Do you have two NVMe drives installed? Typically the RAID option doesn’t show up in BIOS with only one drive installed.
price diff from their own site vs amazon is wild.
Not really, the $389 on AliExpress is for bare bones, once you add the ram and storage it comes out to about the same, maybe more depending on shipping costs.
I need a mini PC with this form factor with 10 Gigabit Ethernet
USB4 can be used for network between two machines. It can be connected to othert machnie with a cable to have thunderbolt p2p connection. Or you can find thunderbolt lan adapter, but that is expensive.
please do an oculink test with the gpd g1
It is going to be my next on-the-road PC nomad living in China, when I ride the 350km/h hsr all over China (they got 26'000 miles of it)
Might want to wait for the one with the HX 370 iGPU in it which should be releasing soon. It'll offer a worthwhile boost. There mini-PCs with it already released, but GMKtek usually offer the best value.
Would this really suit you better for a road trip than a laptop though?
@@Mageoftheyear I'm a never buy the latest generation, $520 is my sweet spot.
Already got my Kado Portable Monitor, the look when I whip out the system on the HSR trains in China. Not sure If I should wait to just buy it when I get there, and use DEX on my S24 FE until then.
this vs a M4 mac mini for productivity
@@Desert_Person I use the m4 Mac mini just for productive. I have used mini PCs as well and the Mac mini is just quieter, runs flawlessly and better supported than the mini PCs. Granted you will not be able to play games as well on it or if your work requires PC specific apps.
Both are great options imo.
Oh no! Horizon Forbidden West Remastered, ALREADY 😮 😅
Very nice
HAY EVERYTHING IS POWERFULL. YOURJUST INFLUINCER......DO LIKE YOUR VIDS
At this point it's more mini pc's than sand on the beach
So?
AMD 370 HX is already being used on many latest Mini PC's and even handhelds and there are rumors about more powerful 395 Max chips coming real soon. And if one is really not into ultra tiny PC's they can build more powerful ones with discrete gpu's... There are plenty of builds on youtube that touts as PS5/PS5Pro killers that are actually good gaming PC builds...
Not mamy, only beelink a d minisforum, it s couple
Day 1 of asking can I have a pc🙂
For this price I rather buy a new Mac Mini for U$599, higher performance and at lower cost.
lower cost? are you sure about that? you can pick up this mini right now for $389 barebones... if you throw in the 16gb of ram and 256gb of storage that the mac mini gives you, you still come up way under $600.
@@GeeksAndGamingNetwork I wish I could get the M4 Mac Mini barebones. The ETA Prime has a video with M4 Mac Mini performance, faster than this, single core 3726 (this 2559), multicore 15004 (this 13048), also shows the M4 Mac Mini running AAA games with good results. Of course we can compare, but maybe the M4 Mac Mini is more value for our bucks, I think!
@@goatgamesofalltimes8201 but in reality, it's not...the cheapest mac mini is $600 and that comes with 16gb of ram and 256gb ssd...even if you wanted to upgrade to 512gb of storage it will cost you $800 and they still give you 16gb of ram. apple are just scam artists as this has been their tactic for years. they give you less and charge you more cause they put it in a pretty package...
those benchmarks are just synthetic. look how they fair using actual applications and games. the difference is minimal at best...to get a real comparison between the 2 with 32gb of ram and 1tb of storage it would cost you $1,200 for the mac mini...again, the k8 plus with those specs can be had for $400 or so...and if you wanted to upgrade to a beefier gpu then you can spend a few hundred more on a used gpu and dock for the k8 and still be way under $1,200
@@goatgamesofalltimes8201 more value for your buck? Granted the m4 chip is a bit faster and more efficient but for $600 they are giving you just 16gb of ram and 256gb of storage, which you CANNOT upgrade. If you wanted more storage you would have to buy the next one up from there which only gives 512gb of storage and STILL gives you 16gb of ram...
mind you that 16gb is the minimum requirement for most triple A games these days which you will have to tweak your games to it's lowest settings and still hope they don't crash. Value for money? Not even close.
Day 1 of asking for a ROG Ally from the Goat ETA PRIME
hes done loads on the ROG
Day 18 of asking for a gamesir g8 galileo
What a lazy review, other reviews i ve seen on this model were better even with A.I voice. 👎
I just got mine it.s rly nice...but I have a question pls if you can help me...I have a razer core x egpu thunderbolt and has 100w power delivery...will I fry the poor thing if I have the original power adapter that came in the box with the barrel jack and the thunderbolt egpu connected at the same time? The original charger has 120w pd and the egpu has 100w pd...I feel like it.s not enough so I wish to connect the egpu without having to switch off the PC and remove the power plug the egpu power back on every time...that should be when connecting oculink but thunderbolt it.s hot swappable...
*NAH SKIP*
AMD throwing same old igpu for generations is just absurd.
its not old. 2nd fastest igpu after the new 890m
The 8845HS is running cooler than the 7840HS, and has bit better gaming performances, so so youhave a better gaming 780m HERE
Macmini is better
Lol no
Sure, anything that makes you happy brother.
dude its just another over priced mini pc with the same chip. W O W
overpriced? not currently it isn't. got mine for $400
