I just stumbled across this I'm actually working on a harpy lady that my progression series and you actually gave me some really good ideas thanks! Plus one subscriber :)
Hey, awesome deck profile! Gained a subscriber. What happened to your hands if you don't mind me asking? Did you get burned? Whether you want to replay to that or not it's alright because I'd understand. God bless. 🙏
I was in a house fire, i suffered 3rd degree burns on my hands and face. Glad you enjoyed the profile and thank you for joining the onion gang, and feel free to ask any questions im just happy to be here alive and breathing.
Love the bird ladies. Such a shame the first harpie support monsters had the stupid name clause restrictions. Some ideas /edits that come to mind; These make the deck more aggro-oriented, but I think the harpies are sort of suited for that. - 1 Harpie Sisters - 1 Harpie Lady 2 - 1 Scape Goat - 1 Metamorphosis - 1 Hunting Ground - 1 Bird Face - 1 Big Shield Gardna - 1 Dustshoot - 1 Book of Moon - 1 Solemn Judgement - 1 Breaker - 1 Tsukiyomi - 1 Torrential Tribute + 2 Terraforming + 2 Creature Swap (plays great with your searchers/THB ala pyramid turtle in zombie lists) + 1 Cyber Harpie / Lady 1 + 1 Twin Headed Behemoth / Pet Dragon (This is just a cute idea but the latter has explosive potential with Return) + 1 Rising Air Current + 1 Nobleman of Crossout + 1 Tribe Infecting Virus + 1 Sakaretsu Armor + 1 Raigeki Break + 1 Return from the Different Dimension + 1 Ring of Destruction Some other good cards in the deck to consider: - Spell Canceler - Zaborg The thunder Monarch (spot removal for monsters is short without TER, and you have lots of tribute fodder access), - Slate Warrior (This can easily be a 2900 beater out of nowhere) - Metamorph/Goats (I know we cut these, but they can maybe find some room in the side as 2-ofs I think, Egotist into Sisters gives quick level 6 access) - Elemental HERO Flame Wingman (With the aforementioned above, this becomes a nice little option that can open up some game shots out of nowhere)
I have a similar harpie deck that allows any card from before 2009 [when they changed how the cards look] with x3 harpie queen this deck is excellently consistent and annihilates backrow, but the power ceiling is pretty low. Triangle ecstacy spark is a 4 card combo (harpie lady, elegant egotist, sisters required before activation) and it still can't get over blue eyes... If Harpie's Pet Dragon was 2500 base and got 500 extra for each harpie it might actually be viable. They need a solid 1-tribute in archetype with 2400 that has an attack boosting or protection effect, I'm forced to use Rocc from valley of haze or swift birdman and they feel tacked on. And they still lack a true boss monster, which is half the fun of yugioh, ugh Simorgh why are you so terrible
That single dust shoot seems out of place. I'm playing the deck in my mind and I don't see how it helps me (aside from doing what the card giving you a peep at their hand). I hear all the talk about playing around their hand but you have to have the out to begin with. Deck does a lot of searching and I like that. Gl
I hate maxing out on cards that will be dead if I lose the die roll, so I decided to play dustshoot as a sacky one of. With triple silpheed and backrow hate with hunting ground I dont think I need to open a dustshoot anyway. I do want to play something that banishes sinister tho.
What are your thoughts on maxing out on things that are auto live if you DO lose the die roll? I would need months to understand ratios for this deck. Harpy, elegant, bird, sisters, kamakuri, hunting ground, and the secondary cards (silphleed, and monster removal) are all things I could get lost adjusting. Then there's also guardna and other obtuse tech. Nice project you got there. Definitely should take it to tournament online.
@@lorenagarcia8322 in my friend group they all play different goat decks and this is the first one I built so I just tried to diversify my answers so that they are relatively live against all of their decks. I guarantee you if I played online and in tournaments this deck would be subject to a major overhaul depending on which decks are represented. I think this current build is pretty good against traditional goat control. I'm sure when I have more experience with the format my deck building process will change.

Really cool deck profile man. Hope to see more content like this in the future!

@@greenoniontcg8081 glad to hear your alright lad
just wondering what cards were used in the extra deck, the image is hard to read and I cant find the link anywhere
Nice build! I was recently working on a Harpie deck but using the Normal monsters instead :-)
I just... There's no way to make vanilla harpie lady work in goat. If you can find a reason to run her let me know because she's just terrible.
@@ProtestantsRUs I posted my deck profile on my channel :)
@@CardMasterBrian I know I saw, but I think it's performance suffers because of it

Some ideas /edits that come to mind; These make the deck more aggro-oriented, but I think the harpies are sort of suited for that.
- 1 Harpie Sisters
- 1 Harpie Lady 2
- 1 Scape Goat
- 1 Metamorphosis
- 1 Hunting Ground
- 1 Bird Face
- 1 Big Shield Gardna
- 1 Dustshoot
- 1 Book of Moon
- 1 Solemn Judgement
- 1 Breaker
- 1 Tsukiyomi
- 1 Torrential Tribute
+ 2 Terraforming
+ 2 Creature Swap (plays great with your searchers/THB ala pyramid turtle in zombie lists)
+ 1 Cyber Harpie / Lady 1
+ 1 Twin Headed Behemoth / Pet Dragon (This is just a cute idea but the latter has explosive potential with Return)
+ 1 Rising Air Current
+ 1 Nobleman of Crossout
+ 1 Tribe Infecting Virus
+ 1 Sakaretsu Armor
+ 1 Raigeki Break
+ 1 Return from the Different Dimension
+ 1 Ring of Destruction
Some other good cards in the deck to consider:
- Spell Canceler
- Zaborg The thunder Monarch (spot removal for monsters is short without TER, and you have lots of tribute fodder access),
- Slate Warrior (This can easily be a 2900 beater out of nowhere)
- Metamorph/Goats (I know we cut these, but they can maybe find some room in the side as 2-ofs I think, Egotist into Sisters gives quick level 6 access)
- Elemental HERO Flame Wingman (With the aforementioned above, this becomes a nice little option that can open up some game shots out of nowhere)
Such a cool profile :D i would love to do something like this in the future for my channel :)
Thank you, also you have the best username I've ever seen in my life 😂😂😂
@@greenoniontcg8081 haha thanks so much :D, i post weekly goat format content if you ever want to try other builds :D
