Oh wow! You do this like a pro. I am going to have to watch and rewatch that illusion part to get mine that effortless looking in the front. I have never seen someone do their knots so seamless. And that purple looks great! Good job.

My, my you did such a clean and amazing job with the knotless and the highlight. of the purple 💜 it was just enough I kinda thought if you added the other side it would have taken away from the beauty you had already achieved. We love black women like you I swear! I wanna try this method but with a “sewin” with bundles and just do the crochet on the hairline. I stopped doing wigs with lace almost 3 years and switched to kinky straight hair with traditional sew ins & V part wigs. I found this method but everyone I saw still looked kind of bulky & not really natural. Yours looks amazing 🥰

I like this hair but one of the discontinued hairs was my favorite. I think it was called Imani. Oh my God. I wish she'd bring it back. Love the company she colored the hair for me so I'd have blond streaks for my birthday. Thanks Shay, you look amazing, with or without hair.

You did amazing. i want crochet style but my hair has is long. Its the braiding for me.
You can do braidless styles or even do bigger braids in the back to cut on time. Definitely ways around that.

hi great video! I wanted to c if there are any new techniques that are different from what ive seen and done and yes i like the 1 sided knotless i still do the 2 sided knotless. So that was new for me and i norm use a pair of thinnin shears or the brow razor. 👍🏼

Yes. But brush it out and twist it up for it to dry so i won’t be frizzy. And don’t apply heat to dry it.
I noticed that you alternate the direction from which you insert the needle. What effect does that have ? Thank you
This is a great question! I will def do a video to answer you in more depth. But for now, yes it makes a huge difference depending on the kind of knot you are doing. For a regular knotless knot- The direction you insert the needle will determine which side of the cornrow is actually knotless and which side shows the knot.
How do you take it out with those small knots tied in it?
The video I just put out today goes into how I take out secured crochet.
Can it be straighten if choose to do so?
They say you can, though I've never tested the theory on this hair. The curl is so beautiful, I don't think I ever would. lol

This is the exact style abd curl pattern I'm looking for. I love crochet braids but they never last more than 2 weeks because they frizz, matte and knot VERY quickly.
Yeah u have to know how to take care of it. There are some low maintenance hair types. But generally all synthetic hair takes some care.

I’ve had mine last for up to 3 months n able to wash n redo the hair that’s knotted just depends on your upkeep I guess 😊
