe five dollars?) from our car before but at least we didn't have to replace a broken window!
During an autopsy, the medical examiner must cut from the backs of one ear to the other, and pull the scalp over the face. Then, they use a hand saw to cut the skull cap all the way around to get to the brain. When removing the skull cap, it has been reported that it makes a similar sound as rubbing two coconut halves against eachother, like a wet suctioning sound.
There is a tree in Australia (of course it's Australia) that is covered in microscopic neurotoxin filled needles that are pretty much impossible to remove. If you get stabbed by that tree (which is very easy because the needles go into you even if you barely brush against the tree), the pain caused by the toxin was described as "being lit on fire, covered in acid, and electrocuted all at once" and can last decades. The pain has caused multiple suicides.
The guy who had a fir tree growing in his lungs, must've been the inspiration behind the popular belief back when I was a kid that if you accidentally swallowed an orange seed you'd have a whole tree in you

23:30 The real reason for bones to be put "on display" (as church's decoration) is that the church itself is technically below area's ground level, so, according to Christian dogmas, it's a regular mass grave. "Human remains must be buried in the soil/'below ground level", was the argument.
The "sense of impending doom" one probably has to do with CO2 levels in the blood. They did studies on this lady that had no amygdala, so they thought she couldn't feel fear (your amygdala processes your sensory stimuli with your emotions, so it's like why when you see something scary you get scared). Anyway since this lady had no way to interpret ANY sensory information as emotional, she had never felt fear before, even after being mugged at knifepoint. Then they gave her a breathing apparatus that had increased CO2 in it and she felt fear for the first time, from inside her. It's a mechanism for us humans because we really have no way to tell if we are breathing "air" or not, so when we have way more CO2 than oxygen in our blood, we feel fear to get us out of that place and back to a place with oxygen. Very cool.
11:11 today (technically yesterday since tis last midnight) my friend was sad so I hugged her and after a few seconds whispered “you smell different when you’re awake”

I knew two people who went missing (separately, unrelated). One was a 16ish year old female who did in fact turn out to be a runaway. The other guy was late 30s/early 40s and nobody had heard from him in 12 hours. Cops refused to do anything for another 12. He ended up okay, wasn't missing but it's a long story. My thought is if it's a child or a "first time missing" adult, they should start searching immediately. I understand the 24 hour window if it's a "repeat runaway", but still. It really should be rethought.

No that's with ants I think, like it's a wasp larva, or a fungus replacing the ant's brain and slowly eating it's body. For the fungus it makes the ant go high up in a tree to release it's spores and infect more ants. For the wasp larva, well, it becomes a wasp.
Don't think Tarantulas have venom. They don't need it. They just use sheer force. Think at best some species have neurotoxins on their hairs thar can make you itch like crazy.
Some scorpions fly as well :D. Oh and have you heard of something called a "Mammoth mosquito " which I think that is what they are called. They are basically giant versions of mosquitos
Most pose no threat to humans, that’s why we keep them as pets because they are so sick. There’s nothing to be scared of as long as you know your species and don’t go near wild ones.
Here’s a popular one, but a goodie: the existence of naegleria fowleri. It’s an amoeba that chills out in warm lakes, eating bacteria and stuff. But if it gets into your nose somehow, it’ll just go “okay, I guess this is my life now, should probably make the most of it,” and start eating what it finds. The biggest problem? YOUR NOSE LEADS UP TO YOUR BRAIN. THIS THING BECOMES A BRAIN-EATING AMOEBA WHEN IT GETS UP THERE. Cases are incredibly rare and the amoeba looks cute, but it’s pretty much 99.9999% fatal. Keep yourselves sanitary and plug your nose when swimming in warm water or something.
As a person that lived with a lazy and dirty parent as a child and teen, I can confirm the cockroach fact. I have scars all over my body from where I was getting eaten up by them. I used to wear long sleeves every time I went out despite how hot it would be because my arms would be covered in scabs from them. They sting/burn really fucking bad.

My mum has a stone fish story from when she was around 16-17. She used to live in the north of Western Australia, and she and a lot of her friends used to go skin diving for fun. (skin diving is when you dive with no equipment, normally people can't go down very far but a professional skin diver is pretty amazing, my dad was actually a professional skin diver.) One day my mum went skin diving and as she kicked against the bottom to start swimming back towards the surface, her foot landed on a submerged stone fish that had blended in with the sand. She said the only thing that kept her from taking in a lung full of water was watching her friends swimming towards the surface and just focusing on making it to them instead of the pain. It was a really dangerous situation considering she didn't even have a piece of equipment between her lungs and just inhaling a lung full of water. She managed to make it to the surface and getting taken to the hospital in the back of a random guys van, you can still see the scar on the heel of her foot, and she made sure to teach all of us what animals and shells to be careful of when you are in the ocean.

took me a while to realise why the bot was mispronouncing words like “associate” and “assume” because they begin with “ass” and it replaces that with “behind”
youtube censorship is a bitxh
PepsimanV6 it wouldn’t be hard to fix that problem, make it so it only censors the word
“ ass “ not “ass”
Idk, YT -censorship- algorithms are extremely stupid most of the time. Kinda makes me annoyed tbh
For example, this one dude couldn't say "trouble", "cops" I think hospitalized or something similar to that word, and of course there was other words he had to cut out. Not that we didn't already know that xD
correct me if I'm wrong but this is what I witnessed a few times as a viewer*

1-black mambas, like all snakes, are never aggressive. Only defensive
2- it doesn't paralyze you
3-no it won't jump in your car and pull some karate move

In a somewhat similar (yet reversed) example my mom leaves her car unlocked at all times unless my brother and I decide to stay in the car while she goes shopping (which is often, although she doesn't usually take very long and nowadays she'll leave the keys with us so we can turn on the AC since it takes longer thanks to corona).
5:07 good for that guide, he knew how deadly Black Mambas are and he got out as soon as possible.

When she was a university student, my mom had a nightmare were she was at her mother's funeral, moments before learning that it was actually her grandmother that had died. Does that count as a sense of impending doom?

23:30 The real reason for bones to be put "on display" (as church's decoration) is that the church itself is technically below area's ground level, so, according to Christian dogmas, it's a regular mass grave.
"Human remains must be buried in the soil/'below ground level", was the argument.
3:36 am? Seems like the perfect time to watch this
Edit- who needs sleep?
19:02 He was on Sam O'Nella Academy!
Very cool.
Bruh imagine dying and then your bones being used in a theme park ride

As Czech I can confirm that we actually have church with piles of bones and with bone decorations. It's tourist attraction. Even little kids can go in. I was there when I was like 10. Really interesting and lovely place
Fun fact about the doctor handwriting thing: some doctors have admitted to intentionally writing illegibly so that if the patient dies from the medication the doctor can claim that the patient got the wrong medicine because of the pharmacist
That's depressing.
im assuming the reason a lot of PD say "wait 72 hours"
is imagine the wasted man power if a jelous ex gf called the cops every time you went out drinking with the boys.
On the topic of the Black Mamba; my grandfather had a close call with one whilst driving with the window open. Fortunately he was going fast enough for the mamba to miss the window and hit the door frame. They can be crazy aggressive.
EDIT: Typo
If you sleep on your back, you have a higher chance of sleep paralysis and realistic nightmares
Isn't that a myth though?
Thank god that I sleep on my side
I knew two people who went missing (separately, unrelated). One was a 16ish year old female who did in fact turn out to be a runaway. The other guy was late 30s/early 40s and nobody had heard from him in 12 hours. Cops refused to do anything for another 12. He ended up okay, wasn't missing but it's a long story.
My thought is if it's a child or a "first time missing" adult, they should start searching immediately. I understand the 24 hour window if it's a "repeat runaway", but still. It really should be rethought.
the croc gallop is adorable
The guy with the fir tree in his lung had to inhale a lumberjack to get rid of it.

Did u know that there's also a parasite that can possess a dead fish like a zombie
No that's with ants I think, like it's a wasp larva, or a fungus replacing the ant's brain and slowly eating it's body. For the fungus it makes the ant go high up in a tree to release it's spores and infect more ants. For the wasp larva, well, it becomes a wasp.

Okay so tarantulas can climb, swim, jump and have deadly man killing venom... We might as well lie down now...
Don't think Tarantulas have venom. They don't need it. They just use sheer force. Think at best some species have neurotoxins on their hairs thar can make you itch like crazy.
Koopa King
They can fly too
Some species make a web parachute to fly with the wind. They can fly up to 100 miles before grabbing hold of a tree.
Keep yourselves sanitary and plug your nose when swimming in warm water or something.
creepy fact :
I forgot to save my game file

She managed to make it to the surface and getting taken to the hospital in the back of a random guys van, you can still see the scar on the heel of her foot, and she made sure to teach all of us what animals and shells to be careful of when you are in the ocean.
lmao no wonder why my father hits me with a plank for trying to hold that stonefish, i thought its just bad, but didnt know it was BAD BAD
