Baba Yetu is a Swahili setting of The Lord’s Prayer, originally commissioned as the theme song for the video game Civilization IV. It becomes an immensely popular choral work since its debut in 2005. Among the music pieces written for video games, Baba Yetu is also one of the most critically acclaimed theme songs, winning the 53rd Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalists in 2011.
