Thank you!!!! This is like the only b6 video of dash removal in English. Is the dash from a b6 or b7? I kept reading in forums that a b7 dash would not work in a b6 because of an airbag difference. Thanks for showing how not hard this interior swap is. Now I'm confident in tackling mine.
Glad to hear it! Yeah I had trouble finding tutorials as well, but happened to get the hang of it after removing two of them haha. There is a slight airbag difference between the two. I was still able to fit the passenger airbag by cutting a corner out of the mounting frame underneath the dashboard, and drilling two extra mounting holes . Hard to explain (and film) but if you have a b7 dashboard and a b6 airbag, you’ll understand what to do
Love the B6 content! Great video! Also curious why you didn't use the opportunity to remove the center armrest? It seems like you always have it in the 'up' position most of the time you're driving, I'd think it be better to just remove it during your interior swap?
i was wondering where you sourced that carpet. the foam cushioning on it looks very clean. i've replaced the carpet on 3 b7s so far and the carpet cushioning is always yellow and falling apart from age. nice build btw!
You lead the Audi community and the production quality in these videos is insane. Underrated channel!

@@FlinkFilms thank you for this! The b7 dashes are usually in better shape and more plentiful in black in my area. Now I can proceed with one.

I think the b7 I pulled it from had something like 70k miles, so I guess I just got lucky. It was just a part out local to me.
