I really enjoy watching these top ten/top twenty Master System game videos. While you played and admired different games than I did I see that there are a lot of games I missed out on because I moved on to the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive soon after its release in the late 1980s.
Enjoyed the video I have so many good memories of growing up and playing my Sega Master system so many good games also especially Sega Arcade games theses were the good old days
Great list! Sonic, Asterix, Castle of Illusion, Out Run, R-type,... all classics! Road Rash is rare, but good version with nice graphics of 8 bit. I love the sms games. Nice video :)

I had 7 Master system game (no, not more) Outrun 3D, Alex Kidd and the lost stars, Hang-On (which came with the system bundle), Enduro Racer, Ninja, Rocky, and Maze which was integrated in the system ;) I almost managed to play Ninja through, I found the level on the river logs really difficult and the flickering of the master system when displaying a lot of sprites didn't for sure help. But after all, it was a lot of fun :)
Solid list!! I agree on pretty much everything. I will say that Ninja Gaiden and Batman Returns are good onorable mention, but you truly did an amazing Job! Land of the illusion is one of the best platform ever made, such a shame that is not well known! A real hidden gem!

100% agree on spell caster. That’s a fantastic game and not enough people know it. I’m guessing the running animation got people spooked before they found out how deep and interesting this game really is. Super cool
Great list, agree with the top ones but what about Golvellius sms answer to Legend of Zelda, one of my favorite games growing up, although a little difficult for some I still think it should be in a top 20 (along with Zillion)

I think you will find Wonderboy in Monster Land > Dragon's Trap. Power Strike 2 > 1. Also Ultima 4 (sms version) is the greatest game ever made. Also check out Put 'n' Putter Golf and Psychic World.

Call me crazy but I absolutely loved Ghostbusters on Master System, imo the best version of that game.
I liked that one also as a kid. SMS version compared to NES and Atari 8 bit was far superior. Once you got to the tower that shiz was on.

Populous and Gauntlet were 2 games I owned that were amazing conversions.
