Hair update/ I really enjoyed this hair. It was so sexy and really gave bundle vibes. But I will say u have to keep this hair up. Brush it everyday and put it up at night. But yes the hair was absolutely stunning.

This hair was not low maintenance. Very pretty. But I had the brush it multiple times a day. It didn't tangle but it would get bushy. Beautiful hair though.

Depends on what I have scheduled. I didn't keep this one for long because it was a lot of maintenance and it was by bday month and I had things to do. lol!

You do have to cut it out. you cut the length out and then carefully cut the knots. I have a couple take down videos. but yeah, you do have to be super careful. I've cut mine before too. its like a right of passage. lol
I was going to ask how to take it down also. But I did want to know how long you had the hair in. I’m used to locs or twists so I don’t know how long to keep these styles. Thanks for always providing great detail
Hey sis! So generally, you can keep most synthetic installs in for 6-8 weeks. The straighter the hair is, usually the shorter wear you get. This install was a while ago, so I honestly don't remember how long I kept it. But hair like this, I wouldn't wear past 3-4 weeks. This hair was extremely high maintenance, though it was gorgeous, and I got complements all the time. Taking it down is pretty simple. I have a video on my membership side, but in general, I just cut the length of the hair off and then pull the knots out. Any kink I run into, I carefully snip it and move to the next. I love your method! I've always done my own hair because I'm poor - and I've gotten pretty good. My question to you is; do you think this method would work for someone who has to use netting at the hairline because of alopecia? Please advise! You look amazing BTW!

@@ShayLuvHair I tried it on myself. My hairline and edges are sparse, so I sewed in a "patch" of netting across the top of my forehead attaching it to cornrows that began further back and on the sides of my head. I crocheted some braids to fill in the netting. I used an eyebrow razor (like you did) and then backcombed the base of the braids at my new hairline. Success! Thank you for this initial illusion idea!

Heyy!! Glad u made it over here sis! This hair is extremely high maintenance. Its been quite a while so i don’t remember how long I kept it in. But I remember having to brush it several times a day. It’s gorgeous hair and when secured well in the install there is no slippage. But brushing it several times a day is happening.
Looks like the install was just as tough as the maintenance

I'm sorry. I didn't follow up because it was my birthday when I had this in and was taking some time off. But the hair is def what I would consider high maintenance. You have to brush it everyday and make sure to put it up at night and I wouldn't recommend it getting wet either. The hair was absolutely gorgeous but its work too.
