Braking is one of the biggest troubles I have I don’t carry enough corner speed. So I’m trying to get better at it, but I know that anytime MotoGP comes out I always depend on your channel to help me learn more about the game. I’m trying to be as good as you are on this game.
If Milestone does not Overhaul the Physics in this game ?? The few fans that are left will be gone in 2023 !1 These DEVS had 5 years to perfect this game and all we have gotten is CUT & Paste year after year !! Unacceptable !!

Great video, thank you. I'm getting better at breaking, but I am still struggling with breaking hard at high speeds before tight corners. If I use 100% breaks then the bike just flips forward. If I don't use 100%breaks then I miss the corner and crash. I can't seem to get the balance right so I end up breaking way too early and get quickly overtaken by the AI.
@@kibido7373 really? Didn't know that. I'll feel for that and see if it can make a difference. For now I have been hitting the breaks hard then quickly releasing then gradually braking into the corner. Not the fastest method, but not the slowest. Thanks mate.
@@kibido7373 ah ok, get it now. Yeah, that would be very helpful. I also find that it lifts quite randomly. I can't figure what what exactly causes it. Obviously it's hard braking, but it's not consistent
Can it be that rhd must be used while already moving above 70 or something? Maybe when you do a standing start it has less grip because of ride height? Idk...
I just got into gp 22 from gp 20. Gp 20 feels like I can ride the piss out of the bike but 22 I feel like every single thing is so sensitive and stiff.
The bike isn't responsive on this year's game,brakes are very very weak anf overall everything is very stiff,it's turned alot people off the game this year
The biggest issue i have is the extra rear grip, it really affects the bike on corner entry and most of my crashes are almost the exact same, too much rear grip pushing the front, it amazes me there hasn't been a real patch yet...
Tried my first multiplayer race today and it was a complete joke! Gp19/20 was the last working gp game, after that milestone have fucked up this game. In the races online everyone just brake crashed in every corner and track, ppl quitting all the time! A complete joke of a game
Great video. Braking is everything - doesn't matter how fast you go, but if you can't brake for corners it's all wasted. I've had to pay attention to braking more than previous titles. As well as disk type and temperature. Can you cover controller setup next? I had to adjust mine to get feel and sensitivity right, rather than try and adjust it out with suspension first. For the first time I've had to go straight for control setup to get the handling and responsiveness I wanted. Another great video, these technical insights are gold.
As a long time fan of racing and avid player of most racing games but who only got into motogp recently, and even more recently the motogp 22 game. I really appreciate your how-to/guide videos. Especially the more thorough explanations of not just the how but also the why. I've had it for 2 weeks and just could not for the life of me string a lap I felt good abot together, not to mention actually win races.. However, after watching the video on how to improve bike control I finally knew why I'd suck so hard... I've been using 100% braking & steering-lock for like 70% of all corners.. Thanks!
Braking sucks i can do it just slam A every corner and gentle left trigger but its boring and unnecessary they shouldve added combined braking for people that dont wanna do it, I like 21 where you can let the bike coast and it slows down tremendously
Just got into the game a couple days ago and for me i noticed that i have to back in the bike into the corner then release the brakes for a split second and trailbrake. Also holding a line is pretty tricky having to play with the throttle so I don’t go over the curbs
Dyl - had this debate with Dr Ace whose all about being 'gentle' on tbe brakes and throttle and controller. As someone with ADHD and type of person if I ring a bell I'll push it hard /twitchy that's kryponite ... But if you barely /moderately squeeze fbe brakes you fly into corners and come off/understeer If you brake too hard you need to correct/go slow/oversteer. How on earth do you play this game braking gently? Last year I was braking hard and then accelerate touch of rear break. This year its different But I cannot get on board with the "barely touch your pad' squad who think gradually pivoting your L Stick on Xbox is actually doable let alone just caressing your brakes. If I break early I do it too early and get the wrong angle Or I break too late Infuriating Been resding more ately but was between 2mins 8-2mins 13 at Qatar last time I was on Moto GP 21 before picking this up which isn't great but I was going in the right direction.
Braking gently doesn't mean pressing the trigger 60% for example,it means slowly bulid pressure,Dr ace and myself both would agree you need all of the stoping power on this game but how you use it is the key, go to about 60-80% pressure fast then slowly to 100% this will settle the bike better,let me know if it helps 👍

Just tried a quick GP and after try number 10 added like maximum anti stoppie on the guided set-up.. and still the AI cant even make it stop normally while going 150 into the corner instead of like 300. By then I had given up even trying to break myself and just drive low speed to see what happened. Right now this game just seems like a joke, like how is the AI not even capable of doing it right? Is it possible to let the AI watch this video? Cause the Assisted braking AI sucks even harder at braking than I do
The breaking system is heavily flawed in this game, unfortunately you can't not lift the rear on corner entry,on this game your pretty much need to learn on how to maximize it,that's the only way really to go fast
In F1 games career mode/myTeam, ai's tend to be faster by average of .1 second per level increase. Any chance to know how AI is faster per level in motogp's?
Does this also work for the lower classes ? Like the same sort of idea because I've been struggling worse with lower classes in career over Premier class in multiplayer

There is no perfect setting,turn in more gradually (slower) and don't brake as much while leaning,also braking early will put less pressure on the front and less crashing
Thanks for the help I have been having a huge broblem turning in at the high speed braking and once that happens I feel lik the rest of the lap It Is impossible to get back on the line. Should I play with breaking markes on or off. Does the dev team know where to break or am I better off learning my own.

I just deleted this game from my Xbox. It's totally unplayable for a beginner.

I reinstalled MotoGP21 and I´m waiting for a patch - for me it`s not realy playable!

10000% better with it off,the racing line is very inconsistent, take the hit now to be much faster in the future
