I'm from a state in Northeast India called "Mizoram" and I can understand almost everything they said in the video. My heart breaks for our blood brothers and sisters in west Myanmar who have become victims of the evil inhumane Juntas

The Western countries should have helped Myanmar a long, long time ago. With the same arms that are being supplied to Ukraine. All free world countries deserve the same. Not one over the other. This battle in Myanmar for more than 7 generations (from the time of Burma after World War II) did people out there know this. To me this is a damn shame. Who is supplying the drugs?
What they didn't tell you in the documentary is that throughout many wars the Chin ethnic were the career soldiers who was loyal and fought gallantly for the central government since the British colonial rule. Being born with the talents in hunting and fighting, they are well-known and well-respected warriors in Burma. Now they have a big score to settle with the junta military. A wounded tiger is a lot more dangerous than a normal one. Moreover this tiger has a gift in hunting.
Since the military coup in 1962 the Myanmar military has been against its population.
Anyone joining that military after that date should be ashamed!
@@kamma44 before working abroad trend, there wasn't much to do for a living in their home mountains. So being a soldier could guarantee them stable income, dwelling and education for children. Even in 1988 uprising, some Chin troops were used to crackdown the protestors in big cities.

There is a news clip by Chinland news where captured Burmese soldiers said that the house burning campaign was carried out a Karen captain in the Tatmadaw in Central Chin state

One of my really good friends I grew up with came to America as a foreign exchange student from Burma He helped teach me muay thai and also worked next to me on the farms in our area. He would work so hard to send money home to his family . My heart breaks too see his home country and people hurt the way they are.

My heart aches for these innocent people of myanmar, i've a friend from myanmar but she lives in urban area and updates us about the on going situation ,they are almost isolated in their own houses and these peaceful community of rural myanmar turned into rebellions are truly badass even though they know they are in small numbers but still standing and keeping their heads high against the wicked military coup , my deepest sympathy and total respect for these brave souls i hope they win over the evil military anytime soon and be able to restore peace in their country once again ..may god watch over them 🙏 sending love from singapore ❤️
I have great respect for the Myanmar people who fight back against the blood-thirsty junta regime. These junta comitted massacres and ethnic cleansing against the Rohinya people and now the Chin people and other minorities and people in Myanmar. The Chin and other people fight for their dignity and right to live decently. If humans are pushed to the limits, they can fight and defeat an enemy ten times their superior. I hope for victory by Myanmar people against the junta and the restoration of democracy in theie country.

Rohingya aren't native to Myanmar. And they're Muslims. If you think it's just the military regime that doesn't want them, it would be a gross misunderstanding of the complicated history of Myanmar. They're still suffering from British Colonial policies.

Democracy is beautiful, and I salute our Zo Hnahthlak brothers and sisters of Chin Hills fighting for freedom. I am proud to be a part of the Chin-Kuki-Zo ethnic group, which spans across India, Myanmar and Bangladesh. We have a common origin, culture and language, and we have a strong sense of identity and solidarity. We have also faced many hardships and challenges in our history, such as colonialism, oppression and violence. But we have never given up our struggle and resistance for our rights and dignity. The Tatmadaw, the military of Myanmar, has been notorious for its brutality and human rights violations against the ethnic minorities, especially in Chin State, Rakhine State and Sagaing Division. They have killed, tortured, raped and displaced thousands of our people, and destroyed our homes, villages and livelihoods. They have also tried to erase our culture, religion and identity. They have no legitimacy or authority to rule over us. We want freedom, democracy and peace in Myanmar, and we support the democratic movements led by the National League for Democracy (NLD) and other opposition groups. We also want recognition and autonomy for the Chin-Kuki-Zo people within a federal system that respects the diversity and plurality of Myanmar.
Therefore, I do not appreciate your sarcastic remark that I should go and fight the Tatmadaw alongside my brothers. I am not a coward or a traitor, but a loyal citizen of India who loves my country and respects its constitution. I am also a compassionate human being who cares about the suffering of my fellow Zo Hnahthlak people in Myanmar and Bangladesh. I do not need to move to Myanmar to show my solidarity with them, as we are already connected by blood, history and destiny. I also do not need your permission or approval to express my opinions or emotions, as I have the right to freedom of speech and expression in India. I hope you can respect that, and not insult or provoke me with your hateful comments.

I lived and worked in myanmar for more than a year.I have got many burmese friends,hope all of them are fine nowadays.I was there when the pro democracy government won the election last 2014 or 2015,and people were very happy,i felt the happiness of the people.Hope so the people will get the freedom soon.
Be strong, my brothers. The Chin-Kuki-Mizo, wherever we are, be it Myanmar, India or Bangladesh must fight for our rights and the future of our people. @@momomomo4247What do you mean by this? The Naga Hills, Manipur Hills, Lushai hills were never under any rule of the Indian Dynasty. They had their own administration. The border we have right is just a line drawn on the map. The Chin-Kuki-Zo people are indigenous to these lands. They speak the same language, same culture, same history and same religion. India shouldn't have forced the Northeast to join the Indian Union. They should have their own separate country.
The kuki chinin myanmar cannot tolerate injustice too.
They fight the junta for the sake of restoring democracy and for the good of all.

India has a history of helping its neighboring countries in times of need, such as Bangladesh, Sikkim and Bhutan. India supported the liberation of Bangladesh from Pakistan in 1971, and recognized it as an independent nation. India also helped Sikkim in its merger with India in 1975, after a referendum in which the majority of Sikkimese people voted to join India. India and Bhutan have a special relationship based on mutual trust and cooperation, and India has been Bhutan's largest development partner and trading partner. India also provides military training and assistance to Bhutan, and has pledged to protect Bhutan's sovereignty and territorial integrity. So, India can advocate for separatism and militancy in those areas but not in Myanmar who is oppressing the Chin-Kuki-Zo people for hundreds of years?
These examples show that India's involvement in the affairs of its neighbors is not based on any selfish or expansionist motives, but rather on the principles of friendship, peace and stability. India has no intention of interfering in the internal matters of Myanmar, but only wants to help the people of Chinland who are suffering from violence and oppression by the military junta. India has a moral obligation to stand by the democratic aspirations of the Chin people, who share ethnic, cultural and religious ties with India. India also has a strategic interest in ensuring that Myanmar does not become a pawn of China, which is trying to expand its influence and presence in the region.
Therefore, I think that India should seriously consider doing peacekeeping missions in Myanmar, as many retired army officers have suggested. It will not only be a humanitarian gesture, but also a wise move to safeguard India's own security and interests in the region to stop mass illegal immigration in the country.
