The books are great. The older the appearance, whatever the medium, the better. I know we collect comics, but I Admit, I sometimes find it difficult to rationalize going for a first appearance in a comic; as something special, when the actual 1st appearance was in an earlier magazine or book.
What do you mean by first appearance of Alice in Wonderland in print ? It's a book written by Lewis Carroll printed in 1865 and illustrated by Tenniel. Am I missing something ?
@@ComicCollectorGeek Don't you count John Tenniel illustrations as first cartoon appearance ? It set a standard of how Alice looks in peoples imaginations.
Interesting items! I like the books, too!
That Alice is a wonderful book

Love that Tessie! Check out issues 20 and 22 where she’s actually typing on the cover
Cool...strangely I never noticed the typewriter.
I love Tessie, I actually have the comic cover where she’s actually typing in a bikini…lol…only time I’ve seen a true type writer.
It sounds like she was using it with the proper technique too.

So why were the erotic/porno cartoon folders referred to as Bibles?
They are referred to as tiajana bibles because they were believed to have come from Mexico and bibles as a joke because of their naught nature.
