Honda Insight 2010 review. Better than a prius?

The honda insight 2010 was the cheapest hybrid sold in canada at the time. Was it any good or just another part of the car history to forget?

Had one and hated it. Too slow, uncomfortable seats, and handled really poorly. Was built very well, zero problems.
We were surprised, normally honda never disappointed but that one really surprise us in a bad way
I had one. Was reliable, cheap to fix, got good fuel economy. Didn't like the way it drove though. Sold it recently. Got a Volt. Drives so much better.
How far can you get with one volt? how about luggage space?
I'm looking for a car for travel long distance, with big trunk , with sleep space if possible.
Insight looks like is a good choice .
@@AndyMatrixthe volt is a plug-in hybrid so you can take it anywhere where a gas car can go. And it has a huge hatch space with the rear seats folded down, so it’s actually a really good camper vehicle.
Is the car in the video an lx or ex?

The canadian way like the prius but we're not prius lovers. The thruth is that the prius drive like a normal car and is efficient while the insight is really penalise on performance (everyday and when you floor it )too get lesser fuel economy. Plus the insight is less practical then the prius. And finally overall the prius feel better built, thats why the insight didn't make it. Even when it was new the insight was far behind the prius

@@uuulaalaaFrom a mecanical side the insight is pretty reliable except from 2012 where they start too have oil consumption issue. They also have a tendancie too rust. Otherwise, like i said in the video i would recommend you too go for a prius instead, more pratical more economical and more usable in everyday driving. The insight is impressively slow and have a hard time too keep up with traffic except if you floor it. And when you look at the fuel economy it's just a little better then a modern compact car that can keep up with traffic. So i do not recommend the honda insight.

I had this exact Insight, i put 100K miles on it over 4 years. Very reliable. My next car was a Prius. I can see why everyone bought a Prius, its a better car in every way. EVERY WAY lol. The insight is a toy, the prius is a real car.
