Just finished mine the other day. I watched your and few others videos and after about 4 to 5 hours job completed. I had the same issue getting my new blower rotated. I actually put a long screwdriver between the heater core pipes and used a rubber mallet to tap it into place. Now to get it out again will be difficult so I'm going to 3D print a special tool to fit the blower so I can rotate it out. Other than lying on my back the whole time it wasnt to bad.
It's so rewarding being able to fix things ourselves spirit I also watched lots of videos before I attempted mine And I think the most important thing is seeing where other people ran into problems. I like your clever solution to rotating the fan motor.
I don't really remember. although watching the video again I think it might be possible that I just unscrewed the module and shoved it out of the way without unplugging it. I didn't comment on it so I mustn't have really had to give it much thought. sorry I can't be of more help.
On second thought I would pay more attention to the way the brakes were set. I had to take things apart to adjust them after I had already finished the installation. Thanks for the comment.
Dang what a pain. I wish someone I know would have watched this before taking the dash almost completely off and now going this way instead. Module is what is stopping everything now
You just saved me so much time

Nothing. It all worked out. Patience is the main thing.
