Chin ethnics are thinking world leaders are helping them for their freedom to make their own country but it's they want a place from where they can counter China before they helping chin ethnics they asked for Bangladesh to give them Saint Martin Island for naval Base later Bangladesh refuse it and says we can't prompt clashes...after that Arakan province offered by America for Saint Martin, again refused by Bangladesh, Then said we want to build a new Chritian Majority country by taking few land from Bangladesh,India and Myanmar. Bangladesh again said no we can't agree on this matter....If USA planing this they i may worry about Chin ethnic minority groups who living alone Bangladesh,India,Myanmar beside that China also come front because this country will made for them to encounter..
Now I am worrying that Chin ethnic minority groups who are living alone side with this two Nuclear power country can they survived?? And more two country won't let it happen because they don't want share their land....
This planing whole cost will be paid by chin ethnic minority groups innocent people.
USA can't just made another country by taking land from 4 countries and two of them Giant world power....

Like someone somewhere remarked, prayer alone is not going to help but I feel for the refugees and innocent civilians displaced by war.
In my humble opinion, refugees and displaced civilians fleeing or caught up in the civil war in Myanmar should be able to relocate and resettle over to the vast resourceful Australia & New Zealand in the Asia-Pacific region.
In fact, around 90% of Australia/New Zealand are completely empty.
Moreover, the vast majority of the population in Australia/New Zealand, tens of millions of Europeans were from all over Europe brought in over to the Asia-Pacific region.
[For more, pls read the informative multi-page comments by 'Ms. Gregoria' at, "Myanmar remains in social and economic crisis since military seized power/BBC News": th-cam.com/video/70ZnQZEBVuU/w-d-xo.html ].
Colonialism and Colonization are evil things done by evildoers. For instance, here in Singapore, a tiny island with 6 million souls lives like sardines in a can, elsewhere in nearby vast bountiful Australia which is ten thousand times 10,000 bigger with a mere 27 million inhabitants.
A similar situation in tiny and packed Japan, which is running out of space and land. Do you know that their living room and bedroom are the same place, and that most Japanese people sleep in their living room?
After all, ginormous resourceful Australia/New Zealand in the Asia-Pacific region are Asia-Pacific lands looted from Native Asians-Pacific people.
Besides, there's hardly any Muslim, Hindu or Christian in Burma up until Anglo British Colonialism.
I suppose it's fair to say that many of these tragedies that nation facing today, such as racial, ethnic and religious conflicts, started with Colonialism.
Why not Myanmar's Muslim, Hindu and Christian population, if they wish, move to a place like Anglo Colonized vast bountiful Australia/New Zealand in the Asia-Pacific region? After all, these are Asia-Pacific lands looted from Native Asians-Pacific people. 😔🤷

These minorities were conquered by Britain not Burmese. They were forcibly grouped under Burmese nation without their consent by Britain. The Pagan kingdom, Ava, Toungoo dynasty all had their kingdoms in the Irrawaddy delta you won't find a trace of Burmese Archaeology or influence especially in Chin state. If they could survive as independent entities for centuries before Britain what's stopping them from demanding independence from this never ending tyrannical rule. The Chin or Zo lands were divided into Myanmar, India and Bangladesh by the retreating British. They have a state in India as well (Mizoram) plus large populations in other Northeast Indian states. If freedom from repression is bad then Vietnam, India or African countries should never have fought for independence

Stop your stupid Indian logic. You know nothing about Myanmar. Rebel groups involved in Narco trade are SSA, TNLA, UWSA and Border Guards militia based in Shan state (the land of Khun Sa, the epicenter of Asian drug trade) These people are freedom fighters and anyone caught in drug trade in India are all criminals who have no connection with Chin forces, read the news. You are not qualified to comment on the internal conflict of Burma with your peanut sized brain.

My good name is Durgesh and I am more concerned about the current restriction that prevents us Indians from attaining the positions of Prime Minister and Vice President in Russia. It is disheartening considering that in the UK, individuals with our Indian heritage can become the Prime Minister and in the US, a woman with Indian background can hold the office of Vice President. It is unfortunate that us Indians are deprived of the opportunity to lead in Russia.

I am open to suggestion but I respectfully disagree when people say that democracy will return in Myanmar without the military regime. Whether we like it or not, the Junta regime is the only thing that is uniting the ethnic rebels. Without it, they will clash among themselves. This is our human nature and I have seen this play throughout our human history and it's still happening in the continent of Africa and other parts of our world. I believe that it is crucial to be realistic and not believe in emotions.
Myanmar is currently the largest producer of opium in the world and most of it is grown in areas inhabited by the pro-democracy rebels. Every week, our agencies in India arrest Myanmar nationals with heroin, brown sugar, methamphetamine tablets and other opioids.
I understand that life is tough in Myanmar but as someone who understands the complexity of the various ethnicities living in the Indo-Myanmar region, I assure you that the civil war in Myanmar will be more complicated without the Junta and any group with more resource than the other will continue to dominate the other.

excuse me? Did you say Myanmar military only will bring peace? You may know the situation where you live or work for. But do you know that the root cause of all unpeaceful events are because of the brutal violence of the military? Did you say people are focusing too much on emotions? Have you ever even imagined how we feel because of all the oppression and torture we have to get through because of the military? Please be respectful on word choices if you truly value empathy.

As the famous movie quote says😅 'Live for nothing or die for something' the people in burma had to endure the brutality of the junta for decades now the people have spoken and what you have seen in the news is the people's answer to the junta. Now let me ask you as you have claimed to understand the complexity of the people living in the region should they stand up for themselves or continue to survive under the military rule and remain deprive of all the basic economic right that you and i have take for granted like education, electricity, banking etc

Or the people who supported the military coup? When the first democratic government and Myanamr first regime (after launching a coup in 1962 ), along with its supporter committed mass Genocides against the Karen, karenni, poe, and other ethics minority ( since independence) forcing hundreds of thousands to flee into thailand and killing thousands. How is that any different from the Rohingya Genocides? Just as it is wrong to blame all Rohingya for the destruction of thousands of homes and the death of thousands of hindu and buddist because of the Rohingya Militants. It is also wrong to blame a whole enthic minority group because of the action of the many few.
