Great video! it took me about 4 hours as the pins were bent on the blower motor, so I had to remove it and adjust the pins and push it back in. 2 local repair shops quoted me $1200-1300+tax for the repair. I spent $20 on the resister and $50 on them motor from Amazon so I saved +$1200. I am sore as hell as I was all over the place to get this motor in and out, but your video was perfect.
I am a professional and the manufacturer procedure is to remove the entire dashboard. Thanks for posting this video, it saved me time and money today. Happy Fourth of July
I just did this job and took me four hours, 3 hours to take out the blower, and a resistor, 1 hour to put it back. I'm 6'3" and my limbs are too long for this vehicle that is why I took longer, had to adjust myself several times and find the angles. Thank you @Falcon's Garage for the video.
Hi. I replaced the motor for my ac on a 2012 nissan centra with the help of my husband we fixed our ac with the price of just the new motor. We aaved so much money. We did have to be very patient but we did it. Thank you so much for your video and i finally remembered to come back to this video and thank you. Also so other people can know this is a legit video so they can know it works doings it this way.
Thank you for this video. I just did this job I’m 36 minutes, I helped out this lady that has been struggling looking for someone to fix this for over a year. Mucho Gracias Por todo que Dios te cuide
Thanks for post. Being "big", I found placing a lounge chair up to the doorjam and getting on my back to be best accessing the blower, servo & resistor.
Thanks for the quick video brother. Mine went out today and we have cold cold weather. -30 with windchill. got a motor, filter, and resistor just to save time
Dude!! Thank you so much Used your video for my Nissan Xtrail 2011, in Australia (steering wheel opposite side) Thankfully mine wasn’t as difficult as yours, I left pedals on, went in from passenger side But your little hint on twisting the unit to the left to get it out after removing the bolt was where I was stuck. I had removed bolt, was wiggling and thinking there is more screws and bolts holding it in. Once small twist and yeeeeeeehaaaaw!!! New unit in and done. Thanks again You saved me $500 (cheapest quote) now we have air con for the summer!! Merry freaken Xmas to us
Is this the redesign to where you take the glove box out, and literally reach up, twist-release, and easily pull the blower motor out? I was wondering if the 2013 model is the year they changed over to the much easier way. Blower motors just wear out constantly, especially if you keep your car for the long haul. It's not uncommon for a car to go through 2-3 blower motors in its lifetime. The last thing you want to deal with is having to spend hours removing pedals and tearing apart a dash every time you have to replace one. *L*
@@missioncodez Yes the Nissan Sentra 2013 1.8 was right there on the side of the glove box. It had 3 screws and it wasn't twisted in there you just pull it out. The after market didn't have any screws in it but I did have to twist it to lock it in.
@@rob5754 Thank you! I was looking for a(nother) used Sentra, but after seeing this mess, I have excluded the 2007-2012 models because blower motors go out all the time on most cars, especially Sentras that you keep for several hundred thousand miles. I don't need to be taking gas and brake pedals out every time I need to replace the blower motor. My current Sentra (2006) is at 340,000 miles and has been through three blower motors already.
did you have to reflash or program the computer module that you removed to get to the blower? A local shop where I live said that the computer needed to be reflashed or programed after reinstallation.
So i fixed my AC recently with this video .thanks for your help. But something bizarre happened after. My physical key will not unlock the door or the truck. Luckily it works fine in the ignition. Is it possible i tripped some sort of anti theft feature?
Hi falcon garage, so I replaced the blower in nissan sentra 2011 but still not turning on? Should it be the resistor? Because the Climate control buttons are not turning on either
This is ridiculous, especially since blower motors go out all the time on Sentras. If you own the car for several hundred thousand miles, you'll most likely be putting in at least a couple of these, probably more.
@@FalconsGarage Thanks for replying, I can see it. It does not fall into place. The screw hole is like a couple of inches left of where it sits. But I can not twist it.
Replaced resistor and blower motor and it’s still not working. Relays are good as wel as fuses. Made sure everything was plugged in correctly etc. Any ideas of what else could be wrong falcon?
Check out the control panel if fuse and relay good blower motor is good wiring is good then control panel is most likely place to check next. hopefully your testing these parts properly and not just throwing sh t at the wall and seeing if it will stick!

There it was the blower motor is on the passenger side this video is false so if your reading this please don't make the same mistake I did and do what this guy says. After tearing everything out I now cannot turn my key in my ignition. Steering wheel is unlocked too. Ive tried turning it every direction. Never had this problem before. Anybody have any Idea why this might happen?
I have a used 2016 Sentra Sr and the thing has been a pain in my ass ever since I bought it. Tire pressure is always randomly low on a tire or two...check engine light constantly going off for no reason then disappears on its own...car would randomly refuse to accelerate..and now this, a loud noise when I turn on the fan. Not surprised the blower is in the most inconvenient spot possible. Gonna ditch this car as soon as I can and never get another Nissan again.
