Your rear braking setup really changed my game. I'm new to motoGP and funnily enough don't know how to ride a bike. So it's a fun learning experience. Still not sure when to use thr rear brake but it comes in handy at heavy braking points and when I want the rear wheel to kind of help push me into a corner. I suck at the game but I'm having fun. Thanks for the help!

No wonder my bike feels so sketchy all the time 🤦♂️😂 I even managed a couple 3rd in the worlds and a world record on the 800cc with the normal settings so going to try these out now. Very good video man 👌💯
I use 105 saturation on throttle to guarantee the trigger isn't maxing out before 100%.
Also dead zone at 20 on rider weight to keep from moving my weight back and forth as I steer.
Interesting your take on camera settings. I had been dabbling with it last week and found I had to settle on the close cam with adjustments. The rider is very close to my screen for better judgement on corner entry and how thick some of the kerbs are. That kept throwing me off clipping them on the far cam. That was so I can see what the rider is doing as well as seeing the areas on track.
It always felt like I was only able to focus on one thing or another instead of all.
I do wish the FOV could be adjusted even closer. The track away in the distance does feel so narrow.
That’s the other thing I despise about helmet cam. There isn’t enough force feedback detail. It’s either tyre, acceleration or brake slipping. There is no chassis inertia feel or feeling the weight transfer lifting the rear, then you’re off in helmet cam. This is where Assetto Corsa really shines. You could feel everything the car was doing. All the subtle weight transfer, suspension compression/release/lightness and chassis inertia to make correction, so you knew when to push or back off. You can even feel the differences of understeer and oversteer through the wheel. Understeer became heavy, oversteer became light.
The bike games sadly, it still doesn’t feel as if there is enough rumble detail to the game. You should be able to feel the chassis forces how the bike is twisting and turning so you can know the limits. All subtle details that can be made possible.

This was a great video as I’ve been struggling with the calibration a bit. Mostly, just not understanding exactly what fixes the issues I’m having, but you answered my questions! The rear brake in 22 is different and I hadn’t messed with calibration at all on that.

@@Dyl469 yes sir, tried out the settings on Valencia last night and it was noticeably better. Turns now cut in hard when I need, definitely needed the rear brake settings you had. Very happy!
Dylan, yer maun! Been waiting for this one. I used your calibrations in MGP21 and had better success. When I first got 22 I couldn't seem to ride it, were like I never had a go on a MGP game, and I have ALL of them since the first one one PS2 (and at least once a year I still play it and MGP2 just for shits n giggles) So I started using the MGP21 settings of yours which helped in 22, as my control inputs were too much or not enough. But I'm still looking to tweak more

I only started playing this game this week and find steering the hardest. Never played any motorbike games before too.
What can I say, my riding style is more or less the same as yours. This video was a great I managed to better my time at Estoril with just over a second. Lying 6th on the leaderboard with the 2009 M1 Rossi bike. I assume I will drop places but I’m getting faster with your assistance.

Yh tried these settings and they did help but I guess I’m just trash at the game because I don’t understand how people can ride with these physics. Stopped playing MotoGP after 18 because it’s trying to be a simulator. And I can’t think of one Sim racing game that is good and competitive on controller 🤷🏼♂️ As a biker myself how they’ve made the rear brake stronger than the front is all I need to say lol. Hi thanks 4 ur awesome videos I just started too like GP Moto sport transition from F1 aka Formula 1 from 2010 to 2022 the sport has changed too worse sport a lot, has changed. Thanks for this buddy, just bought the game on sale for Pc and was struggling but these settings made it loads better 👍🏻 just not anyone playing online? No lobbies at all online for PC anyway 🙈
The game was a massive flop on launch and it really hasn't recovered,I've tried playing online a handful of times but it's usually like 3 people on,very annoying as online is usually some good content
@@Dyl469 yeah a shame really there seems to be quite a few Chinese guys on in an afternoon in UK but that’s about it. Do you know if the other versions 20,21 are more busy?
@@philh3041 I reckon alot of people still play GP21, when the GP22 came out alot of my subs said they weren't buying it and they'd stay on GP21

It's making my bike feel sluggish.
I was excited about the turn inn feeling sharper but for me it feels better on default.
in my game there is no dead zone or linearity, only 3 options and you get 5
And here I am with default calibration fastest on Sachsenring (800cc) 1.20.4
I'm very heavy handed Dyl but I don't want to handicap myself - how on earth anyone can say you can be super gentle on this game I don't know?
Hey i want to make RT pressure high cause it doesn't goes 100% easily i have to push it harder so the bike throttles to 100% how to increase RTs pressure so i have press easily

Never changed my calibration maybe thst might help with earlier turning or being smoother on tracks?
It works for some people but not everyone,also milestone doing updates and altering the physics don't help,just as you get comfortable,bang nee physics

I'm playing this on Xbox one s, and these calibration settings don't work, they have no effect on my controller, the bike is still unridabe
It won't fix the games physics but slightly improve controller feedback for some people
Hey Dyl469, im confused about the assist option for the LLP. Its under race options. It says if you have it on when you enter a LLP the autopilot will engage. Every time i enter the LLP theres no autopilot taking over, it goes into that lil zoomed cam position but that its. Im assuming this option is there to steer your bike while your on that skinny LLP path. I remember last years game once you go off that path the camera will go back to your regular cam settings and it wont count the LLP. I hate to use rewind, i like to play with it off but since i mess up LLP's a lot, im forced to play with rewind. If i crash or mess something up last lap i get tempted to use that dam rewind feature and most of the time i do to be honest. Do you have any idea what i could be doing wrong or any advice to get this assist to work for me? Is it bugged do you know? This video has been helpful though DYL. Thanks for taking the time out to make this, That braking tip you gave sounds really helpful and cant wait to get outa work so i can try it. Keep up the good work n take care.

Reset all the values,you've probably bugged it out

@@Dyl469 I'll delete all game data and the game. If that don't work then it's the controller. Its a budget brand but it does work in all other games.

@@Dyl469 I did it all. 60 minutes left until new ps4 library download.
Even poaked the reset thing in the controller.
It was bugged even when I swapped trigger buttons in game.
