I tried everything. Tried different power sources, different dram combinations, tried different SSD's. Heck I also tried it with nothing (no SSD, and no dram) in the end there was no sign of life. After 2 days of clicking the power button, I gave up haha
@bestworks7574 @InvictraX Fortunately, I bought it through Aliexpress. Initially, the seller refused to help, but after filing a complaint with Aliexpress, they refunded me once I returned the defective product. I had to provide Aliexpress with proof, so I sent them this video along with two others showing my attempts to get it working with different power and hardware configurations. So if you buy GMKtec try to buy it from Aliexpress so that you have some insurance.

Sounds really disappointing. Did you purchase another one? I'm curious if they offer a warranty in general. Any idea? I wonder if this will happen after a few months of use... I asked the store but haven't heard back yet. I just bought one today too from the official Aliexpress store. I didn't have the patience to wait. Since Cyber Monday ends today.
I also tried it without the RAM, but still no sign of life. The seller mentioned (through Aliexpress) that even without any components installed, the power light should blink. That didn’t happen in my case.
Yeah, it was really frustrating, but surprisingly the RMA process wasn't as bad as I expected. Once I provided the proof (through Aliexpress), they processed the refund pretty quickly after I returned the product. Still, definitely not the experience I was hoping for!
Maybe power button needs longer press? I have another brand it wants a longer press than a brief click.

Keep us updated of the RMA process. Thank you.
I will!

Where did you purchase it from? I’ve just ordered mine from the official site
I did order it from Aliexpress on the offical store
@@StreamlinedHardware-r1c is aliexpress a trusted brand i never heard of them could they be known for sending items broken
i guess ddr5-5200 is not compatible with the cpu. Check out the amd ryzen 7 8845hs official specs. It say ddr5-5600 or lpddr5x-7500
Same thought, makes sense, the CPU may expect DDR5-5600.
It should still attempt to spin up.

I'm so sorry that you don't have the ability to speak. Was it due to an accident or were you born mute? Or let me guess, sore throat that day?
You do know you put the m.2 drive in the wrong spot right?
What a disappointment, but I guess the RMA process will be the bigger one🤐
