If I duo it again, I would try to start with the front and work my way toward the back. Start with the 22 stitches and work backwards until you reach the 38 stitches. That way your seam would be in the rear and the ruffles would cover it. Just a thought.
Hi, sorry about that🌸 In Norway we use the metric needles, and on the yarn we go by grams. I have google a little on needles to be able to help you (not to sure what system you use, but I am guessing) In this video I use a 3 mm needle this will be in the middle of a C-2 and D-3 needle for you, I guess. C-2 is 2.75 mm and D-3 is 3.25mm. Also the yarn I use is 150 meters in 50 grams. I think you might want to go for a # 2 yarn or so. Hope this can be of help. Kari🌸
@@karisteinsvik4029 yes it did. Thank you. I do not have yarn that thin. I have a 4 weight. I hope this works. Perhaps if I use a smaller hook with the yarn I have it would work.
Instead of stitching the crotch to the front, I suggest that you keep your loop on the hook and slip stitch the two segments together. It will look better and possibly be stronger than hand sewing with the yarn needle. You are doing an excellent job with teaching the process! I don't hear your television in the background; all I hear is your instructions. I hope that my suggestion helps you as much as your instructions are helping me!
Hi @missybrigner9958🌸 In Norway we use the metric system on needles, on the yarn we use grams. I use a 3 mm hook and the yarn is 150 meters and 50 grams. This will mean approximately # 2 yarn, for the ones using this system. The size of the hook will be in the middle of a C-2 and D-3 needle, I guess. C-2 is 2.75 mm and D-3 is 3.25mm. In a comment here, there is one that says she used #3 light weight and a F hook (3.75mm). Hope this helps you😊 Just ask if there is anymore questions🌸Kari
What is the material that you're using to create the diaper cover because I would like to do it in the same material not the brand or anything it's just like the weight and stuff like that or the ply however you want to put it so I'm just curious
I love this diaper cover. I found that if you do a row of single crochets around before doing the picot edging it makes a much more finished look. Keep up the good work.
Hi, very nice pattern. I might suggest that when you begin decreasing, start with the front first and the work your stitch decreases and increases toward the back. I think that you would end up with the sewing in the back. Then it would be covered by the ruffles and not show at all. I am making one now and I will try the front to back way. I will let you know how it works out.
Where can I find this dress. I have one like it started by another person and would like to finish it. Any help would be great. This one is long and I need to see the back of it to add ribbon or button closure
Turns out it was meant to be a bunting bag. But Im going to make a dress from it. I found the pattern for it after I wrote this question. Ty for the link so I can close it up
Cute pattern but I felt it wasn't clear at all. Didn't say what size hook, what kind of yarn, and size she was working on. 80 chains seems like way to many. O well to bad ,they are really cute.
Hi Abby Burgett🌸 I can see what you mean, no size needle or information about the yarn, sorry. I am from Norway so the system might be different than what you use. I have done some searches on net and found this for translation. I used a 3 mm size needle; this will be in the middle of a C-2 and D-3 needle (if this is the system you use) C-2 is 2.75 mm and D-3 is 3.25 mm. When it comes to the yarn we go by grams. I use the yarn 150 meter in 50 grams. Are you able to see how much the yarn weight in grams and how long it is in meters? If not I hope you are familiar with the yarn number. I have found that #2 yarn or so could be what you need. When made it measures 37.5 cm around. Hope this helps. If not I am sure you find something similar on youtube. There are so much nice and others that have made some very nice videos. I have CFS and made these videos to have something to master, mostly for myself, but if others can make it of use that’s great 😊 Have a lovely day, Abby🌸

Hi Hunter Patterson 🌸 I am on vacation right now, but I will get back with the measurements for the diapercover when I get home next week. Hope that’s ok😉 Kari
Thank you for your question, Dark Lady🌸 I use a 3m hock. You can find a yarn you like that will be good to use with needlehock 3mm. I used yarn that was 50gr/150meters pr ball of yarn. You can best find out what yarn to make it with by looking at which needlehock is best for using on the yarn. It usually says on the paper band around the ball of yarn. Hope this helped😃 Good luck 🌸
You could use a larger hook, but remember to not have too thin yarn, then, it could be more "se through". If you have a bottom for a 12 month old you can measure it with that. I would then make longer rowes, as you say, maby some rows higher, too (just copy a row or to where the increase and decreases are) . Hope this helps❤️ I am sure that you can do it 🌸👍🏻
I did the diaper cover and I started with a 80 chain to begin with like your videos said, and the thing is huge! I don't know what I've done wrong because you said to start with 80 and then you had 40 in the front and 40 in the back and that's exactly what I did. Help

In this video I use a 3 mm needle this will be in the middle of a C-2 and D-3 needle for you, I guess. C-2 is 2.75 mm and D-3 is 3.25mm. G hook is 4mm. So you are using a bigger hook. Also the yarn I use is 150 meters in 50 grams. Is it possible for you to se how much the yarn you use weigh? And how many meters it is? I think you might want to go for a # 2 yarn or so. I have mesured, and the waist is 37.5 cm around. Hope this can be of help. Kari🌸
I did think it was for up to 4 months, I think I say that in the video, but it is actually up to 2 months. It also depends if you use a bigger hook an thikker yarn, then it will be abit bigger🌸

Hi @@yarnlady5399 🌸 The material I have made it in is wool.
A very easy way to weave in the tie string at the top, is use a safety pin.
I love this diaper cover. I found that if you do a row of single crochets around before doing the picot edging it makes a much more finished look. Keep up the good work.
