This is actually a great video and really enjoyed the photos that you chose. I've been trying to go through my archives to find photos that I want to print out and felt the same about easily recognizable locations. 8:38 says it all, standing back and enjoying a real print of something you captured with your camera.
Yes print your photos. And once I started getting feedback from hundreds of people I was contacted by a coffee shop. Now I have my photos in art galleries as well. Non glare glass is a must for everything.
Couple of things, We have solid walls and I use those 3M velcro strips for hanging. I`ve hung 20+ photo frames upto 1.4m size and not one has fallen off in 5 years. Just get the size according to the weight you need. Also, i have a frame tv aswell. No issues with at all but you could try using the smartthings app to tweak to brightness setting and it should auto adjust using that as a guide. Loved your prints btw, I do some macro photography and sometimes you just get a winner by the most simple abstract photo.
Its so funny how someone from the US talks about walls and is challenged by drilling a hole into a concrete wall😂 (no offense, its just standard in Europe)
I feel your pain Lee with the concrete walls. We have had those same walls in all our overseas housing. Croatia, Slovakia, and Chile, so 3M strips and Velcro have become our best friend. They work great as long as you do a good job controlling the temperature of your house.
You should disable night mode. Your TV probably doesn't turn off but goes into night mode. In night mode the motion sensor is disabled. So you cannot get out of night mode by waving
Thanks for the vid - which model TV's do you have? Looks like the 2022 models come with major improvements that fix your issues. Framing is very expensive, so I was hoping to grab one of these tv's for my living room. Thanks!
Is 1:09 Hong Kong, the photo of the apartments? The morning of my first ever trip to HK in 2008, I took a very similar photo (on a shitty camera but love the photo)
I also love the promise of the samsung Frame TVs, but the reality is that their software makes them disappointing. I recently bought an Aura Digital Frame and it works great. Good product design and seamless software experience. I would love for them to release a bigger frame.
Thumbs up for Samsung Frame - Not sure what's going on with this frame but mine has been running for a couple years without a problem. The only setting I changed was sleep mode - If it doesn't detect movement for 30 minutes it goes to sleep. As soon as it detects movement it starts up. So don't base a buying decision on one review.
Hey. That’s a great video. I love when people finally print and hang their photos. I saw how you struggle with the hanging process and I wanted to know if it’s possible for us to connect since I don’t want to put a spammy comment here. I invented a hanger that you’ll LOVE. Any way to co tact you about it?
Question to those who are printing their own images on a Canon or Epson pigment inkjet. What paper do you like best for color wall prints? Same question for B&W images? Thanks, Dave
Depends on the image. For standard images, a luster/semi-gloss is a good general purpose choice. These papers show more contrast and richer color. For a more muted, soft look, fine art matte or rag paper is great. I like "baryta" matte papers because they're brighter and a more neutral white tone (as opposed to blueish or yellowish). If you're looking for specific brands, OEM paper is good for general photos, but you can get higher quality papers with thicker build and better texture from Red River Paper or Hahnemuhle.
I've always wanted to print, but I haven't had a real grasp of what paper is used with which type of photos. To everyone seeing this, do you know those photographs you would usually see in hotels, galleries or coffee shops... what paper is that? Looks really thin
Human vision has a lot to do with actual and perceived contrast in different contexts. There's a decent amount of research that supports white borders/mats adding actual contrast at the outer edges of an image can help boost perceived contrast and make your images 'pop'. This is why the default for Lightroom/Capture or video NLEs are middle grey as to help you achieve the most accurate contrast/exposure for photos and videos. This can actually extend to what color frame or wall your photo goes on to help accentuate contrast (dark print on light wall, light print on dark wall). Just a few concept similarities between studying human neuroscience and doing photography, hope that helped!

😮 that’s awesome
I have been in printing for 12 years and a photographer for 3. I've printed my photos since the jump. It's amazing to do.

Print em big too! Go to a gallery sometime and the most basic photos can make an impression when printed large

9:55 had me laughing so hard!!!!!!!! His wife was like, "Now Lee..." *Finishing her sentence for her* "Did you think that would work?!" HAHAHAHA

Before anyone orders a frame tv i highly recommend going and seeing it in a store first. Like the idea but was unimpressed when i saw it in real life
Great video, as always. You live in Puerto Rico?

Lmfao “what the FUAHK!!?” 🤣💀
Very interesting, need to get some prints made for sure.
Why year of Frame TV is this?
The “WTF” when hammering sent me 😂😂😂. Welcome to PR. #DrywallIsForWusses

Your TV sensor is inverted. Try factory reset.
Very interesting! Have you tried the 30# adhesive tape for the concrete walls?

@@FStoppers Be careful, there are scammers everywhere.
Andy Roddick takes great photos.
hate concrete walls ... we have them too. A real pain to mount frames .. :-) but when they are up, it's great :-)
Let's get to printing
Send the TV back? Seems defective. Also, the one in your living room is r/tvtoohigh

First 30 secs! I hit the like button!!
7:51 she's got Your hammer!
Border or borderless prints? I prefer borderless. What is the point of having borders on your prints?

No Wake Turbulence? Tsk tsk tsk
Wrong Power saving settings?
Been through every menu and called samsung twice. This is a problem everyone talks about in the forums.
Did you use a hammer drill with the masonry bit? Kind of useless with an impact driver.
Turn off Eco Mode in power settings.
@@FStoppers ask them to give you THE WALL for repentance instead, and as a promotion for their MicroLED tech
So you moved into a real house finally but you didnt bought a grown man drill ? : >
Na, printing is too expensive. Unless you decide to make a Canon Prograf 300 giveaway.
