  • I bought a 2006 Range Rover Sport for $1500. It has a suspicious history, but on top of that, it was wet and moldy! Today, we're going to take care of that so it's no longer a health hazard to be in.

Now that your Range Molder is reconverted to a Range Rover all you need is a range to rove on! Great job!!😂😂

You know it's bad when mold starts growing on the sheet metal inside the truck. 😂

Another great vid! Yeah I definitely need to check the passenger side hose on my sport, I did on the left side when I upgraded the grill and side vents with a silver/black style, but not on the right. I will probably be doing what you did to yours very soon so this vid is super helpful!
And as a note for the GPS system mine was not working either when I bought mine but if your screen is displaying a gray static looking image I replaced the DVD reader under the drivers seat and everything was fixed. What you have is a super cool car! Keep on the grind!!

Awesome! The drains can be tough to do but it's worth it. I'll have to look at the push to connect fitting size and add that to the description. The other option was to run the whole hose all the way up to the sunroof, but that would have required us to take down the headliner!
As for the GPS, stay tuned, we have another method to address it coming later in this series.
Thank you for watching and commenting - I really appreciate it!

These sports are notorious for leaking at the bottom of the doors weather strips. I would pull all of those out, and be sure there is no damage.

The door seals were in quite bad shape, especially on the driver door! It looked like someone rubbed against them every time they got out of the truck. We ordered replacements as soon as we saw that.

Just checked a 07 RR sport but the inside was suspiciously feeling wet but the outside car itself and the engine was very clean and not one piece of rust, whats your thoughts about it is it safe to buy this one?

While I'm not comfortable saying buying a Range Rover is "safe", consider whether you are prepared to repair the sunroof drains (it could be just one, it could be all four), and keep in mind that the door seals are pretty expensive if they need to be replaced.
