Love Joyce. This woman is so underrated. She's a great comedic actress and she was fabulous with John Ritter. If you can keep up with John Ritter, you've got talent!
John Ritter really was one of the greatest, if not the greatest physical comedians of our time. I grew up with Jack Tripper and he'll forever be in my heart.
I don't have time to read all the negative, or even positive comments. John stayed with us at the Hermitage Hotel in Nashville. My assistant and I, ironically named Suzanne, followed him down the staircase leading to the entrance one morning. I loudly said "Wow, that's John Ritter!" He, of course, turned around and was one of the most sincere and kindest persons I have ever met.
Todd Burton, No. He did not have surgery, he died suddenly, on the set of his new show (at the time) He had, what is called an aortic dissection, he died suddenly..I was heartbroken! 😢
I could see how Suzzanne Somers was a pain in the ass in the 70's. No emotion of her friends younger brother dying and screwed up a reunion with Ritter.
I noticed the same thing . Ahh that's horrible to not even acknowledge a person's death. I always liked watching her on the show but after seeing how her real personality is.. hmmm may watch when only Cindy and Terri are on
@@xcassandralx If you don't hear something or sing something every day it can leave you. Go watch Sonny and Cher on the Letterman show....Cher forgot I Got You Babe and they sang it every single week on their show.
@saxon priest what does that have to do with forgetting the words to a song? They weren't "still in love"....they loved each other...that is a totally different thing. He was married to someone else and she was dating someone else. It was wonderful to see them back together though.
I agree, they were great together. Chrissy was always my least favorite. She was a dumb blonde that was easily replaceable. I liked Terri better. She was smarter and funnier. Boy, you can really tell that Suzanne had a hard time being civil even after John died. How sad for John, his family, and all of us who loved him that he passed away. I think he was only in his 50's? He went way too soon.
Are you the best of friends with people you haven't spoken to in 30 years? It would be awkward for you, too, if you ended on bad terms with someone, then three decades after the last time you spoke, they're suddenly sitting three feet in front of you having a conversation.
It's apparent that Joyce DeWitt was good friends with John Ritter, as you can hear the emotion in her voice as she speaks of him. Of course, Joyce worked with him the entire series run. On the other hand, Somers seems to be going thru the expected motions as the host with her recollections. Funny that Somers has problems remembering the title of Ritter's hit show "8 Simple Rules", which Joyce clarifies for her (with a bit of an eye roll). Always loved Joyce DeWitt, she was a cutie pie on the show, and seems to be a very nice person off camera.
Yeah, Suzanne's annoying me too much in this clip. She couldn't even remember the lyrics to the theme song accurately. The lack or respect she's paid to the show that gave her her big break is kind of horrifying in a way. She definitely seems like a "me me me" kind of person. Oh these Baby Boomers!
Louboutin Pigalle Yes, she does. I like it when an older celebrity doesn't get plastic surgery and grow old gracefully. It doesn't happen often enough, though. I don't get why they think it's attractive to look like an alien. :)
Suzanne is cold and so full of herself. Joyce is was always real and sweet. RIP John, I grew up watching Three's Company and never tire of the episodes.
That's not very nice! Suzanne is not that bad. You can't believe everything you read, see or hear in Hollywood. She's beautiful, talented and sweet! ♥️👍 I hated when they got rid of her all bc she was only making 30,000. an episode and John was making 150,000. She wanted to be treated as an equal....
@@traciepfalz6820 Yeah as Joyce and Suzanne said it was the boys' club at ABC. ABC had reluctantly given in to a pay raise to Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams for Laverne & Shirley a year before Suzanne asked for a raise and the ABC president told Suzanne's manager he wasn't about to give in again (for another woman)
I can feel a wall up with Joyce tho- towards Suzanne. I would have it too. At the time Suzanne coulda f-Ed things up for everyone. On the other hand she took a big risk on behalf of all women. Is that why she did it tho? Was she thinking of all women & the future of equal pay? Or at the time just thinking about herself & not her co-workers? Hmm….guess we won’t ever really know that.
Nice to see these two together again. I remember that show. I was their age at the time and felt like I knew them. My dad had a crush on Joyce. I always liked Suzanne's hair and eye makeup. I loved Norman Fell and Audra Lindley. So many of the good ones have passed. John Ritter was a natural for that role. Miss him. Such a sad loss.
+Kathy Aay Beauty They don't make shows like three's company anymore. Can't imagine John Ritter gone. Is a sad loss and Don knotts were too funny. Watching the old shows brings back memories.
I hope this year brings happiness and prosperity to all american and to the worldwide 🌍. I'm Carlos Holt by name from Key west, Florida... where are you from if I may ask?
Suzanne Somers probably has had at least $50,000 worth of plastic surgeon, my guess? I don't think these two are really friendly with each other in real life. They talked like they hardly knew each other. I think they did this to just show respect for John Ritter . Suzanne Somers probably considered herself a diva back in the threes company days. Remember Suzanne Somers left the show early before it was done . She did make a fortune on all that exercise BS. I think I read that Suzanne is worth about $100 million!
@Hammerschlägen M Don't call people jealous when you are just guessing. Not one woman is jealous. For what reason? Seriously, why would anyone be jealous of her.
Joyce is a very warm_hearted person. And she truly cared about John Ritter. Suzanne was a great disappoimtment. She turned out to be self_centered and at times conceited. One could tell the stark differerence in character between these two ladies. May John Ritter rest in peace. A great comedian and actor. And a wonderful human being.
Joyce DeWitt rocks. Nice to see an older actress in Hollywood not disfigure her face with surgery. Sure, she's old but she at least she looks human.*Ahem*
It was very weird stumbling on to this. I survived a massive heart attack at 48 and having them talk about losing their brothers reminded me of how lucky I am to be alive.
Suzanne sounds fine. As Joyce DeWitt mentioned as part of this interview (although not in this clip), she was amazed at how much Suzanne Somers had gone on to do.
@Diane Newman Mines too. No one wore tight jeans and heels like Janet/Joyce Dewitt.... Joyce also did very well on her physical acts of comedy, almost on par with John's.
I always liked Suzanne on the show, but on here, being herself she seems bitter. Cold. Trying to act like she had trouble remembering the name of John Ritters show, how the threes company song went, come on now. Cut the act, it only makes you look like a cold bit@h! Joyce on the other hand was a sweetheart! Showed true genuine feelings when speaking about John Ritter. She’s just a sweetheart, warm person in general. RIP John Ritter you are missed.
Thank you. I was thinking I was the only one who thought that,. Joyce was super sweet and open and Suzzane was distant and guarded. Maybe that's just her personality. Maybe the stories of her being hard to deal with are true. All we have to go by is what they show us.
Honestly I think the whole thing is an act. Maybe part of this whole entire movie. I pray John Ritter is one of those who went in witness protection. I bet those 2 know what’s up too.
Suzanne was never the endearing girl that Chrissy Snow was. She was always like this when she was interviewed. I always thought she was full of herself.
Suzanne Somers is a TERRIBLE interviewer - she is uncomfortable to watch. She is just not interested in what anyone (besides herself) has to say. Joyce DeWitt genuineness and warmth saves the interview.
WEll, those women did not get residual. So, the producer gets all the money for the reruns, and the actors dont, at least the women, or at least Susan. She never gets a penny.
@@usfanlovesjiwoo1978 Right! Its like can we keep Crissy snow present pls? Her swagg was amazing just imagine if there was really a Crissy snow out there in the world🙄
2 days ago Im in the parking lot at shoprite and a girl who cant be older than 25 is singing the threes company theme song to her baby, true story. Loved this interview and thanks for uploading.
John Ritter was one of my favorites, I used to wait for Threes Conpany show and glued to the TV, great laughs...miss this cast and the greatest sitcom...
When Joyce said that her brother had just passed earlier in the year, instead of (Suzanne) saying, "Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that" or give something other form of sympathy, she acts cold as ice, asks two more cold inappropriate questions, and then talks about herself and her brother . Then another cold introduction with "John"..... Tacky
It was because her brother died too. She just thought it was a strange coincidence. She wants to connect with JD. It probably weighs heavy with her to imagine what could of been if she'd been on the show the whole time. I'm sure she feels a sense of loss.
Got teary eyed watching this! Thank you John, Joyce and Suzanne for the wonderful childhood memories I had because of you. Yes Joyce was right, you shared an immense kind of joy that is still felt to this day. That is a gift. What a wonderful cast!!!
They weren't exactly the best of friends then... and this is their first time ever speaking to one another for 30 years. Of course it's a bit tense lol
RIP John Ritter. I was only 8 when he passed....i remember just crying because he was one of my favorite actors...such a sweet, talented and hilarious man.
Just LOVED the show. John Ritter, so talented and liked him a lot. Thanks Joyce and Suzanne for these great memories. Also nice and talented girls...God Bless You...

Hi! My bad days are always brighter because of "Three's Company!' got me through some tough days! My parents both passed from heart disease.. my mom passed suddenly at young age of 49 3 times the normal size we had no idea and she had a grapefruit sized tumor. They thought was hormonal but wasn't.. I cried the day John Ritter passed was so bad my dad even called me at school. My dad was so much like John! He loved the Beatles too. :) Eight Simple Rules I love too.. :) My two little cousins are now fans of the show threes company! It brings me light.. He's still so around his fam.. but so sad they didn't save him..
The fact he randomly spoke/saw them a month before he passed is a testament to how your spirit kinda knows when your time is almost up....what a blessing that they got that final time with him. Loved that dude what a great actor.
Loved the Ropers. Looking back, Norman Fell was totally right with his gut feeling that him and Audra Lindley shouldn't have spun-off a series of their own from Three's Company. He didn't want to do it, thought it was a bad idea, but so many behind-the-scenes people, as well as Lindley wanted to go for it. Makes you think what would the show have been like if the Ropers had stayed on Three's Company.
@@gloriaf2341It's too bad they couldn't have figured out a way to have both the Ropers and Mr. Furley on the show after the spinoff failed. Like maybe if the Ropers became tenants.
I hear things like 'I was getting my hair done' and 'John's show... Eight Simple Rules for Dating My... Whatever', and I can't help but roll my eyes. Suzanne clearly puts Suzanne first.
Joyce has a heart of gold she was amazing next to John they were the perfect pair for the show three's company. Summers is all about summers that will never change.
I gently disagree.......her "friends" were not so friendly during the contract negotiations and the aftermath. She deserved better and she's come through it all. So, no you're wrong those warm nice people really no so and the ones you hold as cold?
John Ritter graduated from UCLA drama school, Suzanne took an intro to acting course at the Santa Monica community acting workshop. She was hired because she was drop dead gorgeous and had a great publicist.
she still is worried about getting old but the face can look younger but the body cant lie when the clothes come off everything hits the floor woman are so shallow about LOOKS. My wife is almost 80 and looks so amazing today...no makeup EVER and drinks water like an alkie that is her secret girls so just let it go grow inside and let God look after the outside =)
Duh! Can you imagine male teachers making 10X what women make? Suzanne also is not afraid to stand up not only for what she thinks is right for herself, but also for what she things is right for everybody.
+Lianne Arnote Right idea wrong time to do it. She went about it the wrong way too.The person who should have been speaking about the salary discrepancy was the JOHN RIDDER. If he would have spoken up it may have been different. Joyce was smart to keep quiet and keep getting paid. She knew if she had backed Suzanne they would have found another brunette to be the New Roommate.
Lianne Arnote I disagree! Everybody has a job where their coworker is getting paid way better then themselves! Susanne just used that as a tool! Even today, there are many jobs where a guy would not make half as much as a woman would and I am very sure Susanne Sommers found that out when she went to work for Playboy as a model!
Sometimes. Especially in the later episodes when Chrissy had the eye assaulting bleach blonde hair & overly snorting laugh. They went over the top with Chrissy being “dumb” plus Suzanne Sommers is so fake compared to Joyce Dewitt. Remember her long term marriage started with secret cheating behind Alan’s wife back. So I was never a big fan of her “inside” beauty. Sure she was young we all make mistakes. I did respect her for standing up for equal pay for women when it was a big risk for her in those times. In my mind John Ritter was never the star, all 3 of them were. Coming from the mind of a 3rd grade kid at the time - but those were the fans! All us 70s & 80s little kids watched 3s Company :-))
A few comments. A. I do agree that Suzanne invited Joyce to her web show for ratings. My boyfriend and I recently met Joyce, Priscilla Barnes (a complete blast!!) and Richard Kline at a signing show. I mentioned Suzanne to Joyce, and mentioned 'Dancing with the Stars', and she simply said, "I don't go there…" I dropped it. B. I do agree with the post that life is too short to be negative, and the show provided laugh after laugh. I do think it's in the Top 5 of all time, particularly Season 5 with Lana, Furley and Chrissy, it's a classic season with Chrissy in full "pig tail" perfection. C. I do not like how Suzzanne said "no" to John for "Eight Simple Rules". She should have at least said, "Let's do dinner instead, me, you and Joyce…" Again, Priscilla Barnes is a blast, so much that I am appreciating the "Terri Years" on 'Three's Company' more now.
I saw a bit of Janet too when she spoke. This was a sweet video. Thank you who ever shared it. I just watched "Behind the camera the Unauthorized story of Three's Company" I loved watching the reruns as a kid.

Suzanne was crucified by the network and the media because she had the nerve to ask for the kind of money John was getting. I think she had every right to be bitter. She made a name for herself after all this but it was an uphill fight.
Loved Three's Company...luved John Ritter.....I cried when I heard he had passed...luved his new show too...may he RIP. the ladies are ok...joyce still looks the same...Suzanne..not so much.
I also remember that day. I was getting ready for work and the announcement came on the news. I cried. It is kinda odd......even though I have never met him, I do feel a void with his passing. I watch 3's Co reruns all the time. RIP John. Beautiful, funny , kind and talented man. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

It's such a shame a reunion couldn't have been done before John Ritter passed. That actually makes me really sad. I think it's wonderful Joyce and Suzanne were able to do this interview though. It's strange seeing them side by side again.
It's obvious Suzanne Somers invited Joyce DeWitt on her show for ratings. Hope the viewers noticed what a kind professional class act Joyce DeWitt is. It looks likes Joyce would have done an '8 Simple Rules' episode. Suzanne on the other hand would have still declined. Glad Joyce DeWitt & John Ritter had a good friendship. Suzanne's last words to Ritter was "No" to his invite on his show, whereas, Ritter wasted no time inviting DeWitt to a party & she accepted.
sopascat7 Yeah, it's obvious it was for ratings, particularly when Suzanne still won't do signing shows with Joyce, Priscilla and Richard. And Joyce still won't comment on Suzanne. I do love Suzanne. She just attended Barry Manilow's wedding!
Actually, it seems more like she had to invite her on the show because people kept harassing her about it. It does't look like it was easy for Suzanne at all. Joyce is an industry brat -- she knows how to 'behave' to get the jobs, it is not genuinely how she feels. Don't forget she betrayed Suzanne -- or more likely egged her on to approach the producers' / wolves den because she was secretly jealous of her.
How sad that Summers last conversation with Ritter was to turn down a TV appearance on his show. Even the way she tells the "story" it makes her come off as cold. She has zero common sense. She could have said how much she regrets missing that chance, but no. As an actress, you think she could have at least acted like she cared. DeWitt obviously had an real affection for Ritter and vice versa. The two of them together here forcing themselves to like each other just makes me sad.
I t WAS a good, innocent comedy, BUT you have to admit it had it's wonderful bit of a naughty edge to it. Very daring and groundbreaking for it's time!
Thanks for making this video, Joyce and Suzanne. You two and John were sooo wonderful on the show Three's Company! I am so glad I get to watch videos of it on youtube. Sometimes one of those shows is the perfect ending to my day! Thank you again, for making these shows. They were such fun...great entertainment. It was one of my top favorite shows ever!!
I think that tension is still there from when they were on three's company together back when Suzanne would show up late for rehearsal's and demanding bigger salary than everyone.
It looks like you made a tiny error there in your text, Jack Tripper (John Ritter), is a guy eh. It's not appropriate to put Miss in front of his name. Mr is appropriate. Heh heh
Yes! Suzanne is emotionless and very aggressive, a terrible interviewer. She’s very crass and curt. Not likable at all. She seems like she’s competing with Joyce and not very nice. No wonder her show only lasted one season, a whopping 13 episodes (I had to look it up)
Three's Company was very Funny & Magical. Life is a moment of time, why spend it being so negative. Some of these comments are horrible. RIP John, I bet you, Robin Williams, and Joan Rivers is keeping God very entertained.
Her cold line of questioning with no emotion to DeWitt was weird. I was waiting to hear her say I'm so sorry or anything in respect to JD's brother's passing. It was just a cold barrage of unemotional questions. Horrible interview.
TONY STEWART she is not unsympathetic she is bitter and angry because she was fired and they stopped talking to her and didn't give her a reason why . she never have closure
+Gege Lafaille No, she knew why they had nothing to do with her and yes, she was obviously still a bit bitter and angry. She and her manager-husband tried to pull a power move, believing she was THE star of the show and the show would be a bust w/o her. Her husband, pushed her inner diva into behaving in true form. When John Ritter distanced himself from her, you know the issue was major and with Susanne. Glad they had the sit down. Sorry, Suzanne missed her opportunity to work w/John again, being bitter. R.I.P. John.
Three's Company was such a fantastically entertaining show. I was only 6 years old when I first started watching. No show has ever captured the wackiness, goofiness, and innocent "sexiness" of Three's Company. Jack was ALWAYS trying to get some action with any attractive girl within 10 feet but he was never an arrogant douchebag or stalking creep. It was actually endearing. This was part of the appeal: lots of sexual tension but NO sex whatsoever. It was truly a show for the comedic ages.
The original cast of Three's Company was so perfect - such a range, all very talented and all clearly having the time of their life. So much energy. Love those early seasons of the show... too bad a reunion between these three didn't happen.... it would've been great to have seen Ritter on Big Bang Theory - I'm sure that would've happened! I got to see Carol Burnett a few years ago and asked if she had any stories or memories working with John on the film "Noises Off!" and she said he was always so nice, gracious with an amazing comedic timing. I loved him on "Hearts Afire" and followed him from project to project. I remember as a teenager in the 90s I had a chance to have done a workshop with him and I don't know why it didn't go through, some family conflict prevented it - it's one of those moments for me that you wish you could go back and make it happen. I still remember where I was when learned he died. Johnny Cash had died, and I was in my car when they said he was gone too..
Me, too!! I had just left home and was driving to work when they said they both had died. Sad, sad day, and fifteen years ago. Hard to believe it has been that long.
Nope. Joyce was a TRAINED TRAINED TRAINED ACTOR. She had the most formal skill. John's father was famous Tex Ritter which is how he got the role. Please do your research. Suzanne if you study had the LEAST of the training of the three and was the breakout star. She stole the show right out from under the other 2 which led to contract disputes. She was even on the cover of PEOPLE as the breakout star..
Wow Suzanne seems like she thinks she so much better than Joyce. Ugh. Wow. You can tell Joyce really thinks of John as a loved one and Suzanne seems that she couldn't care less
lolalove313 nice clip & I agree nice to hear from Joyce, but if we all love John, pretty obvious to me that we should all hate Suzanne b/c the show WAS ALWAYS JOHN, NOBODY GAVE A SHIT ABOUT SUZANNE
I just watched the diane sawyer documentary on john ritter and Suzanne was saying how they split apart (in a bad way) but it was Ritter's wife who kind of got them together and reconciled. However, how much I'm not sure. Once things between people go bad it's hard to rekindle it. From what I know Joyce and John never had any fallout. In fact, it's rare to hear John Ritter having any issues with anyone as he was very well liked. But yeah.. could be the reason why Suzanne seems a bit "cold" here (for lack of better word).
I started tearing up the moment she said "john". I grew up watching him. Not in threes company (I've actually never gotten into that) but 8!simple rules. I lost my dad as a child and I remember just loving the character of dad/Paul. He was one of the first celebrity deaths that truly effected me. I have to give such kudos to the way 8!simple rules handled his death. That was such a brutal episode, but it was done just as it should have been. You could really tell every cast member was genuinely grieving.
That was so hard to watch 😢 You just know that the grief you saw from the cast was real. I was really shaken by John's death & cried watching the episode.
I've been waiting forever to see this reunion. It must be very difficult for both of them to speak about the past. It takes a lot of nerve to face a person that had hurt you so bad in the past. Kudos to the both of them for finally burying the axe. Along with John, you were both the best part of Three's Company. The other blonde actresses were okay, but never lived up to Suzanne Somers playing Chrissy.
John Ritter. Such a terrible loss. I have to watch this show anytime I can, even when there is something else that on that I haven't seen. Just have to tune it to Three's Company.
I agree. It seemed like she just interrupted her and was very blunt. Then she jumped right to asking about her travels to Indiana. It looked like Suzanne didn't give two craps about any of it.
+Lorri Daniels what is your parents were alive and someone asked u if they r dead, how would u feel? would u feel like they care or were they expecting them to dead?
Lots of emotions watching this. This show was an anthem to my childhood🎉. My brother met John before he passed. I worked on a show with his widow right after. I didnt know they were ever married. She was really nice and so knowledgable of the industry

Yes, she does. I like it when an older celebrity doesn't get plastic surgery and grow old gracefully. It doesn't happen often enough, though. I don't get why they think it's attractive to look like an alien. :)

Hello Kathy how are you doing today hope you're safe over there?
I hope this year brings happiness and prosperity to all american and to the worldwide 🌍. I'm Carlos Holt by name from Key west, Florida... where are you from if I may ask?
Joyce seems to be really be aging gracefully. Suzanne..well.........Joyce really does look good
Suzanne Somers probably has had at least $50,000 worth of plastic surgeon, my guess? I don't think these two are really friendly with each other in real life. They talked like they hardly knew each other. I think they did this to just show respect for John Ritter . Suzanne Somers probably considered herself a diva back in the threes company days. Remember Suzanne Somers left the show early before it was done . She did make a fortune on all that exercise BS.
I think I read that Suzanne is worth about $100 million!
Don't even try and say you wouldn't do her
@@mhoward5239 She was fired from the show because she is a legend in her own mind.
@Hammerschlägen M Don't call people jealous when you are just guessing. Not one woman is jealous. For what reason? Seriously, why would anyone be jealous of her.
God rest your soul John 🙏✝️
John Ritter MADE Three's Company. Some of those episodes were hilarious. John's antics were cool.
Which is why he deservedly made more money.
When she talks about John Ritter calling her back and saying we have parties and dinner to go to I felt like crying!! So sad!!!
Agreed, Somers sounds bitter. I didn't expect to see this.
May Suzanne RIP!
Well said 👏 just arrogant
Joyce is such a beautiful person inside and out!!! I adore her. I miss John Ritter 😢 He was truly an incredible person. ❤
You survived your massive heart attack because it wasn't your time to go yet.
Joyce still looks amazing & nice..Suzanne was very fake just like her surgeries
Suzanne sounds fine. As Joyce DeWitt mentioned as part of this interview (although not in this clip), she was amazed at how much Suzanne Somers had gone on to do.
Used to feel bad that Chrisy left...but seeing this cold n plastic lady..am glad she did..sooo fake
@Diane Newman Mines too. No one wore tight jeans and heels like Janet/Joyce Dewitt.... Joyce also did very well on her physical acts of comedy, almost on par with John's.
You can see how intelligent Joyce DeWitt is, especially about acting, in this interview. It's a shame she is not on a tv show now.
Joyce and John has amazing chemistry on screen. Just beautiful watch....
We still miss Lucille Ball and John Ritter. Two of the best comedians we lost from the same conditions.
Suzanne seems like a cold fish....Joyce Dewitt is so nice
Suzanne was never the endearing girl that Chrissy Snow was. She was always like this when she was interviewed. I always thought she was full of herself.
Seems jealous.
Wow......I would have turned to her and told her that 3's Co was and still is my favorite show.
Tacky
I thought I was the only person who noticed that bull shit.. she's a bitch
It was because her brother died too. She just thought it was a strange coincidence. She wants to connect with JD. It probably weighs heavy with her to imagine what could of been if she'd been on the show the whole time. I'm sure she feels a sense of loss.
I agree
how do you die of a heart attack at 48? @@renekackline2377
Caught that too.
Got teary eyed watching this! Thank you John, Joyce and Suzanne for the wonderful childhood memories I had because of you. Yes Joyce was right, you shared an immense kind of joy that is still felt to this day. That is a gift. What a wonderful cast!!!
The chemistry seems rather tense between them.
They weren't exactly the best of friends then... and this is their first time ever speaking to one another for 30 years. Of course it's a bit tense lol
I give so much credit to Joyce for trying. Joyce came across as a classy woman. Suzanne, not so much.

Fell in love with Suzanne many, many years ago... Seeing this, give me a call Joyce, you're an amazing woman!
I liked chrissy as a kid and like Suzanne as an adult but this was a terrible get together.
this is just great. Suzanne seems completely normal and it seems they actually liked seeing each other again! I'm so glad they did this!
John was so funny and one the cleverest comedians ever
I loved John, What a lovely guy and talent. God rest his soul

JOHN RITTER, remember him. He was a love.
He was a sweet man
Makes me sad to know he died at a relatively early age. He gave me so many laughs.
Hello👋 Wendy how are you doing today hope you're safe over there?
I hope this year brings happiness and prosperity to all american and to the worldwide 🌍. I'm Carlos Holt by name from Key west, Florida... where are you from if I may ask?
I'm so glad to see them reunite. I worked at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, when John Ritter died.
Well, maybe but the way they both say it, he wanted them to guest star on his new show
Btw, Audra Lindley and Norman Fell should DEF have been mentioned as they played just as much a part in the show's success as the trio did.
The Ropers were kickass.
Yes the ropers probably should have stayed on three's company
TheSpogNYC But the producers turned on to Don Knotts ( Mr. Ralph Furley. )
Was going to say the same thing. I love John and Joyce. Talk about class. And I’m pretty sure the only reason Joyce did this was to honor sweet John.
Joyce has a heart of gold she was amazing next to John they were the perfect pair for the show three's company. Summers is all about summers that will never change.
Ye, I think Summers saw herself more as a 'brand'.
Big fan of Three's Company, however, Suzanne comes off as COLD. Joyce on the other hand has class. This is my opinion.
Love Joyce. She can come and knock on my door anytime.
My thoughts exactly. Cold, impersonal and horrible interview... awkward.
Part of it is that Suzanne has more Botox than blood in her face, I'm surprised she can talk.
I gently disagree.......her "friends" were not so friendly during the contract negotiations and the aftermath. She deserved better and she's come through it all. So, no you're wrong those warm nice people really no so and the ones you hold as cold?
Daniel Marquis I have the same analogy
John Ritter. Comedic perfection. I still miss him, and always will.
love joyce and john ❤️
"You stayed thin."
Lol...kind of an odd compliment she gave Joyce.
That’s what you always say to someone you never liked and was jealous about.
How wonderful to see a full range of expressions on Joyce's face. Suzanne, on the other hand, can barely move her facial muscles.
LMAO, Suzanne face is frozen
@@tonyathibodeaux882 i was gonna say she physically can't too lol
Interesting...plastic surgery?
John Ritter graduated from UCLA drama school, Suzanne took an intro to acting course at the Santa Monica community acting workshop. She was hired because she was drop dead gorgeous and had a great publicist.
brad lafferty despite everything she was a very, very talented actress.
And didn't wear a bra. Remember, John's dad was Tex Ritter, so he was a shoe in for any position.
Suzanne doesn't have much in the way of a personality and Joyce is animated, happy, and seems like an absolute joy to be around.
The 70's sitcoms were the best. Sanford and Son, All in the Family and Three's Company are just epic
These shows were before my time but they still come on today and are very funny!!
Hard for me to actually associate 3's company with the 70's, but yep, indeed it first aired in 1977, the same year star wars and Aliens came out...wow
John Ritter was extraordinary. I wish I could have met him. He was a generation's best big brother.
R.I.P John Ritter 1 of my fav,s Three,s Company, IT and a lot more....
Suzannes camera has a softner filter but Joyces does not, wonder why
Because Suzanne has to be the better looking one.
she still is worried about getting old but the face can look younger but the body cant lie when the clothes come off everything hits the floor woman are so shallow about LOOKS. My wife is almost 80 and looks so amazing today...no makeup EVER and drinks water like an alkie that is her secret girls so just let it go grow inside and let God look after the outside =)
Oh wow good catch, didn’t notice till I read your comment
Love Joyce...she has aged so gracefully Suzanne looks like she's trying too hard and comes across as fake both ofphysically and personally...
I agree.
Suzanne is resentful that Joyce didn't back her after she was kicked from the show for asking for more money. I think Suzanne is the more natural one.
Am I the only one who thought Janet was actually prettier than Chrissie?
Count me in the Janet camp
Yep.Before the surgeries, absolutely.
Of course you're not the only one.
Janet was the "Three's Company" hottie!!!
I only want to say.......Thank you for the memories and laughter.
Sad that there will never be closure for the original cast.
Rip John. I saw your dad Tex in man of la
mancha on Cape Cod in 1981 with my mom. I'd give anything to go back in time
A few comments. She should have at least said, "Let's do dinner instead, me, you and Joyce…"
Again, Priscilla Barnes is a blast, so much that I am appreciating the "Terri Years" on 'Three's Company' more now.
I saw a bit of Janet too when she spoke. This was a sweet video. Thank you who ever shared it. I just watched "Behind the camera the Unauthorized story of Three's Company" I loved watching the reruns as a kid.
Especially when she whispered at the @5:00 minute mark. So Janet.

Suzanne was crucified by the network and the media because she had the nerve to ask for the kind of money John was getting. I think she had every right to be bitter. She made a name for herself after all this but it was an uphill fight.

I wasn't even born when the show debuted, but I know the lyrics!
Do you think they go home and watch their own show?

Now I know why Suzanne seems so cold. Its her face lift doesn't let her be emotional.
Sad but true! I think both them seems natural as they can be. Neither one seems fake!
John was the true talent of the show. Glad they said a few nice things about him.
What's a true talent? They were all talented.
Ugh. Wow. You can tell Joyce really thinks of John as a loved one and Suzanne seems that she couldn't care less
lolalove313 nice clip & I agree nice to hear from Joyce, but if we all love John, pretty obvious to me that we should all hate Suzanne b/c the show WAS ALWAYS JOHN, NOBODY GAVE A SHIT ABOUT SUZANNE
lolalove313 I have to agree that Joyce comes out as genuine but I can’t say the same for Suzanne
Yeah she comes across as rather arrogant
@Flenif2247 you can be confident without being arrogant believe it or not.
I wished they had a threes company reunion show! But John passed away
Just have to tune it to Three's Company.
how can suzanne ask Joyce if her parents still alive... i found that rude
I agree. It seemed like she just interrupted her and was very blunt. Then she jumped right to asking about her travels to Indiana. It looked like Suzanne didn't give two craps about any of it.
+hatinontruth yeah like a interview and not like friends who have history together...
lol
how is it rude
+Lorri Daniels what is your parents were alive and someone asked u if they r dead, how would u feel?
would u feel like they care or were they expecting them to dead?
Lots of emotions watching this. This show was an anthem to my childhood🎉. My brother met John before he passed. I worked on a show with his widow right after. I didnt know they were ever married. She was really nice and so knowledgable of the industry
I always felt bad that Chrisy left..but seeing Susanne Somers, am glad...she's so cold and plastic
Joyce....warm n radiant
I still watch the re-runs; always loved the show and its great stars.
