I haven't seen anybody on youtube using a corded drill for years, I love it! Best example that the willingness to do something is far more important than a big machine park. Great work.
Loved it, a very humbling and refreshing video. Glue spread by finger and wiped clean on the back of the pants, eyeballing dowels holes, changing bits with a keyed chuck, no impact driver and getting the young apprentices in to help. Had me thinking about how simple life can be and how difficult we have often made it. The end product was just as functional as any of the similar but far more elaborate and complex builds I have watched. I didn't see any mistakes made, just a person both learning and imparting new skills.
As a father of two daughters myself, it’s very nice to see your daughter looking to spend time with her dad. Enjoy it; they grow up to adulthood before you know it
Thank you. I appreciate your level of skill and attention to detail. It was refreshing to see you engaging your children in the process. I look forward to viewing more of your work.
First build and you make that... Man that's impressive as heck! Massive kudos. You definitely have an aptitude for wood working clearly. I hope I can one day build a table this nice and functional. Also as others have said it's beautiful that you teach your children from a young age these skills. Not only are they learning to create a table, they're learning independence from consumerism, building creativity, and confidence. Thanks for sharing this video with us.
I designed a table similar to yours i.e., notching the vertical 4X4 on two sides. The only difference is that I cut my horizontal pieces at 45˚ so that I would not have any end grains showing. Mine was a workbench but now after seeing your outfeed table I am going to build one like yours. I am thinking that I might try and incorporate a router to make it a little more versatile. Love your design, craftsmanship and also a fine job on your first TH-cam video. Good luck on your TH-cam journey. That is something I have not tried yet.
Excellent, well thought out design. I appreciate you producing and sharing this with us. This is exactly what I need in my small shop. I'm going out to the shop in a bit and start on one of these myself🙂
Thank you for your words! If you can, please share with us your workbench. I need to build another for my miter saw and some storage and I'm sure I'll learn something with you.
This is excellent work, I’m about to go buy one of the Dewalt saws you’re using and was looking for clear plans to build an out feed table. Top shelf sir!
Boy, where do I start, first off what a great build and what a great video! I assume you live “across the pond” from America because I’m so impressed with how Europeans take what “we” call job site saws and turn them into table saws that accomplish the same damn things that we do with our high priced cast iron behemoths! I’ve got the DeWalt table saw DWE7491RS that has its own legs, it is so rock solid that I can’t bring myself to build what you did, BUT! You’ve given me a lot to think about. Again, great vid, really enjoyed it!
Good Job. I am working on plans for a 42 inch high workbench (I get tired of constany haveing to bend over). I wanted to include provisions for a table-saw. The DWE7484 is one that I am considering. However DeWalt says the dimensions are "28 high x 14.2 wide x 26.75 long, 54 pounds". I did believe it was actually 28 inches tall. I exported your assembly drawing to an STL file and imported it into ARES Commander. The dimensions I got from that were 22.5 inches wide x 22 inches deep x 13 inches high. Thank thee 🙂
все гладенько та рівненько! мені сподобалось. але ж я б ще добавив хоч одне колесо на нижнє перехрестя. бо дуже немаленький стіл, під навантаженням може провисати. лайк!
Thank for you comment! I thought of doing that to, but after 2 years I still didn't notice any problem. If it happens I can still put more castors wheels.
You do have to spend some time setting the saw up... blade, fence, etc. But once done, the saw is great. Fairly compact which is Nice th-cam.com/users/postUgkxXh-4_3-ZT1fFWP91ZV7iVqzElr0lEb-a I did get an Incra Miter Gauge which takes some setup as well. The stock miter gauge can be adjusted in the miter slot with a little painter's tape... this tightens up the side to side play a lot.
Nice saw and bench came out nice. If you are looking at cordless drills, Dewalts are well worth the money. Brushless are best (XRP series). No worry about mistakes, as your skills improve so will your ability to recover from mistakes. We all make them so dont sweat it. :)
Just wanted to let you know sir if you can find it there is a specialty bit unit called a drill and drive, will drill the pilot, shank, and countersink in one function on one side and flip it over and your screwdriver bit is there, just a suggestion for a little bit of simplicity since you have a keyed chuck, but well done on the project nonetheless
Do you have the plans on inches I don't understand work in mm I download it to make this bench. I will appreciate if you have it Than you for your time and work. I just lost my job for 21 years but God will help me now on. I bought this table saw to learn woodwork until find another job or learn how to make cabinets ect. Or whatever came. So far it's been working great for me. There are some improvements I want to make, like adding some drawers and a vise. Also some heavy duty castors. The one's I used are a bit flimsy. Thank you for watching.
Nice project. Just curious if you maybe should have put a castor or two in the center to support the weight? I myself have had to do that after the fact. Your editing and choice of music are very well done.
I thought of that, but my floor isn't level and I was afraid it would make it worst. So far I have no problems with the workbench center. It feels very solid. Thank you.
Nice job! Are you happy with the cutting height of your 7485? I'm wondering if the 65 mm are enough or not, cause there is a huge price's difference between this saw and the bigger 7492...
Thanks! Sometimes I wish that the 7485 had a bit more cutting height, but generally it is fine for my projects. Perhaps a band saw would be helpful... Not sure.
Hi. I don't have pdf plans, but in the link in the video description there is a worksheet with all the measurements and quantities. Does that help? Thanks.
Awesome build. I am going to use this to build my table. I went to the google drive link to download the CAD files. I have autodesk but when I try to open the CAD files they do not open. What program did you use to create these? I was able to access the spreadsheet with all the cuts. I am excited to get this built!
Hello. If you download the FreeCAD file you will find all the measurements. To build this workbench I used european Nordic pine. I'm sorry for just answering now.
I haven't seen anybody on youtube using a corded drill for years, I love it! Best example that the willingness to do something is far more important than a big machine park. Great work.
I love seeing your helper in the shop with you!
Me too!
Thanks.

Nothing I didn't enjoy about this production. Great workstation!
Thank you 😊

Excellent craftsmanship sir. Well done.
Спасибо за проект FreeCad
You're welcome!
Very well done sir!! The table looks fantastic. And I love the workshop, especially the ceiling beams.
Thank you. It's a very old house 😀!
They're not made like that anymore.

GREAT JOB
Thank you.
Awesome video and workbench! Keep up the great work!
Good workbench, good luck with your new projects
Thank you. It's nice to be able to share my projects. Hope you like them.
Such great design and video work! Thanks for sharing!
That's a nifty miter saw you got there. I really like the form factor. Must be easy to carry around I reckon

gran trabajo
Good job !!!👍💪💪
Nice build and especially for a first project. New subscriber here.
Thanks!
thanks for the file!
Hope you like it.
I went through a lot of plans and decided to use yours. I just want to know how did you make the join at 7:17 ? Did you use dowels on both sides ?
Yes I did.
It was the only way I could make it. Probably there are other ways but it worked out for me.
Thanks for watching.
Great video, nice project. I like to build one similiar to yours 👍
Thank you.
You can download the file and try changing it to suit your needs.

I will try to convert to inches with the software.
Don't know if I can...
Hello Ruben.
In FreeCAD you can change the measurement units Edit / Preferences / General. The will be a tab called Units.
Hope it helped.
How are you liking the workbench so far? I want to build one similar to yours.

I’ve built a very similar bench, that are so useful. I hope you get lots of good use out of yours 👍🏼

Indeed! Saved by the little helpers! 😃

@@tabula_rasa_abt Thanks for your reply!
Great video! Did that fence setup come stock on the table saw?
Yes it did.
Thanks.
Hello do you have the plans in format . Pdf? I dont know how to use CAD
Hi.
I don't have pdf plans, but in the link in the video description there is a worksheet with all the measurements and quantities.
Does that help?
Thanks.
Tried to download your files and I can't view CAD files.
The files were made in a software called FreeCAD. You can only open them in that software.

Do u have the plans
They are available in the link in the description. You will need FreeCAd to view them.
Почему нет размеров, я хочу такой-же стол сделать.
Hello!
The file I have in the description has all the sizes. It's a FreeCad file. (Free software)
Thanks.
Hello.
If you download the FreeCAD file you will find all the measurements.
To build this workbench I used european Nordic pine.
I'm sorry for just answering now.
Too much TH-cam fluff i.e. scenes of mundane tasks.
Det ville være rart med nogle mål, samt hvilke materialer der bliver brugt og tykkelser😪👎🏿
REALLY SUCKS
You ok bro?
