It's so eerie to know John's last words to Kaley were i love you. It's like he knew something was really wrong, so he wanted her to know how he felt about her just in case something happened.
the episode they did for him on 8 simple rules was incredibly touching and real. there weren't really any jokes, no heavy scripts, just people talking about his character the same way they would be talking about the real John. You could see the emotions were so, so raw. It was basically a funeral reception for him with a thin layer of TV on top of it. It's still a very good episode to watch today.
Out of all celebrity deaths, John Ritter was the one that devastated me the most. I could not stop crying. Several years prior to his death, I had gotten myself into Three’s Company and just adored the show and it’s characters, but it was John’s character Jack Tripper that never failed at making me laugh. I remember how shocked I was when the news broke that John Ritter had died. Watching the news report they showed a Three's Company clip, it was just surreal. I still get a little choked up about it today.
John Ritter was a great actor. He was awesome at physical comedy. But he also had depth. My first memory of him was seeing him on 3s Company when I was a little kid.
It's Heartbreaking for all of us who remember what happened to John Ritter and I'm still not over it yet because I knew that he will be greatly missed by all his family and friends who have the opportunity to remember him for as Jack Tripper character on 3's Company and I'm going to miss him dearly
I loved john ritter as well. To this day threes company is and will always be my favorite show. I remember exactly where i was when i saw the new york daily with the front cover of his passing. I lived in bensonhurst Brooklyn and was on the b 8 bus on my way to Staten island to my job. Many Years later I worked with an amazing, sweet older Caucasian man we got to talking about favorite tv shows and favorite actors and I remember talking about threes company and John ritter being my favorite actor and getting emotional. The next day he brought me a color 8x10 picture of john that said "love john" and he told me he wanted me to have it. I was so touched and so very emotionally happy for the picture of my favorite guy and extremely grateful that he took the time to bring that picture of john ritter and give it to me..

It saddens me that my best friend just passed away, he was 54, passed due to heart attack. My friend not even looked like John, his soul was of John. My friend also had the personality as Jack Tripper in his 20's, Zach Hutton in 30's, Paul Hennessey in his 40's. I just saw this clip,i laughed because I'm suprised how much they look alke, they aged the same way, till the end. Crazy. Rip, to 2 Awsome people, you will be missed.
John Ritter was a fantastic actor,,he will be sorry missed,he died on my 34th birthday.I loved him on every show he played in, and I miss him even though I didn't know him personally,he was and always will be one of my favorite actors.
John Ritter was unique and very entertaining and a great comedian. I'm sure his family misses him very much everyday, and the then cast of 8 simple rules as well. I am so sorry for your loss! He's in a better place, and I'm sure he's making God laugh! May he rest in peace! 🙏 P.S. I loved him in three's company as well as 8 simple rules and his movie where he played a superhero. I had never seen a comedian make being a superhero so funny. He was great!
8 Simple Rules had crazy potential. Everyone fed offJohn Ritter's character and energy. That show was the last show my family got together to watched. RIP John
8 Simple Rules was my childhood. As was Clifford the Big Red Dog. And John Ritter was a part of both. Out of all the actors who have died, his hit me and my family the hardest.
R.I.P. John!!! You were the 1st celebrity passing that ACTUALLY MADE ME BREAK DOWN. I was only 12 when you were taken away from us. man, that's so heavy, him to go in to her room like that, but what a blessing, it shows once again just how incredible he is.
John Ritter was a great actor. He was awesome at physical comedy. But he also had depth. My first memory of him was seeing him on 3s Company when I was a little kid.
John was a great actor. And human being. He is still missed. He was great in 3 company also.
John Ritter on Three's Company was EVERYTHING...💋
It's Heartbreaking for all of us who remember what happened to John Ritter and I'm still not over it yet because I knew that he will be greatly missed by all his family and friends who have the opportunity to remember him for as Jack Tripper character on 3's Company and I'm going to miss him dearly
Who’s cutting onions?! Damn 😭😭😭
True
15 years and I remember like it was yesterday. 😭 Its like you know what you were doing when you heard the news.
this year will be his 17 year of loss
Sooooo touching, I will always remember John Ritter, loved him in Three's Company, so handsome also. He will always live in our hearts.❤️

He was a huge talent and great human being, still missed!

John Ritter was unique and very entertaining and a great comedian. I'm sure his family misses him very much everyday, and the then cast of 8 simple rules as well. I am so sorry for your loss! He's in a better place, and I'm sure he's making God laugh! May he rest in peace! 🙏
P.S. I loved him in three's company as well as 8 simple rules and his movie where he played a superhero. I had never seen a comedian make being a superhero so funny. He was great!
Hello are you also into crypto currency?
8 Simple Rules had crazy potential. Everyone fed offJohn Ritter's character and energy. That show was the last show my family got together to watched. RIP John
I LOVED him in Problem Child
8 Simple Rules was my childhood. As was Clifford the Big Red Dog. And John Ritter was a part of both. Out of all the actors who have died, his hit me and my family the hardest.
I love the show it was part of my child hood watch all time :) he was great actor ❤
I remember how much I loved watching this show.
R.I.P. John!!! You were the 1st celebrity passing that ACTUALLY MADE ME BREAK DOWN. I was only 12 when you were taken away from us. I remember the nights I would sit on the couch with my mom and we would watch Three’s Company together and I LOVED that show SOOOO MUCH. Then I remember watching the Problem Child movies. Such a SWEET, CARING AND HILARIOUS MAN taken WAY too soon. Everything I saw him in made me laugh and wish he was my dad or that I could have a dad like him. Thank you for all the laughs John and I hope you’re at peace, you deserve the best. I love you John, rest easy!!
I actually never knew this. I watched the show as a kid and was really sad when the dad died. This is... wow, just... wow. RIP man.
There are very few people (less than 5, actually) that I didn't personally know whose deaths impacted me so much to the point of actually bringing me to tears. John Ritter is definitely one of them...
He always seemed like the guy you couldn't help but love. I can't even imagine the effect his loss had on those who knew him...
There will never be another John Ritter.....Never forget...!!!!
