MelyD, I noticed you use DecoArt Pouring Medium and said Floetrol and glue are not pouring mediums. Why do you prefer a proper pouring medium over Floetrol or glue? Will the DecoArt help the paint to self-level as Floetrol does? And, yes, I love the reaction of black and gold as well. Pretty piece.🖤

Was curious as to when you started painting? I started back in elementary school but Life happened and I hadn't gave it much thought until recently and now I'm in my 40s. I find it's so self satisfying and calming!

Hey MeliD... You are a good artist BUT your colors are always way too thin.... You can immediately see how the color flows... In the middle, for example, it flows more slowly than at the corners and this is a sign that the color is too thin... Because if it's too thin you can't keep the shape of the Pour...Nevertheless, the colors are really horny... Greetings Katharina from Vienna 🎀🌺🐾
The paints are exactly the consistency that I want them to be. If they were thicker, they would not flow like I want them to. Glad to know you find my colors horny ;)

I'm sorry, I disagree about the glue. A good archival glue works better than any pouring medium has for me. No little lumps and bumps at all like I have gotten with floetrol and deco art pouring medium. I have issues stirring for long periods of time due to physical limitations. Glue is a better choice for me and works fine....that being said I still love your videos!
I'm not sure about archival glue but whatever works for you! The point of my videos is to show people how 'I' do it, whatever happens on your end is up to you ;)
I have searched EVERYWHERE for the decoart satin enamels, I found red, I cannot find white anywhere! Not Michael's, hobby lobby, Walmart, Amazon doesn't even have it! HELP PLEASE! Tell me where to get it

Out of curiosity does everyone name their paintings?
Do you know how to solve the issue of a loose canvas?
spray the back of the canvas with water, and take heat gun or hair dryer to quickly dry it. One can be enough, but you can repeat it if necessary.
I wet the whole canvas under the tap front and back and let it dry on it's own.

The amount of paint depends on the technique and I have never measured. I always prepare more than I think I will need and keep the left overs.
