That Chamber of Chills explains why you didn't get the Superman #4 which goes for between $12,000 @ 8.0 -- $6,500 @6.0 - $3,100 @ 4.0 - and $2,250 @ 2.0 .
Popeye's first appearance, according to Wikipedia was 'on January 17, 1929, in the daily King Features comic strip Thimble Theatre'. It seems you got first reprint of the Thimble Theatre with Popeye comic strips in book form, but not his real first appearance. For that you need to find almost 100 year old newspaper's comics page.
Oh I think you mean the first series…. Yes that one is not to be found anywhere but only the “collectors edition” . Happy hunting, I’ll keep on the look out too.
Love that Witches Tales! Impossible to find book
Wow! Congrats on Witches Tales and Chamber of Chills. That's exciting. Great additions to your collection, all.
Thanks!
70% congratulations! I still think this is a successful year for you. Not only did you get the books, you met me.
I guess we can't win them all ;)
Please show Chamber Of Chills #19 (with the action figure) as often as possible. Wonderful!
It is a good set.
I bought Zombie Tramp 3 in a lot of 4 book last week.
But was it from the 1st series?
How does the timeline of the Lone Ranger #1 and the iconic TV show relate to each other?

Actually prefer the Chamber of Chills. It is my favorite precode horror cover.

I realize that. Many of the comic/book 1st appearances would be the same way.
First rule of golden age collecting - Don’t ever show your want list.

@@andresruiz817 Yup I meant the first series.
How does the timeline of the Lone Ranger #1 and the iconic TV show relate to each other?
It was first a popular radio show in 1933, then became a TV show in 1949. So this comic is before the TV show.
@ cool ! Thanks! Great book!
