    Can 100% relate, I windowed my 6.0 while initially tuning for boost last month. Deceleration fuel cut off is a must. 🤘🏼

      Mine is currently pro tuned so I’ll double check, I thought it was odd it came apart on decel but figured it could have broke before

    Wow, do you think it was tune related ?

    • @bowtieenthusiast6672
      @bowtieenthusiast6672  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Gonna send what little data log I have to my tuner, think it may have been a combination of things, boost controller was locked shut but still have pretty light springs in it, it let go on decel which I thought was odd so we will see once I get it torn down.
      May have been too much for pump gas but that’s all we have by me!

    Dude that sucks. its so crazy how similar your setup is to my caddilac and my buddys turbod shortwide. he had detinated all 8 pistons. just gonna say it drained all 6 quarts of that oil really quick. check your knock sensors bois. it can cost you 10 pistons. well thats what we saw in the bottom of the oil pan...

    Agree with what the other guy said, must be tune related (?) Didnt see this build from the beginning but did you do ring gap on the block? No afm on the block right?

    • @bowtieenthusiast6672
      @bowtieenthusiast6672  ปีที่แล้ว

      No afm, tbh did not gap these rings because I didn’t intend on this motor lasting it was gonna be for a low boost burnout contest but things escalated lol

      @CornerOfTheOval ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bowtieenthusiast6672 ah dang it. My money is on ring gap then. Put enough heat in a tightly gapped block and book is what happened. Sorry that it happened to you though

    • @bowtieenthusiast6672
      @bowtieenthusiast6672  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CornerOfTheOval yeah same thing happened to the first one except i gapped the rings, but i was tuning that so my fault lol. this one was pro tuned but was hoping on a loose factory gap lol. Will do the next one right and get the boost control figured out!

    What brand wheels and what specs?

    • @bowtieenthusiast6672
      @bowtieenthusiast6672  ปีที่แล้ว

      Wheels are American racing ar172.
      Front tires are just 16-in all seasons and rears are Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S 295/65R15 with a -19mm offset which is way more than needed but the only offset I could find in that wheel size.
      Running 15s in the rear with 1320 wheels brake conversion!
